Haha ah this match up is to funny! So me who is in AR and my guild form a group to take a henge camp bluevale. We deck this camp out and hold off henge with all our might. We just keep killing their mini zergs they bring. Then next thing we know they bring a commander with his lets see about 15-20 man zerg to stop 5 anvil rock players.. GG henge GG. Hope to kill you guys some more with just 5 of us! :)

Oh wow, you guys are like… so good! If only the rest of us could aspire to be as awesome as you guys. Nobody ever camps out in a camp until a zerg wipes them out! Wowee! You’ve revolutionized WvW with this. This doesn’t happen multiple times a night, no way that it happens every day multiple times! So awesome! We had great fun holding it today against HoD’s unamused 25 man zerg when they came around knocking after what we did in their BL, then wiped a good proportion of it when they finally got into the tower, all with a small man group. Plus some brave pugs. It was a fun night, and makes me feel better about this matchup c:

You realize you’re talking to someone from AR and 30-man zergs don’t exist on our server, right? Hell, you could even count minions, pets, mesmer clones, and NPCs and you still wouldn’t get to 30, LOL. O.o

Not being mean, I just thought it was a great time on our part. Respect to all AR players that are still out there putting up a fight. We’ve had our good and bad times, don’t get disencouraged by a score. Wishing you guys best of luck and hope you can get some more guys out in WvW soon! :-)

I’m surprised ET is so hateful against HoD lol. I personally love you guys and finding random duels and skirmishes, especially with the BS group I always see roaming around. As for only fighting you, I have yet to push in any of your territories, aside from small group play looking for duels. I guarantee that the majority of us are busy with SF. If you are being pushed, it’s either a guild doing their own thing, or a smaller zerg. That being said, you’ve surprised us all with the effort you’ve put in this week and I hope it continues.

Well sorry to interrupt all the hate, but it’s been fun with ET and FC again. Had more enjoyable duels once more with ET, FC hasn’t been too friendly hope that changes soon! Also, sorry for the condescending posts that some of us have posted, I can assure you we do not all think alike. Keep up the fights guys, hope you can bring some more bodies out before the week ends!

If anyone wants to 2v2 or 3v3, I’m working on some smaller group tactics, so feel free to add me!

Shout out to the fellow Charr commander in [KING] that I fought on the tiny edge on the side of HoD’s Hill’s cliff. Funniest thing I’ve seen all week hahaha I couldn’t stop laughing seeing two Charr try to knock each other off. This is all I thought about while we tried to fight on that tiny rock:

Just wanted to pop in and say great fighting on SF BL tonight. Had a blast with you guys, especially in Redlake and Hills.

Don’t listen to anything people have said so far. Revert back to the 12.10 drivers, and you’ll be fine.

The 13.X drivers gave me the exact same problems, it’s a known issue. Go back to 12.X drivers and you’ll have no problems. Speaking from experience, haven’t had a crash since. Until AMD and GW2 get along with 13.X drivers, I’m not updating.

Check your driver version, I can put money on it you have the 13.X driver. I reinstalled Windows 8, then installed the 12.10 drivers for the XFX R7770 card.

Joined Phaze by a random invite after coming back from a 5 month hiatus. Ever since then, I’ve made tons of progress and made many friends. If it wasn’t for Phaze, I would have either transferred or stopped playing. I’ve never been a part of such an active guild. By active, I mean aspects of the ENTIRE game. Want to run dungeons? Easily able to find a group. Want to party up in WvW? Usually half our people are in WvW. 1v1 spar in pvp? No problemo. Great guild, great members… JOIN US!

If you don’t mind, would anyone tell me how I can revert to the 12.4 driver for Windows 8 64-bit? I have the exact same card and problem and I’m sick of playing on my laptop.

I’m not here to complain, just to seek help. I’m unable to play GW2 steadily on my desktop. The reason it concerns me is because this is the only game that has ever affected my PC. Another reason that has me stumped is that I have played it on my laptop since the first BWE, and not ONCE has it crashed. It’s confusing because my PC has a lot more power behind it.

Mind you, I’m not super tech savvy, but I understand how the majority of computers work and I’ve upgraded my 2005 PC to meet todays standards.

I’ve played Skryim on High, Borderlands 2, Dead Space 2, Planetside… etc, some fairly demanding games and never experience a crash until GW2.

For specs, I have a PC running Windows 8 64-bit, 6 gigs of RAM, Intel Quad Core @ 2.5 GHz, and an XFX 7770. It’s no beast, but like I’ve said, I never had a problem playing games.

On the other hand, my laptop has Windows 8 64-bit, 4 GB of ram, Intel i5, and an nVidia GTS 360M GPU. It’s run GW2 great so far.

Can someone give me some insight on why I’m experiencing this? It just doesn’t make since to me. I’ve tried all of the advice given online and in the stickies. MSI afterburner underclocking, updating drivers, reinstalling, changing in game options, etc… It’s weird too, because the temperature of my GPU never goes above 50 °C.

I will say that I just got the new 13.4 AMD drivers yesterday and uninstalled Avast. I tried logging in and I got maybe 2 hours of gameplay again, until I went to Shatterer and the black screen happened again.

Guild Wars 1 was pretty crappy at first, if I remember correctly, but after all of the expansions and patches it was great.

ANet doesn’t have any plans for expanding as of now, since they’re focusing on improving the base game, but I believe they’ll come out with some good extra content in the near future.

I was literally falling asleep while trying to level when I was in the snow area.

Stop worrying about leveling as fast as possible and just enjoy the game. If you’re not into that, then there’s not much help anyone can give.

And on top of THAT, the thing about this game that makes it better than others is FREEDOM. You don’t have to level by going from point A -> B. You can do events like you’ve been doing, craft, explore the map, do jumping puzzles, helping in WvW, etc… You’re just used to the traditional routine of leveling in an RPG. I quit after I hit level 80 a week or two after release from spamming CM runs before they got nerfed. I was burned out and quit, until I came back a month ago and started playing again. Pretty shocked at how much I missed out on.

My Asus G60JX from 2009 runs this game fine on Med-High settings. Average around 40 fps. My desktop crashes with this game cause of my XFX R7770 card, so I have to settle with my laptop, but surprisingly it’s pretty good.

Shout healing warrior has been my favorite for dungeons.

10/0/30/30/0 traits, full cleric armor with 6 superior soldier runes, sapphire accessories, and cleric hammer/rifle.

Use Mending, FGJ, Shake It Off, On my Mark, and Signet of Rage or Warbanner

Not meant for DPS by any means, but you can spike heal about 6k every 25 seconds to your party, and ~12k for yourself with mending. Each shout removes a condition too.

Most wars go for pure DPS, but I found support to be way more fun. Especially if you have another support player, your team is practically invulnerable. Feels good when your party brags about it

Berserker Armor + GS/Longbow for crazy burst damage

Cleric Armor + Hammer/Rifle for a good shout heal and tank

Only two I use for PvE and love em both. The shout heal is generally for dungeons and pvp, and the burst builds are good for general farming

Same thing with my XFX R7770. Just started playing again after a long break. This has never happened before on my PC and laptop until yesterday. What gives? It’s extremely disappointing to come back excited to play and you can’t even play. It’s not my hardware, i’ve already ruled that out.
