You got more money for doing nothing than most people do in their entire time playing the game and you still find a reason to complain?

Doing nothing? I farmed MK dungeon to get it. Doing nothing would be someone giving it to me. Lucky yes, but that is something different.

I’m not complaining, if you read my post, specially the last line, I have a plan to sell it. I borrowed some money to post it in the TP, and then paid my friend 10 % of what I borrowed back to him.

This is more of a suggestion, I know that the average player doesn’t have a lot of money. There should be a way for people to post good drops in the TP to get money, when they don’t have enough funds to post it.

Today I got Arachnophobia, and was pretty excited. It was a bit frustrating to find out that because of the listing fees and my lack of funds (I just spent a bunch) I cant sell it now. I personally like the fees, and think the money sink is a good thing…but I would appreciate it if there was a way to rework it all so that I could sell it now. Either a higher fee on the back side, or something that would allow me to post it.

Right after noon PST is went up to 75 + gold, now its back down a lot from there. I would have loved to dumped it earlier.

I know that some people use the TP as storage, and front fee is important. BUT still I should be able to sell a good drop, and solve my financial woes.

There are ways around this, I just borrow some money from a friend.

Lack of Decorations in Divinity's Reach?

I’m just surprised by the strong Krytan connection…the throne…that divinity’s reach is not decorated.

Maybe in a later Act.

Also on a Lore question. How many seals bind the Mad King in the Mad Relm? I know that 1 was broken when Salma took the throne.

Why is there a lack of decorations in Divinity’s Reach?

In GW1 there were 4 places decorated for Halloween.

Droks – now in the sea
Kamadan – we don’t have access to.
Tombs of the P. Kings – in a way decorating the Mysts
LA – great job in LA by the way.

BUT Divinity’s Reach gets nothing? I find this strange when Mad King was Krytan, and the monarchy used to be in LA but was moved to DR.

I can understand the other towns Hoebrak, Citidal, RS, and Grove not being decorated, but to have a lack of it in DR seems odd to me. Especially when most of the quest are in the Krytan zones close to DR.

As I posted earlier downed state is needed with out a dedicated healer. How many times in other games, did I almost have someone killed, and they got a heal from the healer. What is funny is then you see in chat “I would have killed you if you didn’t have a healer..” down state is very much needed, and honestly it doesn’t need to be changed to much.

There are ways around the interrupts, like stability, aoe damage, timing a dodge roll.

Know your enemy, and there skills. All the classes are easy to finish if you know what look for.

Traits missing vital informations in tooltips to make informed decisions.

Guild Wars wiki is a great site. It has a lot of useful information. Yes the tooltips need to be a lot better, but there is a source to find this information. I’m not saying wiki is the solution, just a resource.

I personally think the downed state is an important mechanic in the way that they designed the game. Now it still needs to be tweaked, and changed some, but that being said we still haven’t had any real profession balancing, and several professions still have bugged skills. Up to this point we have only had changes to skills that were causing major imbalances.

Here is why I feel that the overall mechanic of the downed state is good. Simply put we have NO dedicated healers in this game. Comparing this to other games, all the others have a dedicated healer, and this role is our life line / 2nd chance when we get spiked. The downed state gives people a 2nd chance to get back into the fight be it in pve / dungeon or pvp. No one would enjoy being spiked down and not having a 2nd chance to get back into things. In other mmo’s this comes from a heal from a dedicated healer, in GW 2 it comes from the downed state.

Now I know that this doens’t solve the issues with 1v1 and 1v2 but still comparing the healing system in gw 2 it is still much different. Generally speaking in all the other games that I played I could heal myself better and more consistently. Be it from pot spamming / or just better healing from pots, and class mechanics like spammable minor heals. Generally speaking I have less burst heal and less regen with longer cool downs compared to most of the other games that I played. Here again I feel that the downed stated compensates for this difference.

Now I’m not saying it’s perfect, but the over all system is better then the alternative of not having the downed state, with the heals that we have in gw 2, and without true healers.

Swap Pistol off hand skills, put Phantasm in slot 5.

This thread is… horrible… Having to think is stupid? Then play a warrior.

Mesmer is a complex class, comparatively. We have a lot going on. I’m not saying we’re superior, but we are more confusing (to ourselves and enemies). Having the phantasms in different slots is the last thing we should be mentioning, when there are other legitimate balance and bug related issues still in game.

I happen to think that all the weapons are perfectly fine exactly how they are, and if the simple task of knowing which weapon you’re using is too difficult for you, don’t swap weapons.

Don’t expect Anet to dumb down a complex class so you can play it dumbly, please. Most of us chose Mesmer because we enjoy the playstyle and appreciate the complexity.

You completely miss my point. I love the class, and I am not asking things to be “dumb down” I love the complexity of the class.

All I’m asking is that they stream line the skills a bit as far as the order. Skills in certain places don’t matter if you’re a button masher. Knowing when to use them is a different story.

Absolutely there are more important issues at hand, concerning Mesmer, but still, I have the right to offer a suggestion that is a quick fix. As it seems you would just want me to be quiet with my suggestion because there are “more important” issues.

Interesting. I was jut thinking about that.

Staff, Greatsword, Trident, and Spear – all have their clones / phantasm is different slots. Would be great to get them all in the same spot.

I know that the game has been out for a while and most Mesmers are used to the way things are. That being said can we get the pistol skills swapped so that they line up with the rest of the off hand skills.

In every other off hand, Torch, Sword, and Focus slot 5 is the Phantasm. Pistol is the exception to this and the Phantasm is in slot 4. This would make things more streamlined, in that when I am dual wielding I know that slot 5 will always be my Phantasm. Instead of occasionally making that mistake with the pistol.

Is this an oversight, or is there a reason / rational for the pistol Phantasm to be in slot 4?
