We need a lot more of such fun items like the Tp and a higher chance to get it.
Because for me such items are the essence of holiday events.
Just eating candy corn isn’t all that funny, but loobing TP is a lot of fun
In gw 1 you got tons of ghosts in boxes and so on, which was really cool. I hope we will see more such stuff in the future.

I mean it’s a cat with a hat, a witch hat. Thats just hilarious
I hope they add a lot more such things in the future and probably even update some old events or so to make them more appealing/difficult.
Furthermore it is always fun to get to access new territories you couldn’t reach before.
Looking forward to future contend updates and expansions.
God, I want to see all those lands you see on the map and can’t enter (yet). drool

Just some quick question:
So what event items like food, alcohol and fun item is there to get?
And how do you get them? Only from the gem shop or also from haloween events, games and mob drops?
For me the whole costume thing been sold for gems is ok, also was like his in Gw 1, but i would be really sad if you can’t get those items for free.
I mean it was really cool to get all this stuff from the quests and the game where the king appeared in town in Gw 1.
I loved those things like ghost in the box and the pumpkin head and there was so much of this stuff and it was quiet easy to get.
So what is it like now?
Can you only get them from the bags from the shop?
Because i don’t have limitless money avaible and i at least want to buy one of the costumes.
Some pretty nice ideas here from what i have read.
Imo there are quiet some events that should at least get a bit more difficult or better scaling.
Sometimes I get the feeling that some events don’t scale at all.
I’m NOT asking to make them so hard that only pros can beat the game properly or something.
I’m ok if events aren’t all that difficult so everyone can do them, but I don’t want to get bored while doing them.
I mean, I have stumbled over quiet some events where there were more players present than actual mobs.
And I’m not talking about zergs of 50+ Players. More like groups of 5-10 people.
Sometimes the enemies went down so quick I couldn’t even land a hit on a single one. Thats not fun.
It’s totaly not fun if you have to compete with the other players to get an enemy to beat on.
It’s not fun if you stand there and the waiting for mobs actualy is more time consuming than the actual fights.
It’s not fun if the Npcs almost manage to do the event on theire own.
It’s not fun if half the players can take a nap during an DE because there simply is nothing to do for them.
PLs A-net, I know you can do better. I have seen a lot of very good events in the plains of ashford for example.
There you had to actually fight to win the event. And sometimes a player even was in down state or defeated if the just stood there autoattacking or not paing attention.
That’s what fun is. Because there we had to work together to not get stomped by those gohsts.
We had to doge, we had to rez, we had to stay together.
That was just great. This actually feelt like an enemy attack that was meant serious.
Not just some poor single Npcs that were sent out just to be beat on and to dye unter a flood of players.
I know there is a lot of stuff you have to do at the moment and you are donig you best.
But it would just be great if you could look a bit at those events that are just facerolled and plain boring.
Make them an actual challange, something you can feel good about after you managed to do it.
Something that gives you the feeling of acomplishment because you were good enough to win the figth and deserve your reward that you get from them.
Really seems like we need a splitt pve/pvp skill pool again. Furthermore alot more bugfixes on abilities and traits.
And I’m not just talking about the mesmer here. Necromancer and Elementalist also suffer a great deal from bugs.
It’s good that they do look into balance of all the classes and so on, but why do they only fix bugs that give us an advantage?
Ok, im fine with sinets not firing behind us and all, but how important and gamebreaking was that bug??
What I simply dont get is the fact that they even did nothing against all the skills/boons/conditions not granting the listed duration.
Like 5 seconds of vigor from phoenix instead of 10, healing rain only lasting 4 seconds instead of 9, stability/protection on armor of earth 6 not 8 and so on…
How difficult can it be to change those numbers?
I mean really, I just don’t get it.

I hope those tokens aren’t sould bound.
Please make them account bound or not bound at all(like it was in GW1).
Because I asume the rewards you get will be the pact weapons you see in the pvp locker and I want two of them for my thief
Almost all of them you can get in pve . The “pact” weapons seem not to be optainable in pve at the moment.
The name thing was also pretty confusing for me.
I wonder if we will see a final fix to the skillpoint bugs in the next patch, so they don’t just bug again after some fights.
At least the “we found the root of the problem” sounds promising. Furthermore they could move on to fix something else if those points stay fixed ^^
You can get to the vendor when you complete your personal storyline.
Only problem is that he doesn’t sell the weapons…yet
Don’t know if this is a bug or if they will add it with some future patch.
So at the moment there is no way to actually get these weapons.
And belive me, I also want them really badly.
Most of them look SOOOOOOOO awsome.

Elementalist:
Fixed a bug that made the Elementalist damage Foes.
Now working as intended, so the Elemnetalist applies conditions to himself and boons to the enemy.
Now this makes me sad, really sad.
I don’t ask for any Elementalist buffs or such things yet and I understand that it’s better to wait than to overbuff or nerf something.
But what I really was hoping for in this patch and also the last one, were at least some fixes to some of the major skill bugs.
Not even our weapon skills are working as they should.
Furthermore like all our defensive skills like mistform, armor of earth, cleansing fire are broken and lots of traits are not working.
I tell you, this profession is so weak because nothing works like it should.
We lose a huge amount of power just because so many of our skills and traits are bugged. No wonder everyone is complaining about how weak the ele is.
And to be honest I feel like they enjoy to bully the Elementalist.
Only fixing bugs that benefit us, but leave us with all the bugs that weaken us.
I wonder if this class will ever work as it should :C
Sometimes I wonder if this class just feels underpowered to some people because of all the bugs.
I mean, half duration for the vigor on phoenix, lower duration on armor of earth, not breaking stun… and all the other stuff like traits not working.
That’s quiet a huge part of combatpower lost.
I hope the next patch(es) fix a lot of those ability and trait bugs on all the classes. Because they are even worse to me than the events/Skillpoint bugs
seriously, the game is amazingly beautiful, charming, yes it has its bugs, flaws and design mistakes.
but… i never felt So Lonely in an MMO as i feel in GW2
(and i have a guild, and friends from gw playing on too)
i am still amazed to log in to Kamadan in GW America 1 and see more life and busier chat there than i see in Hoelbrak or Divinitys Reach.
Sadly I often feel the same way.
Probably the whole thing is not that the game is realy empty, but there are no real places where people gather and trade an chat with each other and so it just feels empty.
So far I have only seen a few longer conversations in cities or explorable areas.
But often you need to wait for minutes to get an answer to a question or don’t get one at all.
Everything just feels totaly empty when you say someting and there is just no respons or there is no one fooling around in the chat.
Feeling alone amidst hundrets or thousands of people, a very strange thing.
