A suggestion to put some Healing Power set in back and ring ascend items, seriulsy i dont know why arena.net put some Healing Power set in these like Cleric, Shaman on these.

Is just awful our the players who like play support roles, dont have a support back slot or ring furthemore after seeing that many stat are repeated 2 or 3 times, why have 2-3 sets with same stats when are many lack of other stats.

I know that arena.net dotn want dedicated healer, but now the way is try to erase the support roles ? I just have to wait and dont update my equipament if i want play support or put some random Ascended items who make worse my build only to get +5 agony resistance ?

T6 materials are through the roof. Please help.

And now thx to the new Ascended recipe T6 fang above of 20S and the other are up.

Seriulsy i dont know that arena.net economist are thinking, put all the new ascended recipes with T6 mats again, and furthemor 250!!

Too many T6 recipes with huge number and too little places to farm it and with a loooow drop, the demand is to high, and the prices are absourdly high.

They put ascend items becaue the exotic now are to easy to get, but now the T6 mats are too expensive to craft exotic armors, and thx to this the legendary prices now are prohibitibe, the fangs cost 40 copper 3 week ago, i know that this is too low but now 2X silver ??? The claws 1-2S to 7-10s , blood almost 30s, totems almost 20s, Scalls 20s.

There are too many recipes and little places to farm T6 mat to stop this huge demand and little offer, and the nerf of farm places, DR events etc.. dont help, and the awful yellow/exotic drop dont help.

Is sand but now the only way to get enough money is speculation ( buy fangs 250 2 weeks ago sell now win 80 gold , blood 70 gold etc..) ,, and our actual economy is a good example how bad is a economy based in speculation.

GW1 had a lot of grind, but always option for skins, but now with T6 mats the GW2 grind feel a “must grind”, i dont talking about legendaries or rare skins, im talking to craft Exotic items, or the new Ascended Items in the mystic forge what are no an option after seen the high lvl of Fractals.

I was playing GW1 since almost 8 years , and i grind a lot, i have my 30 titles, many FOW etc… but i grind for the skins and titles what i want, withour preosupre, but now in GW2 since the new vertical threadmille, the high T6 prices i just feel obligate to grind if i dont want stand behind before they put new Ascended armor or weapons, is a WoW dangerous feeling that i dont want in a GW game.

Yeah this Update is awful, the dungeon is fun but the new Ascended items and the new Threadmille route is awful , this is nothing like GW.

And now the event are almost bug, the update put a lot of bug in dungeons ( i just cant comlete Path1 of COE today for a bug in the Ice Giant ) and the new zone is only kill karka.

It could sound fanboyish but my most wish in my 8 years GW player is that they left the dungeon and rollback all the update and new items and never never never put it in the game but i know is impossible.

I just checked the New Back items and neither one have Healing Power, 0 new items with healing power.

Seriusly arena.net , you just want people play support or what ? Ok with no healer class,but now just put stats in Ascended items to all game type but no Healing Power to support build.

I would be happy to have a answer if ascended items with Healing power are planned or not but i have no hopes since this patch.

Grind to the end in the new dungeon, the T6 material thx now to the new Back items are in sky ( now the fangs are 20 silver and above too ). Its not only if you dont want a ascended item but now craft something with T6 mats ( armor, weapons legendary etc…) is prhoibited, the only way to make money is speculating.

Farm and events nerf to DR, the new “yellow/exotic” drop is awful, the T6 mats drop worse, and now the item/mat price is toooooo big, the only way to win money is speculate that only kitten more the game economy.

I put a similar post in craftin forum , the Ascend Ring need more variation in stats, lot of the rings have the same stat, and a LOT with critical damage, but neither one have Healing Power to support characters, the only one is the jack all trade with all stats.

To me the issue here is what if i want go to support build with my Guardian or other character i prefer my old Cleric Ring/Jewels, and i have to change this only for the Agony Resistance but in stats i prefer the old exotic items.

I think we need more diferent stats with the rings, change some that are repeat , we have 2 o 3 with Pw, Pr and CritDamage and Pw,Th and crit damage., but neither with healing power.

To me the lack of different stats is huge, a lot of them have critic damage, a lot but, neither have Healing Power how principal or secondary stat, the only one is the “all stat in one”

Seriusly, a lot of new rings and neither one with healing power to a support character ? I only have to change my exotic rings for the resistance of Agony ? because i prefer my old Healing Power, Power, Thoughtness rings with my Guaridan.

I expect if arena.net can anser if there are more hidden rings or put mor stats because the lack of Ascender rings to support character is overhelming.

Left 2 days to the update

Will arena.net listen the feedback of the comunity and have the guts to delay the update to delete the ascend items ?

Will arena.net go for all , launch the update, betray the community, lost the trust of their consumer with lies only for dont stop a update ?

I dont care wait 2-3 weeks if they launch the update with exotic rewards and improve the reward of the old dungeons, and what i say reward i dont say new tier items, i say no more “3 blues” in chests etc…

Arena.net after read this entiere post this update could have 2 ends, kill the game to the core community and say goodbye to GW saga and the trust of your community, or stop this now, rethink what are you doing, make your ideas clear and tell all details to the comunity before to launch such major change to the game.

My bet, arena.net dont care for the core community, continue the update, bye bye GW2 and is sad after almost 8 years playing GW1 and 5 years waiting the game, kill the game betraying your own philosophy.

Im still waiting for some answer of Linsey Murdock to explain where she gatherer the feedback to made this, and Colin Johanson and Mike O´brian to apalogoize for all lies.

This is not gonna happen, they will let this post die these days they launch the update and ingore their community.

This week is a sad week to all GW core fans.

My question now is if Lindesy Murdock will face the community here after the mess that she is planning or she will hide behind her desk.

Im still try to understand how someone who work in arena.net since GW1 dont check with the community the idea of put item progresion in a GW game before mess it.

Worst idea ever, and if Linsey , a developer or a CM behind these idea you are reading these you should feel proud, this is the worst worst worst idea behind the GW saga after 8 years.

Since 1 BWE and 700 hour played to GW2.

2 lvl 80 with each one 2 exotic set, in path to my first legendary.

Yeah im no nervous,im angry to see a great philosophy who mantain the GW saga almost 8 years throw to garbage, and furthemore after repeat and repeat that the gear will follow the same horizontal progresion of GW1, all lies.

Why i should trust in arena.net to buy the first expansion or still playing the game ?

The only thing that arena.net should do the dungeons is improve the mechanic to make it funnier, improve the rerward more yellows/exotic no 3 blues in each chest, lodestones, unique skins in the chest like GW1 or better chance to get a Prechursor.

But no, they will give us something that the most of community didnt want and a great reason why people buy this game like people did with GW1, no vertical progression.

Not only betray the new costumers with lies, you betray your core GW1 community to catch some “WoW community”, and i tell you something, the old WoW community will not comeback and you will lose your core community.

And the lack of pvp like GvG , AH etc… dont help.

Yeah, now, but in the blog post Lindsey say that this is only the beggining to the item progression, and furthemore these items give new a new stat to counter the Agony, the new condition of the dungeon.

Now we have rings and blackslot, next we will have weapons and armor… if this is the beggining What next, new tier of new infused armor to counter another condition in new dungeon ? Futhemore these items will get in the new dungeon

What is the diferencce to a grind system, i gear to make the new dungeon stack a better tier and infusions to counter agony…next patch the same with another dungeron and new conditon…and again and again.

What happen to the old dungeons, items etc… all useless to the new dungeons, its not only the stat, is the lack of infusions to counter agony, and if this is like Mursaat agony when you dont have the infused armor they will kick your kitten so hard, but the infused armor in GW1 is given to you in a story mission, not grinding.

I played GW1 for almost 8 years sin prophecies beta and more 6000 hours ., i have all my character with FOWS, 30 titles, get al skins that i have, pvp, dungeon without have to grind, only fun and strategy, etc….and never never was necesary a upgrade of stats, and they promised that GW2 will follow the same path.

In less of 3 months they throw all this to garbage, well you cand understand that im not happy, and if they change in alredy 3 months, why i have to belive that they dont change other “gamplay core” like the comeback of trinity etc…

If you look back in this forum history this 2 months, almost half of the topics were touching this. If you go to forum like ign and others talking about gw2, you see as much feedbacks about this too.

Many dedicated players leave the game because of the anti-progression and punishing dedicated players. I’m sure they have their database records of players and know when and how they quit. It’s kinda obvious that there’s no goals for exotic players left. The ascended gears is a good addition.

Read this, it said the truth.

“As we watch Guild Wars 2 mature in its Live environment, we have found that our most dedicated players were achieving their set of Exotic gear and hitting “the Legendary wall.” We designed the process of getting Legendary gear to be a long term goal, but players were ready to start on that path much sooner than we expected and were becoming frustrated with a lack of personal progression.”

And now they will get feedback of the people losing interest and leaving because they were interested in a game where there was no rush to get exotics or legendary items since they would remain the same for lots of time and personal progression was obtained by a better knowledge of the game, including by playing different builds (that require different armor/weapon sets) and different professions.

No personal progression is having a main and grinding the new item tier. And then the next item tier.

I wonder why people think there’s a rush to get higher tier equipments in gw2.
The game still live up to it’s philosophy.

Their philosophy:
They already said that they want you to avoid grinding to reach content X/Y/Z right? In traditional mmo, they force you to grind. In gw2, they do not. You are not forced to acquire ascended equipments to experience 100% of the fun content the game has to offer. In fact, you can experience all 100% fun content in this game even with a white-tier equipment. I see some WvWvW players wearing blue-tiers. Grinding for rewards are just a bonus for dedicated players – and they need real rewards for the source of motivation.

GW2: Ascended gears are just another tier. It’s not a requirement to have it to experience any future new content X/Y/Z. You can have fun in-game content and dungeons with any tier equipments. They don’t force you to grind. You can explore the entire game content with white-tier equipments.

Traditional MMO: Better gears are needed to experience new contents and raids. Those gears are a mandatory requirement to reap the fun of the the new content X/Y/Z. They force you to grind just to play the game.

GW2 is already a game of it’s own.
They’re already very different from any traditional mmo even with better stat eqs.

Lindesy Murdock dont share the same thought:

As we release more new end game content in the future, you’ll see more Infusions and Ascended item types being added to the game. Eventually, you’ll be able to kit yourself out with a full set of Ascended gear and high end Infusions to help give you the edge in end game content.

Well the damage is done, in less 3 months arena.net betray his community and his own word, 7 years of a good philosophy and reputation throw to garbage, now to most of community arena.net is a liying company.

I was playing GW since the beta weekend events of Prophecies, almost 8 years and more of 6000 hour of play, and never, never feel so much betrayed for the company who give me so much hour of fun.

Now first my question is, ¿ will have arena.net the guts to, sit in a meeting, check that they are doing wrong and cancel this “ascend items” update and repay his reputation ? I dont think so, they want the “WoW community” back, but my thought is they will not comeback, and much of the GW1 core community will say goodbye to the game.

My second question is "Will Lindesy Murdock have the guts to face of the community ? She is behind that the major mess update of the GW history, doing something that the community dont want and throwing away all the spirit of GW saga and the ideas behind the “horizontal progresion”.
How she can make a such update to the principal core game without check before with the community ? GW2 need much improvement but not here, we ned more pvp mods, fix bug , balance class, funniest dungeon, improve the way to get precursor, or better rewands in dungeon ( but not in form of threadmill ).

Now the only thing that i see is community cordintaros close pos saying " Thx for your feedback", but not a word of a developer or Lindesy explain where the hell she get the feedback to make such change.

There still left 3 days to the update, think well what are you doing arena.net and if you are a little clever, make the new items “exotic items”.

STOP THE SNOWBALL BEFORE START TO ROLLING, BECAUSE WHEN IT START WILL BE UNSTOPPABLE.

Well after waiting about 8 hours to a answer by arena.net, im goint to sleep ( 4:00 AM in spain ).

I wish when i wake up the blog post is already posted and that the ascend items would be forgotten in the deeps of the Mist or at least that they were only to backslot.

I would like to know if the delay with the blog post is caused by arena.net panicking about the response of the community( is obvius that this will gonna happen ) , and hope that the responsible of that “abomination/idea” could explain where he/she get the feedback about that the community want more powerful items and morph GW in a threadmile game.

That’s because the PR department is trying to figure out a way to spin this as not to cause more rage.

This will be easy, delete Ascends and there it is.

In my guild at least the rage is at max level, 80% of us are from GW1, and they are wishing that the Ascends items are only to backslot but if they are a new tier item arena.net is betraying their core, community and the GW spirit, some are from PVP and after the dissapoint of GW2 PVP and now this many are thinking in quit the game to go LoL or Dota2.

I only wish that arena.net is rethinking what they are doing before put more oil to the flame.

Im not a community manager but after 3 months reading the feedback of the Official forum and guru the wishes of the commuinty was:

-Fix Bug
-Improve the CPU/GPU perfomance
-Balance Classes
-More PVP modes, conquest is boring.
-Guild House, PVP watch mode, and ladder system.
-Improve the MECHANIC rewards ( but no new tier item give more yellow, exclusive exotic from chest like GW1, improve lodestone drop )of actual dungeons and add more.
-Check Precursor prices and the way to get it

Feedback about get another tier of items, only few post, and fast answer for the rest of community like a dissapoint choice.

What is first thing that arena.net give us, new tier item after only 3 months and Gear Trheadmile -_-

I just hope that the magazinesa are all wrong and the new Ascend items are only to backslot, but right now in my guild Nexon is the most hated guy in GW2 history, we want GW no GW:Maple.

Not going to read 25 pages so if this is a rehash oh well.
I seem to recall Anet saying something along the lines of legendary comparable armors coming out sometime after release. Exotic is not the top tier for weapons, legendary is. So releasing this new armor is nothing more then them doing exactly what they planned in the first place. A tier above Exotic and on par with Legendary is not cause for freaking out.

Again……. Exotic and Legendary Weapons, have exact the SAME stats, there are not more powerful, only change the skin.

This not, there is the difference.

GW1 last 7 years with a great horizontal PVE and great PVP

GW2 after 2 months have alredy gear threadmill, and only 1 pvp mode.

What is arena.net thinking, they walk back wards or like?

Seriulsy if Nexon is the responsible here is time that he understand that this is a GW game not a Maple.

The community is happy with the gear horizontal here, only beg for more pvp modes , no more conquest and funniest dungeon and zones.

What we have, more conquest, no new pvp mode, and gearthreadmill…………….great…………., what is the next step ? mounts ? gear progression in pvp ? classic exclamation quest ?

I see easy 6 expansions for the game.

1.-Pre Cantha – New Islands, Fire Ring , MR. Bubbles ( Water Dragon ) firsts Cantha Zones.

2.- Cantha expansion with the new Emperor.

3.- Pre Elona- Crystal Dessert, Kralkkatorrik first Elona Zones

4.- Elona with Palawa Joko

5.- Tyria with North shiverpeak with Jormag north ascalon with the Legion flame citadel.

6.- Tyria with Maguma, underground world and Primordus.

Of course the order could be other.

Map completion and no gifts of exploration

I just complete the map at 100% all interst point, route, views etc….and they give me the reward for complete the last zone, but no for the most important, the 100% Map chest with my Exploration Gifts.

The map is complete atl 100% and they give me the title but no Exploration Gift, i would like help to fix.

Edit: I just fixed after reading some solutions here, come back to whisper cathedral ( i alredy had explored ) and go back to the last interset point, work for me, but is a great bug, i expect a fix soon.

gree all, today i can see the preview of the predator in my asura engineer and compared when is weilding by a Human is tooooooo small. When is wealding by a human is a big riffle, not the bigest ( chaarzuka ) but is pretty big and detailed, but in the asura is super small and is hard to see the details in the tubes and the lion head.

Yeah but there are more traits than reduce the CD that dont affect “toss elixirs”, like more 20% Elixir duration.

Then make the Fire Triggered 20% CD with another beneficial effect to FlameThrower Only, and use the Elixir traits work with Elixir gun, futhemor the Elixir trait should work with “toss elixir” too.

First all i put this same post in the Engineer forum but i dont now if it would be faster put it here.
Well new bug trait for Engineer , the Fireforged Triggre reduce the recharge of Flamethrower and Elixir Gun 20%.

Well , with at least the Elixir Gun dont work, without the trait Super Elixir recharge in 20 seconds ,and until now Super Elixir with FireForged Trigger recharges in 16 second, but now when you use it, the recharge start in 16 second , good for now, but when left 14 seconds the recharge back up to 20 second doing 22 second recharge with the trait.

The today patch note said “Fixed counts for Halloween achievements”

But i already have complete the “Mission 1 of scavenger” , “Pumpking Carving” and nothing, in the general Achivement of Mad King and Event complete have 0 complete.

The events are only the event doors or something ?

Only things that we alredy knew, the only new info is about the rewards.

-No word about balance
-No word about new maps

And most important, no word about new modes.

Normally i enjoyed more PVE than PVP in GW1 but a lot of my friends who played GvG and AH a lot ( ranks 12 in AH and top 100 in GvG 4 years ago ) are totally dissapointed with GW2 pvp, yeah is fun the first days but that all, it have nothing with great GW1 pvp, and the lack of modes ( really only 1 mode pvp in a GW game ?? ) and maps dont help.

They had hope in the article to see new modes similar to AH or GvG or at least TA but nothing, there are two quote that they repeat a lot.

“GW1 had a great “Player vs Player”, GW2 have a good “Players vs CaptureBase”

You had a fantastic PVP in GW1 with great and original modes that made the game popular, how arena.net could mess with this ?

You only had to add new modes like conquest and hotjoin to help the new pvp players to play until they try competitive modes, and work hard to adapt the new “no healer system game”.

if you want add the conquest mode, well add it, but dont throw the garbagge the great PVP modes who made GW1 a great game.

Hot Join TA, Hot Join AH, Hot Join GvG, Hot Join Conquest.

All of this without ranked and with less Glory reward to adapt new players to PVP or if you want play a “relax game”.

Structured TA, AH, GvG, Conquest

The same old modes with ranked, more rewards etc…..

And after this balance the game like GW1 and add new maps and modes if you like, but dont erase all GW1 pvp modes, put only a conquest mode with 4 maps and expect the PVP fanbase to be happy after a few weeks, when in GW1 launch we had 3 PVP modes with a lot of differnt maps, and now we have “this”……

I love the engineer but there are many things that i would change.

1.- Rifle skills with very short range when the warriors ones are long range, and hip shoting with all skills, i would like a aim position with the legendary rifle, its a shame, a rifle redesing is needed, pistol and shield are fin to me.

I remember the article words in the engineer spotlight about dont stay close to enemies, but now almost our weapons/kits are mid-short range.

2.- No auto-target/attack with granades, my Naga button 1 its gonna explode.

3.- A lot of traits dont work with kits or “lie” in the description, Elixir Gun dont work with elixir traits, many traits dont work with tool skill versions,explosion traits ( vulnerability or 10% damage ) only work with bomb, granade and mines, and no with other explosion skills like Flame Blast, Explosive Shot, Rocket Turret ( charged or not ) and many more…..

4.- The lack of sigils and weapons stat in Kits, this would be my priority change if would arena.net developer.

5.- Flametrhower Smoke Vent, plain and boring and dont too good with 20 sec CD, i miss the old one.

6.- Turrets are too weak and have too much CD, in PVE and dynamic events where we are moving a lot are almost usseles, only in DE where we have to defend somethhing are fine but not great. In dungeons are 1 hit shot, dont matter if they are traited with 30% reduce damage, and in PVP , WvWvW they are usseles.

7.- I know that we have kits and Tool kit but a melee weapon like Hammer would be great,

8.- Toolkit is really bad right now, the turret heal is really low and the lack of resitance of these dont help, and the damage in PVE is not great, if you put full critic is meh if you look warriors, guardians, thiefs, GS rangers etc…, andthe risk of wear dont compensate the damage.

9.- Elixir are too random, i know that Jon Peters like this but is not fun, is not competitive, is not excite have the elexiri effect that you want each 1/3 times, and with the toss version is worse, when i toss a elixir H to protect my team with Regeneratin/protection they gain endurance, when i want put a barrier with elixir S they gain stealth , etc…. and this with all elixirs.

Sorry Jon but i dont care that you like the randomness, when almost all engineer players dont like it and furthemor is not useful , the feel of throw a elixir only have the effect that you want 1/3 times, and wait for a long CD again is awful and boring, not exciting, is better go back and dont continue defending this .

10.-Belt skills have too much CD or are weak, kits belt skill are fine like bomb, granade, or Super Elixir but the rest are meh, and toss elixir will need a improve, if normal elixir are too random, toss version are awful, long CDs and they do that you want only 1/3 of times.

11.- Elites need a improving, Supply Crate is fine, Mortar is only useful in WvWvW , and Elixir X is a lazy skill, have a random elite skill of other class is not my idea of a great elite when we have only 3 for each class, Tornado skill at least is fun but Rampage dont fit with engineer, make Elixir X a good and unique Elite.

I just tested the FT gear to PVE/Dungeons in PVP lobby with the same trait build (10 Explosives/30 Firearms /30 Alchemy) but with 2 diffent gear always vs Medium Golem and FlameLegion runes:

Power, Condition Damge, Vitality Amulet:

Well the FlameJet is about 1800-2100 medium damage, generally more close about 1900, the burns ticks hit about 690 and the bleeding about 112 each tick. The % crit is about 18%, with this i cant do perma burn and the bleeding stack is only 1 tick, sometimes 2, the Vulnerability tick is about 1 too but not perma.

Power, Precission, Vitality Amulet:

The FlameJet is about 1900-2400 damage, more close about 2200-2300, the % crit is about 48% the burn damage is 467 but i can make it almost perma, the bleed ticks hit about 67 each damage only but i can reach 3-4 charges before the golem dies, same with vulnerabilty, i can get 3-4 charges before the Golem dies, i think that is better 3-4 charges of bleeding with 67 damage that 1 with 112, and the vulnerability give more damage to me and my party. Futhemore the Flame Blast hit harder, but the Napalm burn no.

I think that i will go for Power and Precision, more autoattack damge, more Flame Blast damage, less condition in each tick damage but i can put more bleed and vulnerability ticks wich mean more bleed damage in pve and more damage to my allies, i have less burn damage but i can make it almost perma damage without put traits in 20% burn duration.

In PVE there are no armor with Power, Precision and Vitality, but the Knight Armor use Thougthness instead of vitality but is fine to me.

I would love see the test result of more people, so you are welcome

I have leatherworking at 400, the only that who i can make with Healing Power ( Cleric Enblazoned ) have Healing Power, Power, Tougthness .

Hi, first all sorry for my English.

Im searching armor Exotic Level 80 armor for my Asura Engineer with Healing Power, Condition Damage and Vitality/Toughtness to use with a Elixir-Gun build.

I dont care for the skin, i will transmute with the Cultulra 3 armor when i get it.

I was searching in dungeon sellers, craft etc… and the only who i found is the Cadeceus Mansion set but is lvl 70 ( its a pitty that the 2 first set wont be lvl 80 ).

The only armor that i found with Healing Power use preccision or power, but nothing about condition damage+ vitality/Toughtness, somebody know one armor with this stats ?

I cant test it right now, but the thing is that i remember that traited elixir dont affect to Tool Bet elixirs, who is terrible to me, like elixir trits dont affet to elixir skills of Elixir gun.

Someone to confirm the traits with toss elixirs?

Please make kits 'weapons', not bundles.

I love get weapons and upgrades for each build, and the lack of sigil or stats with kits feels terrible to me.

I loved when they show the engineer they said is a multi-tak class with great pre-planification gameplay, but now only with rifles, pistol and shield without stat affect kit i feel that onlly have to get 1 weapon.

And if that you add only 1 skin to each weapon kit but feels that if you like collect weapons to different builds…..

I dont mind that the kits still work like a utility skill, but it would be great that at least the weapons stats/sigils will affect them, or that you can have more skins to get, buying for karma, gold or drop.

I feel sad when im talkign with my friends and they tell things like " hey we have go to X dungeon to get X weapons " etc….. they have a lot of different weapons ( stats and skin ) to get, and we like using kits we lacked skins, stats and sigils. Its feel like a punishment only for using my skills system class.

Engineer is my favourite class but if the “issues” with kits, and the randomness of Elixir continues ( want to buff allies -> toss elixir-> have a totally different build-> Wait long CD-> problem :trollface: ??? ) , i think that is the only support who cant have a steady way to buff allyes, only toss elixirs with 1 boon each one, long CDs and with a 66% chance that happen things that you dont want.

im thinking starting a Guardian, i always want a support multitask character like the Engineer and i love the design and the crazy tools , but the system class skills are ruinning, too randomness, lack of different gear to get, im just motivated righ now to get armors i dont care for the weapons when i have 1 rifle, 1 shield and 1 pistol.

First all this is no my idea but i agree totally, i see this post by Skyrant Kangaroomouse in “Dungeons Update” post, and will be sad let it drawn between all cry/rage post.

To me this would be a great method, it had a lot less grind, the dungeon can be a little harder/longer, about 40minutes-1 Hour each path, you have to complete all paths that is all that arena.net wants and at least you know that each time that you complete a dungeon in all 3 paths you will get a reward and feel a lot less grind.

Aditionally and this is my own idea to the people who want repeat the dungeon after complete a set i will add rare skin loot in the chests like UW/FOW or GW1 dungeons if the people want grind/repeat it.

Best post ever, totally agree, 1 armor/weapon each you complete the 3 paths, they can be hard but at least you are know that when you complete the 3 paths you will get a reward, after this put a couple of super rare weapon/armor skin in final chest like UW it the people what farm the dungeon more.

But have to make the same dungeon 10-20 times to get only a weapon/armor set with no extra reward , the value of loot items is poor, no exotic 80 with the only purpose to be destroyed to get a 1 ecto, and this if you can get one yellow/orange item. The money reward is joke if you compare with the repair/travell money.

Is worse than make 100 run in Underworld or FOE to get a Crystaline or Obsidian sword, at least in FOE and UW you get money with ecto and obsidians etc… but in these dungeon you only waste time.

My guild in gw1 we ussualy do dungeons/fow/UW each day but now we complete some story mode dungeons, try explorable mode, complete some 2-3 times each, and we stop. I only have complete story mode in 5 dungeons to unlock explorable mode and the reason that my guild give when talk to unlock the other dungeons.

" why ? , yeah they are fun the first time but no 50 times after, but lack of reward, we only lost money to repair gear to get 30-20 tokens of almost 2000, the only thing that they would get is that the players grow tired of dungeons when they get 1 set"

hello all, i have a question Guild Wars 2 is a WoW to have a good equipment we need to farm dungeons and raids? Unfortunately, the answer is yes. Why? Because we need to make dungeon 80 times to make full armor. Other cases the difficulty for example COF, this dungeon is now hard but we need the same number of tokens to do armor. I would like to dungeon was hard but armor can’t cost 1380 tokens. Fix it fast or i need to abandon this game just by grind dungeons. (sorry for my simple english)

No you dont have to farm dungeons, you can have the exotic max stats with Crafting, buying in AH, Karma, Mystic Forge, the Dungeons are mean to get rare skins, i alredy have 2 set by crafting.

I love how people who tell that CoF was the unique fun dungeon, no it isnt you think that is fun because is the only dungeon that you can farm fast, isnt fun, simple is easy and the people want easy things, if now CoF last 1 hour and Ascalonan Tombs last 15 minutes, AT woul be the favourite dungeon of people -_-.

Is true that they need improve the dungeon reward, but is funny how people want easy 20 minute dungeon run when is supossed to be the most diffcult thing to parties.

No is not, would be if he play in “High”, but in low he should have more perfomance, the issue right now that it doesnt matter if you put the game in low or high, the fps only change 3-4 fps.

People should learn that Minium Requeriments mean play at game in “low” with a good perfomance at least (40-60 fps ), the issue is that or the game is poor optimiced ( yes ) or thar arena.net lie with Minium Requeriments ( im starting think that yes too ).

Thats the CPU that GW2 need, and with this in low it should work at stable perfomance but low, that how minimum requeriments normally works in all games, people should learn that you dont have to have a i5-i7 to play a game with a 7 years old engine improved with good framerate.

If the game run bad is for the poor perfomance or that simple arena.net lies, choose either one, and if the game run like should run, arena.net need to change the " Minimum requeriments" because many people that dont follow the forums will bought the game thinking that they suprass the requeriments and they will found a unplayable game at “low settings”, and you will have angry costumer with high possibilities that they wont buy another GW game again, and to Arena.net is scamming the players.

Anet doesn’t lie about system spec. Game were tested by millions of users across the world with millions of system. Only 0.05% of the user out of 2millions will have FPS issues.

OP: the CPU is very old. 2 cores… 2008 Pentium.

He should be able to run everything on Mid except the Shadows and Sampling to Low or Native. Most of the settings are CPU bound. The higher you over clock the CPU, the better FPS you get.

If someone put this system here telling that the game is unplayable the people will tell , " buy another pc", " CPU 5 years old " etc….But no, the game should be playable smoth at lowest config, if you cant play with a that system you are lying your costumers.

Becuase that is the meaning of Minium Requeriments, no install the game and play 10 fps at lowest.

I have a system muuuuuch better than the minimum requeriments and i play after the 12/9 patch at 15-35 fps when im alone in the map, it doesnt matter if i put the game in high or low, the first game that i saw that it doesnt matter what config you use, nothing change.

That is not how work a minimum requeriments, the people that buy a PC game dont have to see the forum game to see if is true or not that the game will run in his system, they will check the requeriments in the box and they will buy it . But many people will buy the game with a system over the requreimenst and will be unplayable at the lowest graphic.

I think that say " buuh 4 years CPU etc…" forget that the game use a improved version of GW1 engine, a game with more of 7 years old, and the GW1 perfomance was much better.

I still remember, "if you play at GW1 in high with good fps, you will play GW2 in medium without no issues ".

Well i play GW1 at highest at 180 fps, where is my "no issues " ?

PD: You have to tell me where you get that 0.05% ? That the people dont post it in the Official forums dont mean that they dont exist, i have many friends with perfomance issues with good specs and they dont go post it in the forums, and casual players dont give a kitten if the game run at 30fps or 120fps.

Well after this weekend, tomorrow Monday will be the sixth day since the last patch that mess the perfomance for many of us, still no fixpatch or at least and answer.

Will be a answer or a explication by arena.net, or will we have to wait more like fools ?
