Ok, since you wanted feedback:

1)It is almost impossible to say anything about your gameplay if you decide to randomly speed up or slow down parts of a fight.
If you want to make a vid to show off how good you are, or for entertainement, thats perfectly fine, but you cant really expect feedback on your performance in it.
The sound is also important. Again: if you want people to watch the vid, a song will do fine. If you want feedback, the original game audio is important.

2) If you want people to judge your performance you should choose a match where you dont domintae. Everyone can play well if their team is superior.
For example you spent a lot of time sitting on close, even capped it with two people. That works well as long as your team can hold the other fights without you, but for an even matchup, you would need to roatate much more (and probably do).

3) Its kinda hard to see how well you fought (speed again ^^). I realised some good moves including portal and blink. At one point youve spent a lot of time autoattacking against a projectile destruction field. Another time you were stunned and took a little too long to break it.
It also looked to me like your general illusion uptime wasnt very high.
Most of the ‘really good’ mesmers I fought have at least two of them up and running all the time, and that whilst constantly shattering something. No idea how they do that tho.

Thats really all I can say here, mostly negative I guess, but thats just because im better at giving negative feedback, not because there wasnt anything good to say. ^^

i tried to do something in the middle where its not to draggy and entertaining(i assume) at the same time..but i guess your right its kinda hard to see the detail gameplay like this..i will look into (or try) a better format. i am looking forward with interacting with the community the most really. and i will also try to improve my illusion up time that you mention!(its kinda tricky to do so!)

As for the particulars, it’s really hard to give any serious comments. The entire match consists of both teams running around like headless chickens off point, mashing their heads togeather until somebody goes down, then piling more downed bodies on top of that. You kite the outside of the madness for a while, even getting on the skyhammer for a bit, then rinse repeat.

For your next vid: Play ranked. Play conquest point capture. Take and defend points. Attempt sound rotations. Then post your vid and there’ll be a good framework with which to offer feedback to how you did.

I can say that whenever focused you got ripped apart. Gotta look into that. You should also look into the basics of setting up a burst/attack. Your current method seems to be to spam staff aa + 2 & 3, and fire off your shatters whenever.

Haha yeah was not very confident on joining ranked and mess everyones fight. But yeah,im lack of knowledge on getting out of the focused heat but I got a comment on youtube that suggested me to use portal,im gonna try that next. About the staff rotation is it wrong? I found it the best choise I have atm because for every illusion I shattwr I gain 1 more trait. Maybe you can share me your thoughts on that? And yess gonna play ranked for next video!:D

If you switched to scepter you would be able to kite better and avoid dh traps but I’m no expert

i used scepter before but i find the casting time a tad slow resulting me downed before i could finish my rotation. what about 2nd weap and utility?

btw, any condi auramancer in here that could give me some pointers of what im doing wrong..honestly its effective but i feel it could be better. thanks! :P

I don’t know if you’re looking for honest feedback, but I can give you some:

At 1:20 I would have ported and cleaved the body with gs2 while your friend gets the finish. After this there isn’t really much you could do because 2 of your teammates were down and no enemy players were down, you weren’t going to res them vs 3 people without dying. In the meantime your team had won control of both side caps with a 1v0 on far and a 1v1 on close, so you should have supported the 1v1 on close and held the outer caps. Dying here is really bad if the enemy team knows what they are doing, because it essentially leaves your team 2v5 on the map for a good 25 seconds (15s respawn and 10s to get back to the fight) and allows the enemy team to roll over the whole map during that time. Meanwhile if you killed the guy on close in the 2v1, it would leave your team 3v4 on the map rather than 2v5. Luckily the enemy team wasn’t too bright, so they didn’t take advantage.

4:22 – 3 of your teammates go down to a single guardian, which is just a massive facepalm. I really hate to steal your thunder, but it wasn’t as much of a heroic res as you could have literally done anything you wanted and the 3 downstate players could have fully killed the single guardian.

There isn’t really anything else I can comment about on this video.

Now that you mentioned it on 1:20, your right i didnt realized it back then but would’ve been a more solid win if we did that. and for 4.22 felt good at the moment but i guess your right. but i really appreciate your feedback and hopefully i will improve that in a more recent video.
