For the last week I have been waiting to play my beloved guild wars 2 hoping this new patch would fix all my disconnects, lag etc.

NOPE!

NOT EVEN CLOSE

Its gotten worse now I cant even last 2 friggen seconds logged in before I disconnect. It all started last Friday when I updated constant lag spikes and D/C’s.

I feel like I have been scammed almost out of my money for buying this game paying for gems, and now I cant even play. EXTREMEY disappointed and angry.

I am using Shaw High Speed internet, Canadian user, brand new laptop I am yet to have an issue with it except the occasional not responding from IE9, Im running windows 8, 16gb of ram 1 tb of memory, i7. Everything else on this laptop works fine its just GW2. Get it together.

I’m getting this problem ever since Friday morning when I patched for friggen BAGS OF ALL THINGS. I don’t know how you can screw something up doing that..

Aaanyways, been freezing, and D/Cing all over the place since Friday. Massive lag spikes all over and it isn’t my computer its running smooth asides from the occasional internet explorer is not responding ( Surprise, surprise)

Only noise on start-up is an odd loading noise, though its been like that for awhile with no issues. (I don’t know why it does that maybe its the stuff booting up)

I am getting major lag spikes, and disconnects when logging in ever since Friday morning. My computer on startup has been making noises for the last week (very faint) but that isn’t it because it just started Friday morning, when I patched.
Rendering anything big scale almost useless and unplayable as I freeze and then go every 20 seconds

I have been getting huge lag spikes, and disconnects in big scale WvW and PvE Ever since Friday night.

Its really annoying tbh.
FPS is fine, Computer is fine (Although I have noticed some out of place noises on startup but so far im fine, disk 0% Fragmented etc.) My internet is fine so Im almost 100% Its not on my end.

Yes its a fairly good starter point, but I depending on the build have anywhere between 47-50% Crit chance, with 80% Crit Dmg. And it can get higher.

Well, that’s fairly low Crit Chance, and Crit Damage.

Honestly, I had to sign in and say something for once instead of just reading.

Kaineng yes your beating us but for kitten sakes stop the chest thumping we are so invincible crap. Some of you are good sports but no one likes a sore winner.
Also outnumbering people 2:1 is by no means some good fight.
There’s so many of you at all times are servers can’t compete, so all this yawn this is good practice crap is getting really annoying. If we had even numbers this would be a different story.
There’s so many of you my 1500$ laptop goes from 60-120fps roaming to 40 in normal set fights and down to 20 once you’ve all shown up. A sinful amount of players lol

I think the problem is it seems lots of rangers like to run face first into zergs in WvW, I mean that to me isnt how it should be done, Im not even a lvl 80 Ranger and I have managed to kill almost a thousand people in between levelling.

I try to stick to the outskirts and target people eventually killing them, because if im caught in the zerg I will die pretty quick unless I play smart.

I am currently getting about 20-30 FPS on a computer I feel is more than fit to run a game such as this.

Alienware M18x
16GB Ram
1TB memory, although I only have about 800GB remaining.
Windows 8
Intel i7 Core
Nvidia 675
When I run the game it uses up about 30-40% CPU

I just don’t understand, I even used CPU unpark (which I used for Planetside 2) To unpark my cores.

Any help would be appreciated tech gurus.
