On my server at least which 99% of the time just has small groups or solos out doing pve, I have heard several stories of culling in orr since this last patch.. I was not there but yeh just passing it along.

This is my theory, yes A-net did something to mess up the queues… I however think it was intentional. Here is my reasoning, with all the culling issues and them realizing their helper patch for culling is failing so miserably that less than 10% of the posting players are happy with maybe they gave us something else to kitten about that can be more easily explained away . If this were the case they could always revert whatever they did before to get some “love” from community and buy themselves more time on the culling issue they obviously have no idea on.. yay conspiracy rant /off .;p

That’s the same problem we had on our BL last night. But no one will obviously believe that we could field no more than 60 compared to two opponents who could field entire teams. But whatevs, we’ll deal with it.

Oh and you know…they wouldn’t try and take each other’s stuff, just our last towers. It was pretty cool.

Whiner of RE … this is the upper tiers, it starts in tier 4 when you aren’t playing dead servers and continues to get worse as you move up. All maps will usually field all 3 teams. I understand you are new to the upper tiers now that you found a good zerg server to hop onto but you’ll get the hint after a few weeks, nothing out of the ordinary going on here.

Orbs were fine, they just had to swap the orb buff with the outmanned buff.

This was what I originally thought when they removed the orbs and said they would bring them back some decade in the future…. I think the 15ppt per orb or -1% gold costs on all things per orb . 3% less gold isn’t a huge thing but it would certainly be a welcome break from the already demoralized wvw I can’t make money here crowd.
Orbs were a good rush and great challenge to hold and keep out of enemy hands.

What is driving me nuts is I have seen about two dozen of those chests and they seem to have the exact same crap as the bags. I really don’t need any more spikes. Come to think of it I haven’t hit an orange since the patch and only 6 or so yellows. I have also been on a server running the out manned buff which I think should create better drops.

Try never have gotten an orange to drop, wvw, pve, dungeons, or fractals. Tis sad indeed.

That is just really bad luck .. I think “on average” I get around 2 rares a day in wvw and overall since release I’ve found maybe 8 exotics in wvw. I do spend about 5 hrs there daily though… maybe that is a factor.

People still talking about numbers as all I saw other than dead bodies in DRBL tonight was that 40+ man zerg. It is ok though fun all the same, I just imagine all of them trying desperately to get to my body before I’m finished for loot bags…. spamming gap closers and aoe.

I enjoy fighting WaR, fun times. I certainly enjoyed dueling one of their Warriors on my Necromancer until the duel was interrupted. Look like it was going to take awhile to finish that fight. ( Duel was last rotation)

I also enjoy fighting PvP and SM , PvP likes to engage like we do it seems. Superior numbers, probably going to die … heck with it, let’s do this. SM’s got a strong guild and after last nights defense of some key objects I was highly impressed by their coordination in getting their members to and from defenses.

The only time I see OG , after the first time we smashed their group, is running solo so can’t really comment on em. I do know AD isn’t a dueling guild, we’d be playing Tpvp if we were. We’ll use every advantage we can to win an engagement, while trying to keep our groups small. So I’m not really one to buy any of the " you’re not on our level" bravado. Everyone dies and everyone loses, it comes naturally when you don’t shy from many engagements. It’s a general rule I think just about every roaming group knows. Die and learn from it, try something new the next time around. I learned long ago in Daoc, that being graceful in defeat and humble in victory opens more doors than elitism. No one remembers the loud mouths when reminiscing on old enemies from a prior game, but I’d bet everyone remembers the friendly rivalries between worthy groups.

So /shrug …. game on.

We mostly just play for fun, always good when we can get a group together, which is more and more rare and go out and see what we can get into. I have been having a blast overall but mostly when we’ve been able to go out as a guild and get into some trouble, thanks for all the fights.

I make probably 3-5 gold a day depending on my luck. I do however usually play a great deal of wvw, while this means I make more than the people who do not play as much it also means I spend a great deal more on upgrades and siege… I’m still not understanding how people have problems making money in wvw. I guess my server is just really nice with spreading the cost. Then my guild usually donates as they can for upgrade costs and I take out “sometimes” if the costs get up too much.

The one thing I notice about the people in this match up thread is , wow they can turn a simple point of view into a 4 paragraph post. Let it go kiddies.

Was fun all week, the drama going on that had very little to do with Mag was quite interesting. I look forward to another week of fun and fights, see you guys after reset.

Easily believable. There are other roamers around, however the roaming mindset usually drives them to go to enemy borderlands, where there’s more chance to run into the massive zergs and less chance to run into other roamers. That’s the way it goes :P

You talking about [OG]? The only guild I know of that has beat us without overwhelming numbers is [WaR].

We ran into OG twice, there was 5 of u and 6 of us each fight.

I only recall one fight with me there. It was at the ruins on the first night (iirc). One of your elems either came down after us or fell off the back side and we killed them quickly. We then portaled up and killed 3 more. I only recall four but I got there a little late.

The fight was over very quickly since you got hit offguard and were seperated. Pretty sure you were distracted by something else and we also outnumbered you. I didn’t see it as a clean fight so I deleted the footage.

I’m not really big into kittenswinging. What happens happens. Good groups are going to win some and lose some to other good groups.

Any group we “lose” to we would remember the guild tag, without evidence there is no point in even making a claim that you beat us. There is no guild that has beaten us in a straight 5v5 fight and this is because the only other group I would consider “good” would be AoN who are also on Maguuma.

So humble…

You guys are actually pretty mediocre. NAME has been doing WvWvW for a little over a week and I can recall many times where we have ganked you and your members. You guys are just looking for kills everywhere you go. This makes it extremely easy to bait your team around while making you forget about the real objectives of WvWvW.

In bunzy’s defense it does not seem like they ever knew what the real objectives were.

I love being double teamed by yak and mag, it just shows how much of a threat we are. I mean again, I understand you guys need the handicap because your servers skill average is below average, but you would think attacking each other would grant u more points at this point.

Borderlands are designed to encourage the two invaders to tag team the defenders (who have an absurd advantage).

Rest of the map all looks pretty standard. YB’s strategy in EB has always been to smash Red with numbers then move on to blue because it lets them leverage their numbers in the best way (as in, capture the red keep which essentially means you control red’s lands, much in the same way controlling SM means you—should—control the surrounding towers). Mag’s strategy has always been to stab Ebay in the back even if it hurts themselves in the long run.

So, really, nothing out of the ordinary in that picture.

I just seen thief take down a group of 4 people, first person is down on the first attack, he restealths, the chase is on, cast random ae’s, no luck. Stomps the downed person from stealth (great idea, stomping from stealth). 3 on 1 now, rinse and repeat 3 more times. I counted 6 attacks to my 1, he hit me 6 times from stealth, i got off ONE (1) attack before I was dead. I don’t care if we all suck as players, 1 should never beat 4. Just another reason that WvW is dying, just send 1-2 thieves to the spawn points, and gank people all day long. Ya a really balanced class.

Invulnerability stomping is just as bad as stealth stomping actually worse since someone could always knock you off while in stealth . Stealth stomping is only an issue in 1v1 or 1vbadplayers. I personally hate the mist form stomping more than any thief stealth stomp.

A good guardian will destroy a glass cannon warrior. I run CC hammer and I can go toe to toe with guardians.
