Guild Wars 2

I want mounts as a vanity feature, much like the various armor/weapon skins/mini pets. I don’t particularly care if there’s a drastic movement speed increase, or an increase at all. But I want the option to hoard more stuff.

That said, a bit of a speed increase would be nice in WvW :c Nothing like dying and having to run across the entire map to regroup with whoever I’m running around with.

There are centaurs, so I’d imagine horses wouldn’t be a huge stretch for humans. Asura are honestly small enough to ride a moa if nothing else, but I think a golem of some sort would better suit the purpose. Norn could probably manage with Dolyaks. Charr build things probably just as often as asura at least, so they could no doubt come up with their own locomotive. Sylvari and oakhearts.

Other possibilities might stretch out and cover skale, drakes, bears, spiders. I mean, really, there are a lot of options if this were to be done right. And I think that if it were honestly a possibility, most players wouldn’t mind dropping a few gold on it if they DID bring you a more permanent speed boost, because you can rack up a pretty nice fee on waypoints anyways (unless you literally want to run everywhere… but come on.)

In regards to the post on Guru about it being out in Malchor’s Leap, it was. I’d been running through and saw it, and decided that I was just going to get it later since I finally knew where it was.

But I went back this afternoon and it’s nowhere to be found. It’s the Tactical set now, but I couldn’t even begin to tell you why it changed. I just know it was there, and I really wish I’d gotten it the first time around. Musical armor skins isn’t a fun game to play :(

So uh I really like Bifrost. Like, love it. A ton. I’d use it on an ele, guardian, necro, whatever. Maybe it’s just because I dig mythology, but whatever.

Is there proof anywhere that everything can be done better by any other class? My ele is nice support, even when specced solely for aoe damage. It’s also able to hold aggro and not get entirely demolished.

But as has been said, a lot of the ability comes from the player. It isn’t fair to drag the whole class down because a lot of people can’t play it as well as they’d like.

What are you running in SPVP (I assume it’s that and not WvW anyways because it’d be silly to even complain about that) that’s getting you rocked? You probably should check out a few other builds, because the one I’m running right now is pretty nice.

I’m assuming this is where this goes. As much as I’d like to read through all the posts and make sure this hasn’t been given some sort of manual fix or something, 17 pages is a lot, haha.

Anyways, I’d had issues with representing guilds and guild-related NPCs acknowledging that I was in them, but now that’s all fixed. Unfortunately, I can’t join any guilds now. I’m in three, but I know I can be in at least one more because I just left one that nobody ever represented. That said, there’s an invite waiting for me that I’d really like to accept.

I’m playing on Sorrow’s Furance, and the one guild I’m wanting to accept the invite for is Into The Mists. Not sure that it’ll be important to know the guild name specifically since I can’t accept any of the invites at all, but if you can only fix one I hope it’s that one xD

Digging my ele. Wouldn’t switch it out for any other class as my main. I’m pumped to get some better gear so I have more than, like, 12k hp (still wearing a few, like, ~30ish pieces of gear at 80 >.> Whoops) so I can switch back to daggers and worry a little less about getting two shot haha.

But staff works for now.
