i was talking in spvp chat and we decided that engis are the underpowered class

so is that true,do you need some traits redesign and an dmg buff? and what is your class best at?

this seem to be the ONLY bulid i can’t destroy you knock me back so much and lay nice traps where i land lol. if a ele killed you, what did he do(kill pets first)?

we need an buff to our dmg and fix some of our traits AND THAT ANNOYING MIST FORM 20% less cd bug

it stills has an 75 sec cd even if you get cantrips mastery i checked also

the 20% less cd on cantrips does not work on mist form that is all

i turened offf my fire wall fixed problem no i can’t go on internet thx to this stuput avg firewall becuase i need it FML and avg you r so mean

The downstate could use a way to avoid the first stomp, but other than that ele is fine.

I run with 0 toughness and rarely die. Here’s a screenshot of the last hotjoin match I played. Not a single death in that match or the one before it.

I have no comment on tournament play but it seems the consensus is that the downstate is the only major issue.

all i do is crit your on henge of denrvi i bet my ele could kill yours my ele name is neil diamond i killed all i do is crit gs warrior.

I am not using any cookie cutter and I feel being strong somehow. Running with sword/dagger + shortbow, build for 30 shadow arts, 30 acrobatics and 10 deadly arts. Using runes or Rata Sum + enchant on weapon, what increase weakness duration by 30% + 10% from deadly arts. Added Scale Venom for permanent weakness with venomous aura trait.

What does it give to me?
I can counter every glass canon build I ever met in sPvP yet. Not only thieves. And if I can’t kill somebody, I just run away with shortbow or infiltrator’s strike. Also, I cannot be insta gibbed by any burst,thanks to extra toughtness and vitality.

So, no – instead of complaining, learn some new builds and stop reading these dumb guides from “pros” with one week game experience. PvP isn’t only around damage and big numbers, it’s also around tactic, utility and support.

you can’t kill an good ele you will be knocked back thrn he will uuse churring earth you will run away then lightning flash on you dealing 5k burst with 7 bleed then switch to air blind and arc lightning without the use of mist form

you can make bulids and save them so if you press hero and go to bulids section you can see all the bulids you save and press them to copy what your traits are and weapons/armour(if there in your inventory) i play an ele sometimes in wvw i wanna switch to an s/d bulid then switch to an healing ele for dungeons or etc. ALSO you can not bulid switch in combat and when you bulid switch it has an 1 min CD( to prevent exploits) for wvw make it have an 3 m cooldown if you have been in combat so you can’t just switch for an 1v1 kit if you see anouther person comming) and in spvp( make it they can only bulid swap in heart of the mists)

the balanced power bulid 20 air 30 water 20 arcane

water get cleaning wave cantrips regen trait and cantrips 20% less cooldowns

for air get bolt to the heart and 20% less CD on air abiltys

for arcane get elemental attunement and vigor on crit

WEAPONS S/D septer and dagger both with crit runes. armour get the air rune which gives you crit dmg(6 of them) ammy beserkers ammy with beserker jewel.

healing skill get the aura of restoration you get 240 life per cast

slot skills lightning flash mist form or cleaning flame, then arcane wave

combos fire combos" press 4 then in the circle press 2 and 3 where ever you want(try to hit person) and dragon tooth is not an dmg ability it is an might buff abilty becuase dragon tooth will never hit your target. now water just cast 2 healing ablitys and frost armour spam shatter stone if you can.

air press ride the lightning then airdraft then 321

earth this is my fave press 2 for Armour or another attack. press 3 for blind use 4 for knock back and use churning earth with tele, when casting churning earth mase sure it is not going to hit him so he will run away then cast lightning flash while using churning earth to tele on him then the churning earth will go off dealing an insane amount of dmg with 8 bleed.

EDIT use arcane blast with ring od fire it gives you might also even if it will not hit the target

is it better then necros? i am looking to reroll i hate my ele compared to other classes. i don’t care if this class has an high skill cap i mastered ele but i put to much effort to kill one person….. so how is this class?

i play an warrior and one used 3 sigs on me and slowly killed me while i was trying to get my gs combo on him then i switched to axe/shelid prepared everate and i missed… then he killed me with an fire condition sig, that sig does 4k dmg nerf that and nerf that earth sig that stun you. anyone ele agree?

man ele are so weak lol stun hundred blades AND IF THAT DOES NOT kill him(if he has points into toughness) switch to axe/ shield everate and dead. i love that class i wish more people played it so i can get some glory points

i know engi needs it and so does ele we are an cloth 1 shot class that people enjoy facerolling

yeah when i play this game ( my specs are very good it is an amd grapics card and processor i think) i can run skyrim at ultra with perf fps what is going on and if i don’t get my problem fix can i atleast get an refund or an were sorry also when my pc shuts off it is not due to over heating(cleaned it and checked) sigh i can’t enjoy anything anymore i like this game but i can’t play it sigh. PS tech support forums is dead minus well access everyone’s help. i know how to see my comp specs all of it but i can’t copy and paste it or do i have to do word for word

it shuts off my pc i tried putting it on low and it shuts off after 30 or 15 mins of play also my pc surpasses your recromended specs for ultra or high, i don’t know the cause but diablo 3 made my pc shut off evry two hours i fixed it by limiting fps, i tried for gw2 and it did not work so i got a game that is fun but won’t let me play it fml

The problem is obviously your computer’s hardware. The fact that you don’t even know how to get the specs of your computer shows you are beyond clueless.
Anet is responsible for your problem, nor can they help you.
There’s a defect in your computer’s hardware. I suggest you take it to a computer shop or get it warrantied.

You guys don’t get it.

You need to put in so much more effort to do anything as an Ele because your skills are spread out over 4 attunements.

Also, you either go glass cannon, do okay damage, and die in half a second, or go tanky, do next to no damage, and survive a few hits.

We are also the only profession who have no immediate stomp prevention (All we have is our 3 when downed which has a 6 second delay from being downed before we can use it)

he is very right this is what an ele is like weak whatever you pick

ele needs an buff they do suck bad i had to reroll an ranger i facerolled with him pets do 1k dmg and you do like friggen alot of dmg compared to weak fragile eles
