Look, cooperate with support is not only put a happy face.
I seand it diags, i send it gameadvisor, i sendit the result of Heaven Benchmark with highest graphic options, i have all my drivers update,.
What suggest what i can do to be more cooperative ?
i cant cooperate more with support, now is time that they answer.

I wait patiently 4 days when the issue start after the patch update, no a issue with my drivers, hardware etc., the only thing that change in my computer is the GW2 version… and you know what is the answer of support in this forum by the past days ?

We havent a little info about the issue of the last patch, in the “low fps post”
How are we coopearte with support if they dont cooperate with us ? How are we wait patiently when they dont give us info about the issue ? How i know that they are working on it or simple let it be when they just simple ignore the user fps post ?
If they take time put a solution say it to make the commuinity relax a little, not ignore the issue, and you know, i worked in Dell tech support, and i know how work a tech support, and when are dont give a answer for days or a update of the issue normally mean a “bad thing”, and that is why im worried.

Im waiting for a anwer 4 days and nothing, im following arena.net post of past days and nobody is answering fps post issues.
And the element that change was the game with a update patch, before update game run fine, after patch run awful and im not the only one.
They have the issue, im tired of update all, send diags, when the game fail was becuase their updates.
What do you suggest? Wait happy some weeks seeing the forum while arena.net still ignore the fps post issues and cant play to a game that i paid 130€?
If the patch wass the issue, revert the update, is simple, and after this continue searching the fps issues, dont put a update, mess the game, left it and ignore fps post issues.

Yeah i just love how arena.net are answering post right now and ignoring the ones with FPS issues since last patch.
If tomorrow when i wake up there are no eplication or a new patch to fix it arena.net reputation in tech and commuinity support to me is over, and is sad after 7 years playing GW1.
To me since last patch the game run almost half of fps that 2-3 days ago.
Btw when will you learn that packing hundreds of people together in one server in the same area fighting each other creates lag,and your fps Will drop,no matter what game you’re playing.Gw2 does a pretty fine job tbh espec in wvwvw the lowest fps i get is 26,and thats when assaulting or defending,everything still maxed out.
Solution ? DO NOT pack hundreds of people in the same area. Plain and simple. The tech is not there yet.

Tech is there, not everyone can afford it. And for what it’s worth, GW2 DOES do a decent job at handling all this considering it JUST released and is still being tweaked to yield the best results.
Sorry but still being twekead or “tech hardware of the users” is not a excuse when the perfomance of the game is worse after a patch, with yesterday patch to me the game run almost half of fps that 3 days ago( 40-60fps alone or in small groups to 15-35), and many people go down from 50-60fps to 10fps.
The minium requeriments are a joke, and belive me with my PC i wouldnt have to worry for requeriments to play smothly if they were true.

Sorry but im starting to get angry, the perfomance is a joke since BWE1, more 4 months ago , and with the patchs they improve to many people, to others simple they mess it, after last patch to me they mess it again and the game run worse than ever, and what i get mor angry is the lack of the info by arena.net.
They patch the game, they mess it , they dont tell anything, many players with same issues after 2 days with many parts unplayable when before we just play fine, no great but fine, and no answer or nothing about what they did, no ETA only, "we are working " each some days, but the game just dont run better, run worse.
I paid 130€ for a game that with that requeriments they shown, i should play great, i waited without tell anything in the BWE because we were still in beta, but now, after 2 weeks of the launch, that the game run worse after a patch, dont fix it laterand dont say anything in the forum just get me angry.
I just beg for a " Well we have some issues with last patch…." or “We are revert last patch …..” or “The issues are cuaused by xxxx and we are working to repair in X days until now revert the last patch” etc… s
Some info explication, no dissapear few days after a mess and just simple ignore the community.

Same here, before the patch i had 40-60 fps alone or small groups, 15-35 in big gropus and dragons and WvWvW unplayable.
Now i have alone or ins mall groups 15-35, big groups 10-15fps and dragon or WvWvW no comments.
The " minimum requeriments " make me laugh, yeah minmum if you want to play low at 10 fps.
Well i just wake up to see if there some update to fix the mess of yesterday patch with my fps and nothing, check forum to see some explication of arena.net, nothing.
I still with 15-35 fps when im alone , almost the half what i had 2 days ago in the same zones after 12/9 patch.
If at least change the game to lowest graphics change something like a temporal fix until arena.net change it back and play smooth but de difference to me at High→Low is 3-4 fps.
Where arena.net shinning, design , art, story, gameplay lack in technical and hardware support, we still have the same fps issues after 4 months of BWE and after the mess yesterday patch im start growing tired.
Here’s your real issues:
1. Dual cores are not very good for this game. Too CPU-dependant, hopefully this is fixed sooner than later though. If you have only 2 cores drop shadows to None.
2. 4GB of RAM leaves roughly 2GB or less for the game. Not enough. Game uses 1.5gb+ pretty consistently, if you have pretty much anything else running you will run out of memory. You might still even with nothing else running.
3. 4870, noticeably slower than my 4890, and that could barely handle the game. Time to upgrade man, those cards are over 4 years old. We are 3 generations beyond the 4xxx series now. And if your 4870 isn’t even the 1GB model then you’re just going to be SOL performance-wise (goes back to the “time to upgrade your card” bit). Modern day games use well over 512mb VRAM.1. Correct – 4 cores is basically mandatory if you want 30+fps at all times.
2. Incorrect – I have 4GB ram (Win7 64b) and I generally have about 800MB to 1GB to spare after hours of WvW. Windows 7 occupies about a GB outside of game.
3. Not sure – But my 5870 is a beast for everything accept the most intense WvW at 1080p. I reckon the 4870 is about 20% less performance, not great, but not pitiful.
Furthemore im not begging for all 60fps in WvWvW, at least i want the perfomance that i had until today, i lost half of my fps in some zones, and where before i could play at 30fps just fine now is unplayable.
Is not, “im just buy the game and suprirse low fps…” , now, i have the game since headstart and until yesterday patch the game run much smother to me. And seeing the post im not the only one, this isnt a hardware issue, if the game just rune fine until yesterday patch.
I just want a answer of arena.net to know what they done, i paid 150€ for a CE and that the game run much worse in less a day and not give a explication what they done just annoying me.

For those of you that tired to use the -perfdebug command last night, can you confirm that the .dat file that should be found in the profiles folder is not there for me please.
I just try -perfdebug command and i dont have any “profiles” folders in my GW2 folder.
Plz fix the yesterday patch, to me the game in small groups runs great but now the perfomance is poor and WvWvW and Dragons are unplayable, before at least i could get 10-15 fps in these, but now 5 fps at max.
After today path the game run worst to me, when i played alone or in small groups i can get 40-60fps and with big grups 20-40 in High, WvWvW or dragons unplayable but well, the rest is ok.
But now when im alone or small gropus 15-35 FPS, and now big groups unplayable, dragons no comment, great job arena.net -_- , we are going backwards.
And of course change to the highest graphics to lowest only change 3-4 fps at max.

Ati 4870 HD with 12,6 CCCI call BS dude =P. I had a 3.6ghz Core 2 Quad (Q9400 @ 450fsb) with a 4890 1GB (also OC’d) and 8GB DDR2 before I upgraded my vid card for this game (hahaha), and did not EVER get anywhere close to 60 fps in group combat, let alone solo questing. Staring at the ground, maybe.
Here’s your real issues:

You call BS, I call real deal, the real perfomance between a 4870 and a 4890 is minimal, a E8400 true is a dual core, but is much better than many quadcore, or I5 in the market, more cores dont only made a CPU better, you know that a e8400 still sell around of 150$ -200$ ? .

Now right here i have 25 fps, what change in 1 day ?
Before at least i could play great alone or in small groups, but now is terrible.

To me the major issue is that change the graphic options dont change my perfomance nothing, it doesnt matter if i put the game in the lowest graphic, or the higher with high res texture etc…. I have always the same fps, they only slight change changing shadows.
Well in some parts just play well with 40 fps, but in Lion Arch dropped to 10-20fps and in Dragon Boss events is unplayable.
I dont have any issue running other games like skyrim, battlefield 3 etc.. in high at 40-60fps with no problems.
I dont beg for 40-60 fps in dragon events in high but is a shame change the quality to the lowest and still have 5-10fps when playing battefliend 3 at mid-high with a lot of players at 40-60fps.
My thoughts is that the game is still too CPU bound, changing to lowest graphic the game look a lot worse than GW1 in High and only , and i can play GW1 at 180 fps.
