Mordrem Breacher fight in Auric Basin needs to be fixed.
The Healers respawn too quickly. By the time you take all 3 groups down the respawn instantly all over again. You cannot kill it because it fully regens each time. We spent 30 trying to kill it and eventually we all gave up.
I have some recommendations for changes that should be made to the Wardrobe.
Remove Transmutation Charges:
They are an unnecessary currency which ends up being part of inventory maintenance and complicates things. Instead keep things simple. Allow users to make on the fly appearance changes via the wardrobe system for free. This makes the game more enjoyable as some people like having a certain look. Now you are probably thinking (but we gain revenue from the purchase of charges). I have a better way to gain revenue in that department, continue reading…
Wardrobe Sets:
Players would by default be allowed to store 1 wardrobe full set.
Additional sets may be unlocked via purchases in the gem store (400gems).
Think of this like an equipment manager that stores the appearance configuration into a slot. You could even expand on this idea and make an actual equipment manager. Some players who PvP (lots of them) want to quickly switch between their WvW and PvP gear. This would help them do just that. It could also be used for people who want to be heavier focused towards healing (since you recently introduced raiding to the game). This might enable future raid fights to use more healing based on party balance.
Wardrobe Randomizer:
Randomly selects pieces of gear which you have already unlocked to builds a set.
This adds an entertainment value as users will discover gear they haven’t seen before. It will also give them a reason to hunt down the rest of sets they like but were unaware of. The randomizer should be a button with an undo function. You should include a checkbox to allow the randomizer change gear daily.
I hope you consider these changes seriously. I truly believe they will make an already great game even better.
Firstly I’d like to just say I really enjoy using a glider in Tyria, it has been highly entertaining.
I have some ideas of how the mechanics of HoT could be implemented in dungeons. I would like to see these in future dungeons and raids.
1) Gliding
A boss fight where you fight while flying.
Remember the egg quest? Those special abilities which allowed you to burst towards things and leap to climb. There could be updrafts that appear in sequence and require some players move to another platform during fight. These platforms could move.
2) Bouncing Mushrooms:
A multi level or multi platform boss fight where players used the mushrooms to bounce to different floors quickly to do boss damage, hit triggers, etc.
3) Nuhoch Wallows:
Players could use these to get through maze like areas in dungeons. During a boss fight they could use these to hide from damage. Some bosses could teleport a lot and require you to use the tunneling method to catch them and do damage. You could also use these to avoid damage. What a portion of the room filled with poison and you had to get out quickly. Jump on the mushroom and bounce to a different location.
4) Speed Mushrooms:
Have a really fast paced boss fight where players have to chase the boss. Use them to dodge phases of the fight that require lots of dodging of area or environmental effects.

I want to discuss what other Scepter/Pistol Mesmers use for their builds.
This one I created and easily got to 80. What do others think of this build?

The strategy is to stack all 3 illusions, then shatter them with Mind Wrack every chance you get. This does massive AOE, it blinds and confuses them , and causes vulnerability. The confusions causes additional damage, and you get 3xMight.
In between these stacks use Confusing Image to channel damage to a main target.
Use Phantasmal Duelist to cause additional damage and bleeds or to pull off you.
Magic Bullet will be used alot for large groups.
1st take Illusions
Your damage and condition damage (for bleeds) are stronger.
Shattering gives you stacks of Might per illusion.
Confusion will cause additional damage thanks to the last trait in illusion.
2nd take Duelist
Illusions now cause bleeds, and your crits cause bleeds.
Every time you shatter they are constantly being blinded
Gain fury if they are below 75% HP
Interrupts cause confusion and damage
3rd take Domination
Interrupts will also cause vulnerability
Signets cause distortion which help you evade. This triggers confusion and damage.
Signets recharge faster, so use blind and stun alot.
Deal more damage for vulnerability
Shattering deals up to 30% more damage
Note my all Signet skills.
Domination and Midnight are used to cause stun and blind constantly.
With distortion fields, they are used to evade and cause confusion damage.
Inspiration will constantly give you Swiftness for maximum movement speed.
You also gain a random buff which greatly helps in critical fights.
For you elite skill, I recommend a pets, so go Hounds.
Unfortunately I had to go to an earlier graphics driver for the game Fallout 4.
Newer Nvidia GTX860M graphics drivers don’t work with Fallout. Not sure if that caused the problem or not.
The audio slider in the UI that changes Dialogue Volume also will change Cinematic Dialogue Volume. These need to be separate.
Example when this is useful:
Mesmer Signet of Inspiration will cast Swiftness every few seconds.
This triggers an event which calls a character dialogue
“I can outrun a centaur”
Because this happens once every couple of seconds it’s extremely annoying.
Thus the player has to lower the Dialogue Volume slider to 0 in the Audio UI.
However, when they do this, it will effectively turn off all cinematic dialogue.
That means the player will NOT get to experience the audio during Story Quests.
I don’t want to miss out on the Mesmer story just because of the Swiftness buff.
Please develop a second audio slider for Cinematic Volume which is independent of Dialogue Volume.
Unable to initialize 3D output.
Please verify that you have installed DirectX9 and an updated video driver.
I randomly get this when starting the game.
I checked and I do have DX9 installed so it shouldn’t be causing an issue.
Graphics Card = GTX860M
Repetitious Character Speech on buff
I’m playing a Mesmer, and each time the player receives the swiftness buff from the Signet of Inspiration she says the phrase “I could outrun a centaur!” She says this phrase over and over again, literally every 30 seconds when the buff is cast. It’s extremely annoying and unnecessary. There is a visual of the buff when it’s enabled so you don’t need an annoying audio event to be called as well.
I would suggest an option in the audio portion of the UI to disable player announcements. That way they don’t say other dumb unnecessary phrases randomly. Since when did this become a defacto standard in the gaming industry. Sometimes a player should just be silent. You don’t need to loop audio events, it’s simply not necessary, and only a filler for content.
