I’m waiting on an answer to this too….
Just adding my two cents, to say that it WOULD be nice if AN communicated more with the community in general. It would be really good to know exactly what they’re currently working on and what plans they have for the game, and I’d like to hear some of their reasoning behind some of the changes they make to the game, why they did this and that. I think that might go a long way towards mitigating the popular perception that they often slap together “fixes” in a rather haphazard manner. Even just quicker posted and more informative patch notes would be a beginning. I can honestly say that I don’t think I’ve ever played an MMO that seems so cavalier about patch notes. They’ll typically make mention of one or two changes they made, while in reality they made a dozen.
Yeah, I don’t think it’s really an “every class is different and you can’t have everything” kind of argument. I just don’t want to have to keep spending a significant amount of my time chasing after blue dots on the map, trying to get to where people and events are going on. And “blink” is NOT the answer.
It would be nice! I just recently got rid of all my centaur runes because I concluded it was ridiculous that I should have to spec 6 runes just to keep up with folk in wvw, figured I’d just reconcile myself again to playing constant catch-up. Now that they’re gone, though, I’m realizing that it might be worth it to have all my other stats suffer again just to get the speed back. The reality of having to once again run after people all the time is a lot worse than my memory of it.
I don’t know, I hear the arguments from both sides, but all I’m gonna say is I sure wish I didn’t have to gimp myself to keep up with people.
For the sake of Guardians, Rangers, Necromancers, Elementalists, i call upon the ancient curse of split PVE and PVP skills!
Why not? It’s what Rift does. Some skills work better when you’re doing one or the other.
