Also here is what my though about the ranger problem.

The problem actually lies with ANET mindset. They are so protective of PVE that all spvp players are suffering. Of course Pve catuals might suffer abit if my idea for rangers was implemented but again this can be worked on.

There are many things that can be done to avoid it, for example seperating these skills from pve. So that SPVP players can use these skills in pvp on their own while in pve the AI use it for them. This would avoid the problem that Jon talked about. But again the first step is definitely working on the AI so that it doesn’t run around doing nothing.

Team Sync is definitely one of the best teams in the game and is the best team in NA. They are all great people, We have had a lot of fun hanging out with them,
It wouldn’t have been the same if was another team. All of them are laid back and fun to hang out with "EVEN Davinci ".

We will definitely be seeing a lot of Scrims between [CC] And [SYNC] in the future!

All of the matches was very close, Specially Khylo! You guys almost gave me a heart attack!

Most top players have AA off to stop attacking in confusion, I am lazy so most of the time I have it on but I turn it off when I face a good team" if they have a mesmer or engineer" but if you face a good Mesmer/ engineer than you should definitely have it off otherwise you will die from confusion.

Update your graphic card, sometimes its the graphic card that cause the lag because it is not updated, Also check if it is FPS lag if it is than its definitely Graphic card problem that needs to be updated. if you only had lag today than its server lag because i had lag spikes for 2-3 minutes every 1 hour or so…

Also make sure you are experienced in WvW or SPVP!

So a lot of people have been wondering, is it just luck or is it always temple. I have now played over 300 solo queue games and 30 team queue games since map rotation been out. So far out of about 30 team queue games I had temple about 25-27 times.
Now for solo queue, I have played over 300 solo queue games, about 80-85% of these games was on temple. If 350 games have been played and the percentage of temple is over 80% and it’s not a bug than I do not know what random is.

I have already seen a thread about it but i did not believe it, Well now after 350 games of these map rotation and after over 300 games in temple out of 350 games I DO!

Please fix it, I am 99.9% sure it is a bug and it is not random. I am pretty sure many people have the same problem since I’ve asked about 8 players and they said the same.

Please fix it as playing 80% of the time on that map is getting boring.

Also if you can’t play at least 3 days a week than don’t bother applying as we want members who are willing to learn even if they are good.

Solo queue does not bring any competition to the game and will not make good teams form so we will never have good Tournaments at this rate.

So today I played a daily tournament in gw1. To my surprise it was 5 rounds which means the game is still kinda active in that part anyways. People still play monthly as well. Which means all the top teams still play that daily tournament at primetime where 1 team is crowned winner for the day.

So to my point, Does ANET have any plans to add a daily/monthly tournament. To be honest adding a daily tournament 2x a day or at least 1 in primetime with a bigger prize than the normal chest" maybe GEMS? HELL YA!

Adding a daily tournament would mean all TOP Teams will be playing at that same time which mean BIG competition which is nowhere to be found at the moment. Having a daily tournament would also mean " Easier time for shoutcasters " as they would know when all the top teams start playing. This will increase the GW2 competetion in pvp and all casuals will be watching shoutcasters casting these primetime daily tournaments which leads to more people starting SPVP.
At the moment, There is literally 2-3 teams max that plays in primetime which is ridiculous. And the queue time is insane. Adding a daily tournament will mean people will know when the actual tournament starts and will all be ready for it.

Daily tournament is one of the best things that happened to gw1. So why not add it to gw2? I mean it is really simple a daily tournament where you get gems for being in top 3. Who wouldn’t play it…

Now about Monthly tournament. This is where EVERY SINGLE TEAM plays it in gw1. The prize is only a goldcape and a title which says this was the best team this month, something like that anyways. Having a monthly tournament would actually bring a meaning to the “GUILD WARS” which is suppose to GUILD VS GUILD and not PUG VS PUG. Having a similar mechanics to gw2 from that of gw1 which means you get points for being in top 8 of the daily to be allowed to play that monthly tournament. This will make all the top teams active even if it’s for a short amount of time.

A daily tournament will mean more people will be forced into forming a guild [team] which is the whole point of " Guild Wars ". It would also mean top guilds will have a gem/gold income for being the best in the game.
Easier for shoutcasters/ Viewers.
More active primetime scene
More teams playing.
Less pug groups
and the list goes on and on…

So now back to the main question, Does ANET have any plans on adding these kind of tournaments? I know you guys will not say when if you do but I will ask anyways, WHEN will you be adding it. I know for a fact that it has been mentioned few months ago but was never touched.

SYNC QUEUE IS NOW ON A WHOLE DIFFERENT LEVEL. I just faced 4 people who i faced 6 GAMES IN A ROW! YES I MEAN IT, 6 GAMES IN A ROW. I just went from top 30 to top 150 because i lost 6 games in a row to 4 players who synced who are all on the same teamspeak. NOW I HAVE TO ADD them to Friend LIST just to see when they are in game so i can queue? PLEASE FIX IT PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE! After 100 solo queue fun games and 70% w/l ratio i started facing only syncers. its on a whole different level now…

i know for a fact that Azshene did not sync as I was in his team about 3-4 times. I guess he just got lucky and managed to get in the same team as me so i can carry him! But no seriously he did not sync, I was in his team 3-4 times before and we had total randoms in our team.

Totally agree, I’ve even tested it. SYNCING definitely work. This is no solo Q! I’ve played over 100 solo q matches so far. 20% of them was syncers.

So I was playing some Solo Queue today, I won a game, after I got the winning glory and my team had 500 points I left " about 5 second after my team had 500 points" I left straight away and went to heart of mist, I did not get a chest neither the 150 glory for winning and I also got a loss for it. Is this intended or is it a bug?

Made a video for people who are wondering which permanent finisher they want to buy from the gem store as you can’t preview them. I bought all of them!

So I’ve played few solo q games, and so did my team. We had about 15 matches in total. Every match was either 4v5 – 5v4 – 4v4 – 5v3. The amount of leavers is just ridiculous. Is there a ban time on these leavers yet? It’s getting out of hand. In my opinion it should be at least 1h solo q ban for them for leaving!

1- GW2 Does not have the player base for this. Team Queue will have 30-60 mins queues for sure, unless it’s prime time.
2- There is already Custom arenas for this kind of thing, if you want to scrim just use custom arena…
3- Positive thing is that some players will actually start playing on their main all the time and stop hiding behind second account for months " Symbolic". Which means less people will buy second accounts= less money for anet. so I doubt that will ever happen.

if you really want them to do that, they would also have to do this:
Nerf fire damage on necro by 50%
nerf fear damage by 60%
nerf deathshroud duration

Steppenwolf I totally agree with you. You guys are doing a fantastic job. All shoutcasters and ML organizers and we really appreciate it. I really think ANET needs to step up their game and start taking responsibilities with these tournaments. Hopefully they will do in the future!

You guys need get this straight because some of you have a big misunderstanding of this matter.
[CC] is not whining [maybe only Posi :P], we are simply stating what happened and what needs to be improved for next week’s NA tournament. We do not want the same thing that happened to us to happen again. We would never ask for a rematch even if it was allowed. I would have created this topic about Tournament organizing improvment even if we won, I talked to the organizers 2 days before the tournament when the brackets was displayed and we saw that [TP] plays 1 day before us and steppenwolf can prove that, [CC] and [NN] complained about it 2 days before the tournament as we tried to make it more fair so that all teams enters the final rested or both teams enter exhausted [ well not really exhausted but ya drama is drama :P]

TP definitely deserved to win as they changed from their weak class to the most op setup in the current meta 1 week before the tournament and worked kitten them.

As for bo3 and bo5 it is definitely [CC]’s fault for not complaining when it was mentioned.

The final was played on the same day so we had 1 team exhausted and 1 team not, but that can’t be avoided for obvious marketing reasons. So it wasn’t really the organizers fault for that, the only mistake they made is the bo5. And that hopefully won’t happen in next week’s NA tournament.

Teldo, you was terrible in the first 3 match and I know that you know it, you lost every 1v1 to me, but omg that 2v1 in forest, you turned the whole match upside down. that was kitten to the highest level. Also I still remember beating you and phanta 2v1, 2 weeks ago on temple but I couldn’t stomp you. Hopefully i will do it next time like you kitten d me and nag :P, I guess winning every duel against you in that tournament was because of my build or because I just got lucky or I am just OP since I have 300 games on engineer, I guess that inexperience on my class showed when you killed me 2v1 and I didn’t even drop my elixer or elite since I didn’t think you were that good.

Also Grouch. For god sake, stop saying that [CC] runs a meta comp every time you shoutcast us. Did you even look at [TP]’s comp? it is the exact same but with a spirit ranger which is 10x more OP than ele, This is even more meta comp. We find it very rude and we would like you to stop saying [CC] is the team who runs the meta comp every time, that is unless you start saying [TP] is running the best meta comp in game at the moment. We practiced khylo a lot so that we can end it their as we had no chance in foefire Due to the OP Spirit ranger on that map. Xeph is definitely right, We should have just asked the admins to make it a best of 3 like it says on the rules. Good job to TP and good luck in Seattle, " not that you will need it". We can end it here I guess as we got a clarification from MG admins.

If GW2 will ever be come “ESPORT” this shouldn’t happen, even if the final match was between the best 2 EU teams and to give the viewers nice matches. All they have to do next time is simply play the final or semi finals on a second day or have all games played in 1 day. That would ensure that all teams have a fair amount of rest and they are not exhausted.

You just don’t get it xeph do you. I am not calling for foul play or anything of that matter. I am simply asking the organizers to make it more fair next time by playing all games with both finalist in 1 day or make the final on another day. The tournament was great and the organizers did a great job. I am just trying to put some ideas out now anyways. None of the results will change eitherway.

Ok, we can drop the bo5 and bo3 think. I would just want to ask the organizers and the people who will organize the upcoming tournament to make it fair by having the games played in 1 day and not one team plays all day and the other comes for 1 match.

Can’t believe you didn’t mention spirit rangers. They can bunker almost as good as guardians and they deal insane amount of damage. Necros need a big nerf and ANET knows it. S/D thief is not OP. if you can’t deal with S/D than you are just bad. S/D thief already got a nerf last patch they shouldn’t change it. I’v played against many S/D thiefs as engineer and i never had any trouble against any of them apart from the lady nag nag. if you are basing your statement about thief’s on specific individuals than your out of your mind. It’s like saying engi’s are OP just because teldo kills everyone 1v1. I do believe it is slightly OP just like bomb kit engi but it should never get a nerf. Also warriors and mesmers need a big buff because they bloody suck at the moment.
guardians / engi/ ele are the most balanced professions.
