I just want G vs G mode in WvW (using WvW gear not structured), make it an instance in WvW like the JP is an instanced area, and give perks to the guild and server they fight for, and that will make most skirmish guilds happy. They can call it the Hall of Heroes and everytime a Guild wins for their server it is announced Server Wide. It can also open up a dungeon or dungeons that only that server can have access to. They could call it Fissure of Woe, or Underworld. Oh wait, they had that in GW1, didn’t they?

Since CnD is not an exploit, it isn’t breaking integrity. There’s a simple way to counter a CND thief…leave some necro traps, or camp the dead bodies, and spam one. In most keeps/towers there are only a limited number of walls that can hit for damage, so just spam your 1 near there, or lay some AoE’s, and you can find the thief nice and fast!

Well it dose help to paint your guild in a special light. IF this is how you want to act then go right ahead.

All your ideas for what we need to do is not doable in any way shape or form. We do not have time to check every wall every few secound for one kittenhief who can perma stealth. We are already stretched thin holding what we have taken and if have to use 20 mins hunting down a single thife then that is 20 mins less for supply, 20 mins less to fight, 20 mins less to try and force the fight a way.

There are many questionable things in this game, but that thing has no counter at the moment. It is not only a few walls if you do it right you can go stealth on every dam attackable wall and even when i have enough i can spread my entire army out for 20 mins on a outer wall. We would lose every thing else on the map.

Funny, I see no shortage of Blackgate players using Skale Venom and tossing gears/spiky fruit. I guess the memo on playing “honorably” didn’t get circulated enough…

C&D doesn’t need to be nerfed anymore than it has been. I have no issue with nerfing the trait “Mug” to do less damage, and making it so you can’t cloak off the wall with C&D, but C&D as a skill is just fine.

I actually have your ele fighting him on video btw and he bowed to him in the middle of a fight and went away. I didn’t jump in because Mel wanted to 1v1 him behind the ruins.

That would be great. I understand after I logged last night, you dueled Mel twice. We are usually on NA EST Prime Time. Let me Gully or Mel know and we can set something up for some GvG. Fighting you guys last night was a lot of Fun. We were going at it with HK a lot last night too. They didn’t do so well, but to be fair, they had a lot of up-leveled players on the field last night.

LOL, someone stole my headline, that’s just wrong. Anyways, IMO, all consumables in PvE should be nerfed in WvW period.

Much Worse. I was completely alone the other day outside out keep in EB, and the enemy sentry guard didn’t appear in front of me for more than 2 seconds. The sentry guard folks! C’mon Man!

Lag was terrible at certain times on Kaineng BL tonight. Serious Skill Lag too.

Best Tier Thread Ever!

I wish there was a way to merge EU and NA servers to one Ranking in WvW and we all played each other.

I would have no problem if they added smaller Maps to WvW later that field lower pops so people can do smaller scale fights but the Big Maps should be all out large scale war, that’s the point of WvW.

My SoS Ritualist running Sabway is so OP, I could kill every Thief and Ele in WvW at once, so there! While you’re at it, turn on Hard Mode and I’ll still kill all you kittens crying for Mommy. XD

Everything that I would say has been said 10 times over. I just want it on record, as a huge GW and GW2 event, this was very disappointing and not your finest moment Anet. I just hope you learn from this and don’t make the same mistakes on the next event. BTW, my friends that I invited to play the trial heard nothing but complaining in chat the whole time and it turned them off. The free trial + this event was even a worse idea. I love what you guys have done with the game thus far, so I’m hoping this is just a minor set back and you get back to delivering quality content again.

As a former member of the KISS Alliance in Guild Wars, I have to say this is a GREAT guild. Ebay is lucky to get you. I was in KISS for more than two years, and have the greatest respect for the leaders and officers of the guild. It was a tough choice for me to go with Blackgate at launch with my friends but I agreed it was better to be on an NA server for my timezone. Wish you all the best of luck!

Rendering is a flaw in WvW, stop blaming the Thief. If you don’t like the mechanic, then learn to counter it, like everyone else who knows what they are doing. I’m so tired of these threads. L2P skilled players can counter thieves easily.

IMO, there should be one ladder for all servers globally. If you are going to let transfers between each, then just merge them all and let us all fight it out.

Just a shout out to my Peeps on Beastgate! Don’t listen to this hacker crap, or worry about the 2v1. Just keep fighting the good fight. I have Mad respect for you all for getting us here to T1 and we will keep fighting our arses off! Peace.

I’m on Blackgate, and we placed TC last week. I play mostly during NA primetime, and I can tell you they have some great and skilled guilds/players. We had one guy come over and duel me from the other team, while my buddy’s backed up. No one interfered, and we went at it, which was fun as hell. They get their coverage straight and more organization, they will move up.

Yea the top 6 servers wont be the top 6 in a couple weeks I cann assure you of that while these transfers are open. Really 2 weeks ago ET and HoD were top 6, next week they will both be in tier 3 probably

And the list doe alot more harm then good. Being on JQ I can tell you if the people keep xfering in we wont be in tier 1 cause for the most part the bandwagoners are horrible and just take up space.
Very hard to be effective when more then half your guild is in a queue and the “I never buy siege, I never carry supply, I take supply from garrison and keeps to repair walls being trebbed, I auto attack reinforced doors, I wander around mindlessly with anyone with a blue icon crew” is in their place

I think Anet could continue to phase out free transfers. Instead of limiting to 24 hours, limit to once a week while we have weekly match ups. Then as the brackets stabilize, they can go to charging gems for transfers. I just hope we don’t go to bi-weekly match ups anytime soon. I’m on Blackgate (and have been there since launch) and this would be terrible for us.

Yeah no other mmorpg has european servers……and there are more european then us servers, so probaly the playerbase is bigger in europa then in the usa (considering asians/oceanics are playing on us servers and there are still more europe servers)
but sure, we should be thankful that we get our own servers. The reason is of course because Arenanet likes us in europe so much and not the money they get from us…

The difference is, the tier 1 servers organize it themselves to be competive during nighttime. There is no significant number of french speaking canadians on vizuna or arborstone and elone reach as a german server has no overseas help, because all german speaking countries are in the same timezone. About half of the european servers are either french or german and they have no possibility to recruit american guilds. So guilds like Ruin are destroying the european brackets for half of the european servers, because they coulnd’t compete on their own servers and transfered to europe to fight against gates.

I think one of the reasons there are more EU servers than NA is due to the multiple languages. Personally I wish all the Servers were on one list and competed in WvW regardless. I heard the EU servers were housed on the east coast of the US anyways. So why don’t we just all play each other?

The TL:DR Summary of the OP is L2P.

Top Rigs still have rendering issues in massive fights even with the patch. Nothing we can do about it. Many people hate thieves simply because they do not understand the class and know how to counter. To make things worse, tons of people have flocked to WvW with thieves to take advantage of stealth. I started playing thief long before anyone posted the Bleed, Pistol Whip, Heartseeker, or Backstab burst builds, and love the class. I can tell you that 90% of the noobs that want the flavor of the day will stop once the majority of people figure out how to counter the low health glass cannon builds and move on to the next flavor of the day.

Xaint, Riven, Squooshie, The Champ, and Lifa are all good commanders on Beastgate

I would like to see it have it’s own instance and not count toward the Queue for WvWvW.

We took SM with all 3 servers fighting in the Lord Room and no one could see anything. Everyone was invisible. The battle took forever before we took it. I still think there is a problem with skills that will not activate in large battles due to lag and that needs to be fixed too. 5 second delay on heals = death.

Yep, same issue with me. At first I thought this was lag, but too many others having the same issue on my server in WvW. It has to be more than just lag.
