I for one will not sit idle and placate this atrocity by claiming this is a good list and a good idea. While this may be an improvement to the steaming pile of hot garbage the last proposal was this is still ridiculous.

I am looking at, maybe 4 sigils worth a kitten , and my options for a power build like shatter mesmer jammed with lack luster options that will get nowhere close the benefits of sigils of air and fire. Thereby further nerfing one of the last semi decent burst builds left in this game. Whoop-de ding an extra 5% damage, because sigil of force was taken SOOOOO often in the first place. lmao. 10% and maybe I will think about it.

Most of these sigils are going to encourage a condi damage bunker fest which honestly will be the last straw for me and a lot of my guildies. Today Ive been reading in PvP why change the sigil system now?

Right now there is a ton of sigil diversity with a few like hydromancy and leeching obviously a bit more powerful than others….so why tear down the ENTIRE system and overhaul EVERYTHING when a simpler option would be to bring other sigils more in line with them, or tune down the OP ones.

You are flat out deleting content and further pigeon holing people into builds. Out of this list maybe a few will be viable and it is the SAME ISSUES ALL OVER AGAIN BUT WITH LESS SIGILS.

Sigils like revelation will massively alter gameplay, it will become nearly impossible to stomp in stealth. And confuse a lot of class roles that already had this utility in the first place…

While this list is better than the last it is still hot garbage. It makes absolutely 0 sense to overhaul an entire system because a few sigils were ahead of the pack. You will never achieve total balance, some options will always be better than others so why strip out content to further bore us.

A much better approach would be to leave the sigils already in the game, and add these alternatives, while at the same time toning down the more powerful sigils at the moment.

Getting rid of on-crit sigils effectively destroys many many of the burst builds which is going to further stagnate gameplay into a bunker snooze fest. Why dont you just add internal cooldowns to the on crit sigils? Would that not address the issue? (Although I don’t perceive there to be one).

PvP in this game finally got close to balanced, albeit condi is a little busted and you want to strip out the viability of many builds because the sigils were to strong. Like completely dumping a plate of food in the garbage because some of it touched.

You have got to be kidding me with some of the suggestions in here.

If anything sigils like fire and air should be kept the same or buffed. As of right now they are some of the ONLY things making builds like shatter Mesmer viable. Someone suggested add burning…yeah because this game needs more conditions.

I agree that some of the sigils are pretty weak, but rather than completely demolish some of the only sigils that help keep HIGH RISK, HIGH REWARD builds viable once again like shatter mesmer, why not buff some of the lackluster ones.

I have no issue with hydromancy though I feel like the damage could maybe be toned down a tiny bit.

But we see these sigils being used because much of the time there are no other options. SO, before you do something rash like kill your game harder by eliminating any form of burst potential until this game divulges into staring at each other while condis tick down.

It would be nice to see a sigil that works with ferocity… but please do not do anything rash.

I am also stuck now as well. Ive tried everything.

For what it is worth I ran a ping plot and I have some very hefty internet, also got issues around Dallas1 Level 3. That’s where my packets just like died.

Coincidentally, I have also been having problems with lag also from Canada, just posted here as well.

Hello, been having some horrendous issues with lag lately often only in PvP or WvW.

The problem generally doesn’t exist until I change maps or zone in to a pvp game. At which point I will get lag spikes of over 20 seconds. Often a re-log will be the only cure or re starting my computer entirely.

Now some background info.

I am running streaming internet tested at 10ms ping, 180 down, 20 up. On a stable 5Ghz network.

ASUS RT-AC5300 router which is beefy as hell.

My laptop itself uses a Killer DoubleShot pro wi-fi chip which identifies high latency gaming etc and automatically send info over the fastest interface.

Also using WTFast

This problem ONLY occurs with Guild Wars 2, and when experiencing these lag spikes Team Speak still remains fine, anything running in the background is fine. Only the game where I will be stuck in a 20s+ lag spike which usually doesnt even disconnect me from the game server.

Like I said re-logs will fix it sometimes but often they come back.

I’ve disabled anything P2P on Windows which I’ve heard can cause random lag spikes no help.

Also I live with a network engineer, and an IT tech and..well we still have no idea…

Talked to our ISP and they said not much they can really do.

So….

Edit: We just plotted the ping, and the issues seemed to be caused around Dallas 1.Level3.net..

1) Revert Scoring
2) Bring back the old stability in WvW
3) Tone down conditions in WvW
4)Tone down damage reduction skills in WvW
5)Skill lag

Looking at the master tier for illusions, its incredibly lack luster, why not bring back illusionary invigoration and merge it with phantasmal haste or something?

Bump, maybe one of these threads can get some word from the Devs?

I would suggest combining http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Illusionary_Invigoration with http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Phantasmal_Haste which is already in the new triat system to fit them both in the 3 per tier limit. There is no reason to “remove” either just combine them into one. It makes sense and Isn’t overpowered since if your shattering enough to make use of the at 50% Recharge your phantasms wont be alive long a enough to make use of their Haste.

I know this was addressed in the stream, and written down by Jon? I think he wrote down that it should be looked, but I would prefer this not just be looked at but added either to a trait or as a stand alone master trait.

Citizens who play any form of shatter will probably agree with me when I say it is an absolute staple to the build and a large portion of the survival and rapid shatter outputs especially when playing any form of zerker shatter.
The mesmer changes in general I feel have been very thoughtful ( with the exception of DE not being a baseline) but thats whatever.

So this is my petition to make sure this trait is added back into its traitline.

A hood like the Winged Headpiece for light classes, but covers more of the face and for all armor classes.

Basically I would sell anet my first born for a decent looking baggy heavy class hood.

We all have that one piece of armor that we get cannot wear due to class restrictions. That one stunning headpiece or shoulder garment that finishes a characters appearance…but you cannot wear it because of restrictions.

So why not sell Superior Transmutation Stones that allow for ONE armor skin to be transmuted onto another class. I think a fair price would be 200 gems.

I.E. Warrior transmuting Winged Headpiece for a hooded appearance. But with a limit of one he cannot completely transmute himself to give the appearance of a light armor class to not completely shatter immersion.

Maybe I am too into character appearances..any support besides myself for this out there?

This could be a little insensitive considering some people could of lost people in the Germanwings crash…

60 FPS in LA down to 30 FPS lol..

Dropped from 40+ FPS in WvW to 25 FPS…almost un playable now.

Hi, since a few days ago while playing Gw2 it will lock up my graphics and freeze my PC sending me into a Video TDR BSOD (nvkflt.sys) Which would be an issue with my Nvidia drivers.

I have stress tested my GPU, upon which it deemed everything to be in working order, I updated to the newest Nvidia drivers, and defragged my disc. Games such as ArcheAge appear to be working fine.

It comes randomly for example I never crashed yesterday at all. Should I do a system restore? Take it in for repairs idk?

As of today, Nvidia and my computer have blocked the ability for Gw2 to access and run on my graphics card entirely. Apparently, its not happy with your game.

Windows 8.1
16GB Ram
Intel I-7-3610QM CPU @ 2.30GHz
Nvidia GTX 675M

Note this is a laptop, so opening it up and messing around isn’t much of an option for me. Never have had crash issues on this rig before.

Any advice would be awesome.

I get matched. Friggen 3 decap/condi engis on skyhammer oh dear lawd. Im going to lose my hot gril. But I am a fighter I use a lot of charisma thingy or was it ferocity w/e I picked in the character creation screen. Either way my toon is glorious fighter.

I figure I will help out, on mid. Nope condis are everywhere my body is burning and so are my loins. She is sad.

Clearly you didn’t catch the part where at the end I said lol as in the whole bad blood thing was a joke. Rashad Evans would probably laugh at you and walk away and would not ask you to fight him as he already knows who the better fighter is just saying. Talking about fights are they not hyped up you because sometimes the fighters have "bad blood’ makes the fight better gives it more meaning but both fighters are given time to prepare. Pretty much what I was saying is let us give it a go at it and then give us time to train and work out the kinks and then maybe we could have our rumble in the obsidian jungle.

Certainly makes up for all the times you pushed and instantly imploded. Also our times on DB were quite enjoyable, not all raids were perfect but I certainly don’t remember you guys.

Lol Abyss. I think the only time we have ever died to them is when engulfed in either a map Q or under a hail of AC fire.

Only got to really have one good fight with just us vs them at SW garrison was a close fight I suppose, their recoveries take forever though and that’s what cost them I think..
