I would highly recommend getting authentication on your account AND on your new email. I know google does authentication with your phone.

My Email account didnt send any emails. Arenas automatic reply system send emails about the change of the pw and the authorization of a new ip.

You do know they could send the email then erase the email from the sent folder thus erasing all traces of it being there.

My mac has had the audio cut out randomly, I know its just gw2 because I can still hear the popping noise for the audio going up and down when I turn it up and down.

Perhaps the solution is simple, get 2-3 charges for map completion like how it was before the patch? 1 is just cruel.

Necromancer can do this with plague form and lich form at Jormag, interacting with the flamethrower barrel allows you to pick it up.

Probably works with other transforms like the ele tornado but I’ve not tried.

The OP is talking about how, previously, transmuting items level 79 and below was a third of the cost it is today post-patch. The game was friendlier to characters who used low level armour and weapons, allowing them to cheaply experiment with their style and/or maintain the same style as they updated their gear’s effectiveness every 5-10 levels.

But now you can buy a costume skin and level as many alts as you want in style, just by selecting a checkbox and with no hassle of transmuting armor every 5-10 levels. I call that a bargain.

Depends if you want to spend ££ on a costume, hundreds of gold on gems or even like the costumes in the first place.

Nah at higher levels you have access to dungeons which give around about 50-75% of your exp needed to level per path completion. I suggest finding a guild and doing dungeon runs Dungeons start at lvl 30-35.

Theres also some other ways such as map exploration (theres 5 lvl 1-15 maps), crafting etc which are all decent ways to level, took me 3 weeks to get my first toon to lvl 80 and that was just through map completion.

One thing i can’t figure out is why someone with a star next to their name and a legendary in each hand woud do the QD train. I know since the 15th one of those could be a skin but I’ve been seeing this since the train began. I think if you got a star and 1 legendary you should only get event credit and not the champ bags.

Some people farm karma, some people farm bags (don’t know why) but its certainly not for the money gain when you factor in wp costs. A lot of people level alts on it.

EDIT: Oh and champ/event daily.

I agree but just to refine this a little, it’s some of the people. Most people running the train are polite and well mannered, we should be careful not to tar them all with the same brush just because one or two are behaving badly.

I personally think the train is fine, I sometimes hop on it if I have little time to do my dailies and need events and/or champs but I find it too dull to stay on it for long.

Necro axe is god at blossom clearing in TA but apart form that, meh. When I run my necro as a zerker with my axe and admit I sometimes just swapped it out for my sceptre ._.

Im getting the opposite, I can’t buy anything, Im getting nothing displaying on the item buy page and I get a log in server issue every time I try and load a page on the tp.

What usually its the other way around xD

I also main necro and this issues sadden me but I still take my little salad into dungeons mostly because its my main class, I feel comfy playing as it so I don’t kitten around and mess up my skill timings, die and I try very hard not to mess up combo fields but I run 2 wells so I probably have a lot :’(

As far as I’m aware necro shines in pvp, sadly not pve.

Want to be effective in dungeons, learn to weapon swap, as much as you may love a certain weapon there are times and places, I would never use a GS on my mesmer when stacking with the spider queen, id swap to sword/something else.

Also explore mode dungeons are a huge step in difficulty, you need to learn animations, what attacks you can face tank, what ones you can’t, good skills to use, good weapons to use (I personally have one of each weapon for my necro in my inventory so I can swap out at any time like axe at the TA wurms for blossom clearing if we don’t have a staff guard) and all their attacks.

I would suggest joining a guild that does dungeons runs so you could join them and they could help.

If you do go down the lfg route understand that 99% of the groups there are going to skip because they’re people that have probably done the dungeon hundreds of times, you can make your own lfg and say “no skipping” or something.

Its possible they’re buying a tone of accounts since the game is on sale. Also if you can activate secondary authentication on your email and gw2 account I would recommend doing so.

Res the npcs in the heart quest above Nebo Terrace (I believe). Or go to any npc area that has a boss spawn like the hylek place were the krait witch spawns, just avoid her at all costs.

Also I have never been forced into pvp or wvw to do my dailies yet. Even though some are really boring like dodger, its easy enough to do them. Go to a world boss with aoes and spam dodge. Or daily gatherer, while your waiting for an event or running from A to B hit the nodes near your path.

We only use our tags for guild bounties so its easier for people to figure out where the mark is if someone with a tag is already there, we have 3 tags and sometimes 4, it depends who’s online.

People with tags are sometimes not experienced so don’t assume that. Perhaps a solution would be to turn off tags in your options like you can player instruments.

EDIT: I haven’t personally looked at the AC lfg in a long time, I don’t usually do AC, last time I did (early last week) I didn’t see anything suspicious like that.

You do realise that this person may of had guildies in the party, they got to the end, 4 left, instance leader sells spots, gold split between guildies.

Ive also heard of other classes soloing instances, its possible if someone is good enough.

Not saying there are no exploiters but there are other possibilities to this situation.

This is experience from all of the 3 parties I joined (with those titles), one guy openly admitted half way through the Aether path that him and his 2 friends also in the party had no idea what they were doing, I spent 3 hours in that dungeon trying to help and just gave up (he said “experienced only” in the lfg).

The other 2 time the party wiped once and everyone just started shouting, it was enough to make me leave.

I don’t care what class or build or what the hell you run as long as your willing to listen (if you don’t know what your doing). You might call me that but again this is how I’ve been shaped by such a toxic community.

Oh yeah I’m not saying everyone is like that in those groups, I’m sure a vast majority of them are really nice people but from my experience I’ve been stuck in a group with the most sour sections of the community effectively turning me off those parties.

I pug all the time and I actively avoid any “zerkerz onlizzz plzzz” or “+6 or more k AP onlizz plox” parties, I also avoid ones that exclude any classes.

My general experience from parties the few times I was in them was everyone was hostile and you felt like you were in some kind of exam about to be whipped across the knuckles if you made the slightest mistake, elitist, people faking being an elitist to get other people to carry them, people who have no idea how to play the game.

The pugs I do run with are usually very friendly and great to chat with, surly thats much for enjoyable than sitting in cof p1 with your butt cheeks clenched so tightly your eyeballs are about to explode, holding a stop clock to figure out how much this run took.

Also to the guy who kicked the clerics guys, I’m sorry you deserve the kick, if I saw someone do that in a dungeon I would immediately request a kick to that person, have fun :v

Why would some one recommend Crossover when the question clearly said that low game speed was an issue? Crossover is slower than the A-Net Mac client. I run the game in Crossover when I need to reliably use the Trading Post, but never to actually play.

Depends on your system. I run some things on crossover and have no speed issues. Both of them run on wrappers and crossover provides a 30 day free trial, how dare i suggest something that is completely free to try and that the OP would loose nothing by trying.

Last time I reported this issue I got told that it was my fault because I didnt meet min spec, Im now playing on a comp that meets the rec. spec and same issue. So after having an argument and basically cracking my skull against a brick wall of “we don’t care” I don’t feel like reporting it :/

The best thing to do is Block, Report, Continue. I also take it upon myself to skip the blocking bit and screenshot chat and send it off to the devs when I make a report Do what you want, I sometimes do the champ train but I don’t give a flying toss if person X kills champ Y before the train gets there, big deal, I get to wait what 5 mins for the next one to spawn.

Ive seen trains chew up groups of new players for killing the champs, its pretty immature, just live knowing you more mature than most of these players and you’ll feel better.

Wait will Putrid Explosion still be unblock able with the Greater Marks trait? Also I thought engi was in a pretty bad state, why the nerf?

Using built in speakers so thats not the issue and I was in a dungeon of 5 people standing around not fighting.

I know that guardians were silent to other players when they used their shouts for a while now but recently Ive noticed that warrior are also silent. Is this intentional?
