Going to throw a name out there that is 100% deserved of this title. The guy runs non stop commanding sometimes up to 10 hour shifts. His guild ALWAYS takes our home BL for reset which they know full well will 100% of the time be a full blown 2 v1 and they typically always hold the N of the map.
He never kittenes or complains about anything. He never really gets flustered even when he has an army of pugs or militia on him. The guy is not only a top notch T1 commander but also a really good person and a great leader. There are a TON of good commanders on BG but Malevolent Omen from OnS and his AoI group stand above the rest to me hands down.
The dedication, effort and heart, that him and his guys show to BG is un parallel and we know as a server that we can count on him and his guys when the doodoo hits the fan.
Mal my man, in my eyes you have earned BGs commander of the year and you did it with class every step of the way.

Tarkus my man if I were you I think I would quit posting a while, at least about stuff like this. But man you contradict every word you say with something else and the statements you made when leaving BG were taken to heart. Like I said when you left I think you galvanized a lot of our SEA and OCX forces on BG like a hardened fist. Was not your intention, but what you did, how u did it, and what was said rallied our SEA and OCX.
I appreciate your congrats BG line up above there but lets be real… No one on BG will take it seriously or think that its truly meant.

1: To the SOR posters saying this week is over, its not. We BG fully understand the sheer power of our opponents all the way through the week and will never underestimate them. EVER!
2: Thank you omniomi.7351 for putting JINX on P1 news,,, were such a quiet guild we arent used to any attention. Its kinda nice..lol
3: To all our allies on BG we are fighting the good fight and not letting up on the pressure. This takes so much dedication and coordination throughout all time slots I hold nothing but respect for yall.
4: To all our enemies ( yes even u SOR guys) understand that we will never underestimate you as an opponent and JINX will always hold a ton of respect for MOST all of you. Some certain guilds are suspect but 98% pure respect for the rest.
5: Lastly I thought i should say this about MERC leaving to JQ, there were a lot of ex MERC that stayed on Blackgate and have formed into other guilds like KING, MERC BG, and also KnT Oceanic division. So even though It stung bad to have it happen the BG OCX community actually got stronger because of it. It took a while for it to happen but your seeing it out in the field now.

BTW you dont have to be a mega force of 50 people to have an impact on WVW. I know a lot of people think that you do, being the T1 meta and all….but seriosly you can do a lot of damage with 10-15 people. Hell even 5 can hold BL on a map.

Lol its funny to even see SOR and JQ posters in this thread, the rest of you I can understand your opinion and respect it. But especially from the JQ and SOR people, you do realize the 2 weeks prior to seasons both of your servers obliterated us and had very open conversations in the match threads about how BG had zero chance of taking anything more than 3rd in leagues.
And now were over stacked and poised to take T1 championship….. lol yall make me laugh. My opinion is as such: BG may be threatening to take 1st but right now JQ is a massive force to take on in week 5 and we still have to get past SOR this next week. So I would say in an all honest opinion, that its a toss up between JQ and BG to the end.
Hats off to all friends and foes who are showing up to compete. Without you guys T1 is a really lonely place. And to all the BG guys giving IRON a hard time, it appears that they are trying to reel in their trolls on the forums lets show them some respect and try and do the same (can’t believe I’m saying this). They are going through a pretty rough time with their guild leader being ill. Let’s try and show SOME decency to them as that would be a horrible situation for anyone to go through.

Wow I normally am a poster that that salutes players on the opposing side, but this last week im finding it hard to salute anything from SOR, Your guys are not showing up, when they do its kitten, then yall just come here and make excuse after excuse after excuse for yourselves.
We got 1 guild guys… in a timezone that you…. SOR …….SMASHED us in 2or 3weeks ago, (late sea-early eu).
Stop your QQ it makes you look awful, and get your butts out on the field. We know you are better than this effort, and so do you.BG has fought you way to much and for way to long to just accept that THIS is the best you got. And BTW whether your looking at this week or last, it WASNT SEA-EU that sparked rallied and held onto an 18 k push in 2 days… it was NA prime and OCX that got that ball rolling. So no disrespect to our new transfer….. but BG started making that push long before our new Russian friends were even here.
So I challenge you SOR, come out and play. Bring what we know you can bring. Dont lay over and play dead( I dont care what the reason is). Because in the end BG is playing for 1st and always has been, so you can either lay there and take it lying down or play to your potenial and stop us in our tracks. Do you want it enough? Or do we? Time will only tell.

Im just saying stop the QQ and get out there and fight, I know we here at BG are really looking forward to all the weeks we play SOR and JQ either solo, or together, because we know its going to be a knockdown, drag out, bloodbath of a brawl.
And I for one am really interested to see how BGs new SEA stacks up against the JQ powerhouses. And I am NOT talking about just 1 guild, I mean the new alliances on BG for that time slot are amazing. We have our Thais back which is huge! KING, Merc, Omen gaming, ND, NOC and all others that play in that slot. And I know that they are all looking forward to the JQ matchup to test how good they really are. So my advice is less QQ and get ready to fight because BG is coming and we wont back down.

I really hope SOR embraces you guys and helps you out with this. It is so rewarding playing this way. And yes it CAN work with the T1 blob meta we have proved it for over 2 months on BG. Even though it may put you as the 1st guild on SOR that does what we do( which is competition..) I think all servers need this in T1. And you have my support 100%.

Yeah the CD is waaay too long, on the last patch i got excited because i did’nt see in the tool tip that the cool down was there, so i quickly ran to test it and low and behold!!!!!!!!!!!!!……………… Its crap still. 90 second CD for maybe an AOE chill maybe not is doo doo for guards.
One of the best guilds in their timezone hands down and just really awesome people to play with. Only good things come from joining this guild!

Cause map blobs from each side on every map and JQ having 1 queued map total can combat that. 1 Commander can only do so much.
Tarkus is a game changer by himself, i remember a while back and he wasnt playing for the week and BG crumbled but when he came back the following week they managed to win. What says he doesnt give the same influence to JQ
The thing is that I know we here at BG, have decided to play against JQs Oceanics in a much different way this week and regardless of 2 v 1 or what not’s out there Tarkus and MERC are at their deadliest when they can float map to map and wreak havock and go on the offensive. What we have seen a little of this week is that they are being held into 1 map on defense usually. Don’t know if its the other 2 servers pressure on JQ or that JQ has map Ques on all maps at that time. But eliminating their mobility and forcing them to be on defense has had HUGE advantages for both SOR and BG in this time slot. If you deny that then you did’nt play this weekend.
No disrespect to MERC on JQ or Tarkus by saying this, but its a fact that keeping the pressure on them non stop doesnt allow then to move around maps and obliterate SOR or BG keeps. With that said great fights all around this weekend to all servers. Thank you for the battles.

Well I will say that JQ does seem to have quite an easier schedule than the rest of us but still good fights hopefully all around.
