I got a warrior and the nerf is 8%…
Its not THAT big deal. They just need to increase active healing amount so we should use the signet when things go scary a bit more.
Other things should bother us more instead of this 8%.
I received several phising e-mails in the past weeks like the one below :

Gratz, good video, but…
With all the respect, personally I would expect some more innovation besides skill. You got skills, you are using a well known build slightly altered and you are using hammer… with everything that goes with that.
I mean, you are successful but you posted a video where you do something that … hundreds other did already. I would be amazed if you show same success with another build.
(my personal opinion)
Wrong. Conditions do need a nerf. Either reducing the damage per tick, or making it not being able to reapply 5x faster than you cleanse, or reduce its duration. Stop defending this broken mechanic, it is even worst than defending a D/P blind spam teef. The fact that conditions can burst you down faster than power or on par with power is just total bs. Conditions are supposed to kill your enemy slowly, not bursting through that 20k hp in few seconds.
You said it yourself… The problem is that certain professions can apply too many stacks of a large enough variety of conditions for fair enough time AND that they can reapply them quite fast.
Even at 2000 condition dmg the bleed will deal 137dmg/stack… the issue starts when someone can apply 15xbleed,poison, 3xtorment, 3xconfusion, 5xvulnerability,cripple… faster than you can cleanse.
have you watch a video a condi warrior can melt you in seconds
Yeah, if you go WvW and bring no condition removal its more than possible. But that is like going into WvW with full zerker gear…
This build is effective using the current state of the Hammer Warr’s skills (Stun Lock) but I would really like the x/LB alternative to it. Either Hammer/LB or GS/LB by using Pin Down (LB#5)-Bull’s Charge-Burst.
Feel free to use it while it exists tho cause the Stun Lock and Pin Down will see some kind of … nerf?
Ascended gear major asset is Agony Resistance(AR). Where AR is paying no role (outside fractals) the benefit of ascended gear gives you about +5% stat boost compared to exotic one.
So, I would suggest crafting Ascended Gear according to your Fractal (and General PvE/Dung) needs and have another (probably exotic) set for WvW. The additional AR is of no use outside Fractals and that +5% will hardly mean any mentionable difference in WvW most of the time.
…Well we all know that condition damage in general needs a major nerf.
Just to correct you…
Actually conditions themselves doesn’t need a nerf (like bleeding dealing too much damage to handle). Its just that certain professions are very good with overloading targets with various conditions (many of them damage dealing) … which means that its hard for you to cleanse them all while others can simply apply the same few conditions over and over that even if you cleanse them you regain them huge stacks before your condition removal skill is out of CD.
Still, this is possible due to to profession specific skills and certain runes (perplexity for example), not the conditions themselves.
Personally, I don’t know… I ’ve witnessed LA since GW1 and it was the main Hub in Tyria (lots of people) and it is used the same in GW2.
From one aspect I wouldn’t like to see glorious place obliterated. All the people accessing bank, crafting, this that, etc… Its a nice and warm place.
…BUT when I am thinking that LOTS of people are standing in LA (instead of doing some activity in the rest of the world) and remaining there for hours per day… I say “Go Scarlet … nuke that place and force people to roam outside”.
What I mean in the last paragraph is that LA has an overgrown popularity. You may wonder if pushing people out of LA will make then actually play. Not necessarily, but needing to go to place X to access FotM, to place Y to access MF, to place Z,W,S,T to access crafting stations… will make people to pass next to other events and stuff otherwise they wouldn’t have the chance to participate (while staying in LA).
After latest patch (15 Oct 2013) I saw that Desperate Power (Tactics trait III) was switched back to provide its bonus (+20% damage) when health is below 25% (instead of previously 50%). This change isn’t documented in patch notes. Is this change intended a bug or misleading description?
Apart from that, wouldn’t it be nice if the bonus (when active) was indicated by the presence of an icon of some short so you know when its active and when not.

Vigil Armor, for example, is available at an armorer in the Vigil’s Keep. You just have to be lvl80 to use it. I guess other armor sets can be found in the appropriate places.
