Hey, when I download the patch listed my mac throws me an error saying it won’t allow me to install it because its by an unrecognised publisher.

Sorry I’m very paranoid about these things, any eta on an official update?

All my toons except 2 are male. I dont like wandering around looking like some tart from a brothel thank you very much (yes im female irl).

Covered up, sensible armour all the way. One of the females I do have is charr so my armour selection for her is fine, other is human and I feel embarrassed each time I look at her.

This is just depressing, could you PLEASE scale the armour better on smaller characters? this is just embarrassing… Now my poor toon looks like he has a pin head. The mantle is even WORSE, looks like my poor pin head is about to be smooshed between my thunder shoulders.

Dont even get me started on the non dye green parts, gave us 3 dye slots, cant even change the green..

These items already exist. Items like Volcanus or Mjolnir. And guess what? They’re at least as much of a grind to make as any other skin is to buy. In fact, it costs far more gold and takes way, way more time to make one of these craftables than to use gold and buy an RNG box weapons skins off of the TP (as long as you don’t wait a year for the price to climb).

Don’t force your players to spend rl cash for things… let them out right buy the skins on the gem store.

You don’t want to play the game to earn the gold to buy it, you don’t want to grind for it and you don’t want to spend rl money. I’d rather have the current system where i can work for something that not everyone has than have them hand them out without any effort.

Was ment to say “Dont force your players to spend rl money on rng chests” because in theory you could spent £300 and never get anything and someone else can spend £5 and get that super rare item you just forked out half your salary for.

Also the problem isnt 100% the gold its also the rate of the drops, anets idea of “rare” is like 00.04%, you really want to fork out cash for that? no.

Also its not that I dont want to spend time in game its that I dont have time, I have a hell of a lot of course work and work 5 or sometimes 6 days a week which takes up most my day, when I come home I do uni work then play games. Like I said, not that I dont want to, its that I cant, I would love to spend time in the game but I would like to pass my course and not get fired. Some players have family and work, cant expect them to give every waking moment of their life in a game?

I know the sample isnt amazing but let these drop rates sink in a little. I know people that spent £300-£400 on keys for the molten ticket, never got it, sounds fair? yeah, totally.

Yeah these RNG boxes are AWFUL, I don’t care if its your best money income it’s a terrible way to treat your player base.

I sent a ticket to support about this and was essentially told “you don’t meet min requirements, it’s your fault not ours, we refuse to listen, go away” and then I see all these threads magically appear with people having the same problem, I say magically because evidently the issue is all my fault and these threads are a figment of my imagination.

Yeah I know what’s going on, seen plenty a uv map in my time it’s the same issue with the radiant and hellfire items. Seems to happen when another effect is applied over the original particle effect such as the mesmer phantasm glow or the ghostly effect from costume brawl. Also had it happen with the phase shift in arah.

A pixelated mess of UV textures on particle effects.

I was thinking of buying the gw2 ost as a digital dl from direct song, I went to check the price and noticed it was gone. Is there an eta at all for when it will be back? I would love to get my hands on the ost and from what I know there’s no where else to buy it.

Don’t even bother submitting a ticket to support. I was told it was because I didn’t totally meet min requirements on my system (even though ive been playing for a year with no issues then after the latest update suddenly i had issues, totally not a coincidence) so they flat out refused anymore help. They also completely ignored any suggestions I made about possible connection issues. I linked them to these threads and they’re just flat out not responding now, your wasting your time. Hi Sarah, thank you for the title update

Yes I am still having the issue, the first day it occurred I tried relentlessly for hours then just swapping to an alt fixed it but now the problem is on and off persistent with all my characters.

I have filled out a ticket with support, still in contact with them at the moment. Hope it gets revsolved soon as its really annoying having to fight to access anything on the tp/gem store.

Since the latest update my gem store has been completely broken. I spent an hour fighting with it to actually display ANYTHING on the store, after that finally worked I still couldn’t purchase gems or redeem a code. When I click on either option it gives me a blank pop up box, no amount of reseting the game, computer or my internet has solved the issue Ive been sitting waiting for it to load for the past 15 mins and still nothing, not even an error code.

Anyone else got this issue?

Yeah my net isn’t the best, it’s slow but I’ve never had prevelant dc issues like this before, I usually get small spikes and that’s it. Luckily I’m getting rid of this crappy Net soon.

Edit: on teq the previous night I had a lag spike so huge when I got feared I ran all the way to the mountain range on the other side of the area. I’ve never EVER had anything that bad before.

Me and my guildies did a run of arah path 2, we spent a while in there just casually running through it but when it came to the final boss I dced to the character select screen when it’s hp got to like 5%. I logged back on and BAM, outside dungeon, I went back in as i asked them to wait (on mumble) and guess what, no reward, I then dced again just as a kick in the teeth but got back in eventually, ran to the boss and not even a chest.

How is this fair? I spent atleast 2 hours in that dungeon and just because I dced at the end I get nothing?! You need to fix this, if someone tags a boss then dcs they should get the reward when they get back online. Oh and as an extra kick to the crotch when I left the dungeon I got insta killed by a turret because the game decided to throw a 15 sec lag spike in my direction and I was killed when still staring at a loading screen.

Yes, the floor texture and colour choice is very poor, it makes seeing the circles incredibly hard. I dont think Im colour blind but when im in the arena I have to seriously squint to distinguish any kind of circle, this gets even worse when I go into DS, seeing brown on brown is next to impossible.

This needs a fix also they shouldnt insta down you, maybe like 5k off your hp. Punishing players because they cant see the circles is just awful on anets part.

My major problem with this repair cost sink boss is the fact that I CANT SEE THE DAM CIRCLES!!!!

I turn my graphics down to low so theres no random fps drops and to do it with my fps akittens best only to be spammed with red circles I cant see. This is even worse in the second phase (cauz you know MOAR CIRCLZZZZ) and I just cannot see anything.

Also if I could zoom out to see the whole arena that would help SO much. But I expect nothing to be done about this bug riddled boss as per the norm with this stuff.

I love Silent Hill! But when I tried to make this tune it felt like it’s wrong on any flute note. I’m afraid it would be the problem about the ‘sharps’ and ‘flats’ not included to our flute – it takes only clear notes…

Anet made this change to what I thought was the horn only because it sounds like awful (whoever made it needs to be slapped) and the players spamming the highest note brought about this change. Why move it to all instruments? Good to see the minority spoil it for the majority.

Edit: you can “play”, badly, very very badly by mastering the fine at of pressing the key then double tapping it in the right time. This just sounds awful and is more annoying than it should be. Remove this on the flute and bell atleast, they sound nice.

Can anyone get Still Alive? I found part of it on the bell forum but the chorus was slightly messed up (on the flute at least) but the intro was fine.

I just got an answer to my ticket and it looks like its universal for mac users (or atleast some of us). They said to hang tight for a fix.

I just checked my account and it wasnt charged, good. Going to try again just to see if it wasnt a one off error that required restarting the client etc.

EDIT: Just tried again and no, it hung on the confirm screen for a few mins then error -_-

Hey, today I tried to buy some gems and I keep getting the error message when I click confirm. I have a screenshot of the message attached. I tried buying gems twice and got the exact same error both times. I better not of been billed for this!

Two issues I noticed since the new update. The first is the Instigators burning caused by the burning patches. On my necro I cannot remove the burn condition even if I use Consume Conditions and Well of Power, how ever sometimes I can remove it with Putrid Mark but this seems to be random.

The other persisting issue is this:
“Karka spawn will no longer aggressively harass players trying to enter Canach’s Lair.”

They still spawn there! Half the time I die before I even load the area. Its really frustrating having to run alllll the way back.

Ill remember the RNG that angered me and so many other people. Boss was cool but not after the 40th time >>.

Done this dungeon over 40 times now and what have I got to show for it? Nothing, absolutely nothing. Thanks for that anet, you really need to get out of your love relationship with RNG seriously your just alienating people now.

The rich rule the market, poor get doodle squat and are forces in grinding for hours on end. Could of been a remotely good dungeon had RNG not been in the equation. Better get your act together.

Oh yeah after all those runs I’ve never even seen a single exotic insignia, I just want to scream but it feels like I’m talking to a brick wall when it comes to anet and their love for RNG.

Please everything on this list! Still waiting for my last logged on bit but nope, nothing. Also the message of the day is appalling! I can’t even edit sections of it I have to type the WHOLE thing again. Another nice thing would be to have seperate permissions for gold withdrawal/deposit, we keep getting money stolen and then the offending person leaves so I’ve had to block off member access to the stash and give members the trove instead! Why, why, why? I hate having to do that but now members can only use trove and deposit into stash but only higher ranks can withdraw from stash, I just want to let my members use all the features, is it so hard?

Ill try the dungeon again later in the off chance it’s a one off event. But even if it does ping the second time ill bug report it.

I have completed everything except rage against the machines and the two underneath that (one of which requires me to to do rage against the machine). I don’t care for the gauntlets atm, that’s not my question. My question is why did I not get the achievement for doing the dungeon? I did the entire thing and nothing.

Completed all instances and every achievement on the living story section currently. How do I get the gauntlet ticket? Is it the new chest thing on the achievements panel? Ill go check.

Just checked, yeah I see the chest. 4/5 achievements completed so I’m not getting that. The rage against the machine achieve isn’t completed, same for all people in my party. I have done all past achievements.

Me and my guild did the new dungeon, at the end we got the pop up for completing it with our reward etc but none of us got the achievement for completing it. We now cant figure out how to end the story in LA, Holebrak or the Black Citadel.

We’re currently doing various guild bounties and are working towards treks now!

This guild is a PvE orientated guild focusing on causal PvE, Dungeons, Fractals and we usually always have someone on meta event timers do you can get those chests! Some members do WvW however if you want to do some PvP. We frequently have guild buffs running during the week and weekends.

While making a sylvari I noticed that there was this strange white spot covering my eye. I chose the skin colour to be purple and the pattern colour to be white, I have a few other sylvari with the same face and I have never had this issue on any of them (even after creation I went on them and checked).

I thought “well maybe it will go away after character creation”, no, no it hasnt. Maybe I should buy a name change and call my character spot, mittens or any other random pet name.

Just curious if anyone else has the same issue because to my knowledge its new.

This really needs fixed, it hurts my eyes. Its even happened with ranger who has a hawk as a pet. I go around putting them out of their misery if im running through ascalon. Asked my guides if they could see it, none of them could, its probably a mac issue.

This is the first time I’ve ever seen a bug in a game that’s left me momenteraly stunned with confusion.

I was in Kessex Hills and I went to the bandit camp with the heart. I was fighting some bandits then this female pistol bandit agroed me. However when she drew her pistol it was a common skin staff, she them proceeded to fire it like a pistol (animation and all) then seath it like a pistol. After this it transformed into a pistol.

I didn’t managed to get a screenshot of this bug as my brain was still trying to comprehend what had just happened atleast 5mins after she was dead. If I see it again ill be sure to screen cap it. Anyone else seen this?
