I would be good with some sort of dishonor system for multiple log outs while in combat, or afking out of game repeatedly… as long as it is not well it happened once you are blocked from wvw/spvp now.
The fight in tier 4 is pretty even. Come join us on Crystal Desert.
CD has the point lead by what 60k but the fight is pretty even, CD has zergs we have good teamwork… dh has some stuff too I’m sure ;P all kidding aside the fight at least is really fun.

I would not be opposed to something like a certain amount per designated time frame though, even if the number is small I am never leaving while in game randomly or leaving my pc and being kicked from game more than once or twice a night at the most. Just voicing my view on it all.
Logoffski is pitiful. Especially in this game with its minimal death penalties. I am all for making people stay in game for 10+ seconds after they log to avoid stuff like this. Maybe just in pvp so people don’t whine about it in pve? Either way though I’m all for it.
I had at least 25 people do this tonight, may have been less than that but more than once per who knows with this game … but !!!1 at least 25 times, I would be very happy with such an addition .
Sorry, I also have real life to consider…. some times I cannot help when and where I have to log out. I do understand the idea you are pushing though.

I really, really like a lot of the people on DH. And I love a few of the commanders. But I am sadly thinking of moving to Maguuma permently. Going to try to give DH one more week. But all these DH guilds are going to have to learn to work together better in WvW . While hopeful, doubt it will happen.
And you expect that to all change in just 1 week with our rapidly dwindling wvw player base? If you’re not part of the solution you’re part of the problem. And people switching servers just because they can is the problem.

When most people I talk to in person refer to prime time they are mostly talking say 7pm-1 or 2am ish. I am NA eastern time
I am about to log in and can check, but while it was worse over the weekend I have been experiencing it since the new content.
They will probably not add on par with ascended gear to wvw until they find a way to make it less of a zerg fest. I mean even though I spend 98% of my game time in wvw, the dungeons are more difficult if when you are in wvw you just follow the large zergs. I do still think wvw should have gear on par with the new stuff though.
A guild member and myself were on Crystal Desert map today fighting 6 players… after killing 5 players and my guild member going down in the process there was a warrior who ran off out of rendering sight as I was trying to escape from my current 600hp left state to finish the fight.. I was gone 10s and in that 10s everyone of the 5 players 4 completely dead and 1 I’m thinking may have just been downed were up.. me being a thief I got away and sent several emotes their way for kitten and giggles but there should be no downed but not dead state or the ressing should take longer or maybe once in a downed state you can only res yourself by being smart while down and evading detection. I would have won that 2v6 if it wasn’t for the downed state and the quickness of resses and I’m all butthurt boohoo.
The reason this will not work is, maguuma was up by 7k over darkhaven as of 2 hours ago when I logged… and down by 10 in potential to them. Let’s say a new server comes in and allies themselves with darkhaven, do you think it would be hard to push them over the 7k point difference with 2 servers?
The only thing that needs ‘changed’ at all is that the rendering issues need fixed.
^This. Thieves are fine, maybe a little OP but in most games stealth classes are harder to catch for a reason. We get the rendering issue set and I suspect there will be less QQ about theives.
The OP isn’t complaining about rendering though. He’s QQing about x/D builds and/or a D/P build that if traited for perma stealth does terrible damage and is only good at killing uplevled or bads and trolling supply camps.
Basically this. Sitting on the camp with 10 people, one thief blocks the capture for twenty minutes. We killed a number of Dolyaks, the group that came to try and push us off (twice), but we couldn’t get the capture bar past 1/5 because a single thief was able to permastealth and line of sight around buildings until the group finally gave up. It’s beyond stupid. The capture circle is large enough that you can’t smoke the thief out with AoEs, and any group of enough size to not get pushed off easy has so many targets for Cloak and Dagger that the thief doesn’t get caught. Even landing stuns isn’t enough.
lol every time I run into this kind of opponent who can’t fight but just loves to run around and hold nodes from switching, even when no back up is coming… I hope the nerd is listening to some really cool music and feeling “pro” about his toon while doing it, but they never survive more than 60s and if a thief solo is keeping you up that long in a group…. well I have some bad news for you . lol
So, we decided to try and protect our supply camp at Bluewater until some folks from the guild named One Man Riot from Maguuma decided to exploit a spot near the camp. They would attack, begin to lose, and when they were about to die, run to a spot near the hillside where they would crowd up and become invulnerable and continue to do damage to us. I just wanted to point out that these folks are cheaters and to let the community know.
Oh look, Crystal Desert is getting mad that they can’t spawn camp!
“Exploiting” by standing in a spot. Durrrrrrrr. We’ve also seen Darkhaven doing the same thing but instead of complaining we started chainpulling them out of it as soon as they left the zone.
Love pulling people out to a death they so desperately were trying to avoid.
I have a no stealth evade tank build ready to go for the day you QQers manage to get Anet to destroy the Thief class with a change like this. It’s so much easier than learning to combat the mechanic.
This is me, when the whiners finally get Anet to over kill a class they created I have a tanky super vit high condition dmg build and gear set that honestly when I use it people have more problems with me than when I play my burst or stealth builds. I also want people to ask themselves, would you rather lose to a thief fast or waste 5m of your time and then lose? I will be gloating when I waste 3 players time for 5m instead of killing them “sometimes” 1v3 in 1m.

I usually only finish players if I roll up on them while already in stealth. It is more fun to slap them with daggers or shoot at them with bow while they’re down!!
I for the most part just roam around with guild mates and take supply camps and pick on stragglers, as our numbers are not that of a zerg guild. I also have been having a blast holding towers against the CD zergs until we can’t anymore. Good fun this week, even though waking up each day and checking the score is a little shocking. I hope the fun continues throughout the week. I will also mention that after the first night, I have been on DH several different times. Yay for me? :P

I have been complaining to anyone who will listen lately that I got this game for it’s pvp focus as it was sold and hyped for the last couple of years. I also do not see that being the case so far. I hope this changes, and I would fully be behind the implementation of a wvwvw karma/badges vendor with ascended quality gear.

Just make the Commander title an end tier Art of War upgrade.

This idea is better than gold, but at the same time big guild more influence. This also does not mean the players know what they are doing. I also just think its humorous the only players in this game I have put on ignore so far are commanders.
Oh also 500 badges is way too cheap, I can get that in 2 days.
I just try to ignore all commanders until they have proven they are at least semi competent, YES this means I ignore 99% of all commanders forever but hey a-net wont listen and continues on with the pve commanders and credit card commanders.
You don’t have to follow/listen to Commanders you feel are bad.
Well that gets rid of 99% of the commanders I’ve seen. Good to know. lol
I think a switch of the buffs received from Orbs and Undermanned would do the trick. I also believe that the server hopping is the real issue.

Just by flipping objectives solo or larger ones with guild members killing mobs here and there and when fights aren’t do or die gather. I seem to make “really decent” money in wvw.. it just isn’t the same for the time spent as dungeon instances. I also spend my badges on blueprints instead of money. Hope this helps.

Rawr I hope some people take this chance to show their skills and our server population can go up a touch… always looking for good and fun players to join guild but wow lammy did you not promise them cookies?
bump for a good idea, also it will never happen… the majority of the teams dominating other teams near the middle/lower brackets suck with even numbers.
