I upgraded the guts of my PC to run GW2. This is what I bought;

AMD FX-8150 (OC’d to 3.95GHz)
Asus M5A97 EVO
Patriot Viper 3 Mamba Black 8GB
CM 212 Cooler
AMD Radeon HD 7770

I get 18FPS standing near the forge at LA.
I get avg 35-40FPS everywhere else.

Got to say I’m really dissapointed

Look up about disabling core parking and see what happens.

Tried that, no luck. * MAYBE 1-2FPS increase

My temps are fine, 59C max. Latests drivers, bios, fresh Win7 install.

This is super frustrating!

Just increase the range of the scepter, done.

Is it normal to get 18fps at Lions Arch with this setup?

Outside of Lions Arch I get 30-45fps, which I still think is pretty bad but playable.

I’m just wondering if there is anything I can do? This is on a new Win7 build with latest drivers and BIOS.
