Given that most of the time everything everywhere is hetero, no I don’t mind, and no, it doesn’t feel forced. Honestly I felt so great when I encountered a homosexual relationship early on in the story. Also if you do the Green Knight story a hetero relationship or two are shown/hinted at.
Can’t you just see some of the more childlike Sylvari naming themselves stuff like Rayven Bloodrain Palemoon? I think that would be adorable. Or like, Pear Tastyfruit. (where did you get that from? Well…it’s my favorite dessert.)
Generally the names seem to have an Irish Gaelic flair, so it’s a safe bet to go with something like that. But I think you could get away with quite a few choices. I like to name my characters Persian names or names with Persian or Arabic sounds. My necromancer is named Hanifa. My Elementalist is Ashaed. (Aash aye eed) One character had her name already from a different game, so her name is Aerdeth. (which is Jewish, spelled differently)
I have heard this expressed a couple of times and I honestly don’t get it when people get a “freedom fighter” vibe from them. It is pounded in to your skull from day one in the starting zone that they torture and otherwise break people for their purposes. The party line can sound wonderful but if it is supported by those kinds of tactics they’ve lost all misunderstood rebel status in my mind.
I really want a way to designate a set. WoW included this round about Wrath, if I remember correctly. Granted in WoW it existed so you could swap dungeon sets, say from healing to tanking, but it worked for rp clothes too. I would like something like that in GW2, where I can tag items as all going together, have the dye colors remembered, etc.
I personally don’t like the idea of inspect, since it does tend to promote a certain kind of elitism. I could even see that happening with dye colors like, oh my god this guy is wearing a common dye what a peasant type reactions, even if it looks awesome.
Also MORE TOWN CLOTHES. I want rp clothes kitten This game is all about appearance which I LOVE, so give me more appearance choices!
