LOL “smooth launch”
Crashes every 10 minutes apart, HoT looks great. Very frustrating.
Finally, I could open the launcher and download the game. Now, I would like to play it without continuous crashes. I’m afraid that will not happen.
Rage mode off. Just downloading now. I will wait until the download finish and see.
I suggest to delete all and try.
Restarting? I’ve deleted any trace of the application, even in Library, tried to reinstall it and the client doesn’t launch. No word from ANet? This is infuriating.

Refund and state this game non playable for Mac.

I deleted the game and tried to reinstall it. Not working. The client doesn’t launch and support from AN doesn’t answer my request.

You, guys, are lucky. I bought HoT today. Endless download, countless crashes and now I can’t open the window launcher, so I can’t start the game.

At this point (one week without playing the game), I must say that the suggestions from the assistance service seem sent by bots. It seems they have a predetermined sequence to, no matter what’s the problem. ANet, this isn’t nice, at all.
Yeah, 6th day and here. I’ll keep the app open, maybe it decides to run at 12th.
One more. 5 days and counting. Some suggestions from assistance service, no result. Please guys, fix it.
I’ve encountered the same issue, though the circumstances are slightly different. My game crashed about a day ago, bringing up an error code that I didn’t bother to screenshot because I didn’t think I needed to… It’s happened frequently enough and the game has relaunched just fine in the past. Since the crash however, whenever I try to start up the application, the icon just sits in the dock as if it’s active, but the launch window doesn’t appear. Force-quitting has proven the only way to close it. I tried reinstalling it as well, but the issue persists.
Just like me. I didn’t get the error code, otherwise my problem is the same. 4 days and some suggestions from assistance service, but no result.

Anet please repair the client, everyone on MAC could play with better experience.

Reinstalling. I think it’s a connection issue now. That (“Failed to connect”) is what appears in Console. No problem otherwise.
I don’t get this error code, instead a “Failed to connect” message from Console app. Two days and counting, one “answer” from assistance (they say someone will answer me). So bad.
I’m not better. The installation is finished in seconds (?), but I can’t connect with servers. So bad.
Well, I think the client is currently unavailable. Only 90 MB to download. I said myself it was so fast to.
I got out of the game as always when there are much people in the map (sigh). It seems this time the crash is definitive: I can’t open the client now.
Oh! Of course, I’ve downloaded it again.

Event Completer: Down (event’s hunters).
Vista Viewer: Up (easy, awesome).
Daily gathering: Down (boring, decent reward although).
Daily Fractal: Up (full run, all tiers).
World bosses: Up (a limit of players would be great).
Daily Activity Participation: Down (not for me).
Daily Exotic Crafter: Up (good reward).
Daily Mystic Forger: Down (don’t play lottery).
Crashes are continuous for “Mac client”. Go to an event like Jormag and get kick off just before the end… Nothing new, no hope.
That (bring back) will not happen: the developers would have to assume the error. Well, maybe is not an error: the teams (not hardcore ones) are happy, and farming…
They want that teams play as soon as possible, even if the match is uneven.
What about Unranked for Solo and Ranked for Team?

Crashes are everywhere. It isn’t a matter of graphic card (GTX 680 MX), it’s the crap wrap. The worst is that ANet won’t do anything.
Don’t say Mac client, say Mac crash (or Mac crap). The new Megaserver system, that is, the new Megazerg system make the game unplayable for mac users.

BLTP never works on mac. At best, it works like holy crap: log out, log in, log out… And again, it doesn’t work at all. It would be better if ANet said: ‘We never going to fit it on mac. Do you understand?’.
