Just getting more and more disappointing in the game with every single thing you guys release now. =/

I dunno =S it lasted for a hell of alot longer then 2 seconds
more along the lines at at least 5 seconds, and i could target his allies just fine.

I’ve played several games now where I was fighting an enemy ranger, when all of a sudden his name over his head will switch from red to yellow, and he becomes untargetable for a few seconds.

Does anyone wanna spend some time together farming the costume brawl achievement?
It’s one of the few achievements I’m missing!

Why were the range modifiers not made baseline??? Nor do we have any way to improve off-hand axe in anyways with traits =( This made me very sad.
I loved being able to support my team with a large reflect bubble and pulling enemies at a large distance. Now its pretty lack-luster

As the title says, its clear there’s alot of negativity going around about pricing and stuff, regardless I for one think the pricing is fair.
I’ve bought the $100 Ultimate deal and I’m still throwing my money at my screen xD
I’ve played the game since the first beta (not counting all my GW1 time! xD) and I’m extremely happy.
It’s been 3 years now, and aside from the recent break, (for HoT) Anet has always supplied consistently amazing content every few weeks, which says ALOT compare to most MMO’s. And all for what? $70ish dollars that I paid 3 years ago? There’s no reason to not buy the expansion in my opinion.
Entertainment costs money, going to a concert, catching a quick movie, heading to a water park, even your cable. It all costs money!!! So I’m amazed at why people think this is any different.
But wait, I AM wrong. It is different! Most MMO’s these days require you to pay a fee every month, of about $10 or more, just for the privilege of playing, and as we all know, that’s not the case with Guild Wars 2.
In my head, all I see is that I’m actually saving money playing this game compare to games like WoW or FF14. And in any case I like Guild Wars 2 MUCH better =D
I mean 3 years would be- the base game cost itself ($40ish) and 36 months of $10 sub fee ($360), giving us a grand total of $400. And people are mad they have to pay $50 for GW2 when it first launched and now $50 again? Its just ridiculous!

I understand, not everyone may have the cash to dish out to buy the game at the moment, and that is truly unfortunate, especially in certain households, but can we PLEASE remember this is a PRE-PURCHASE, they haven’t even revealed the release date yet!

And for those of you who say, there’s not enough content in the expansion to warrant the $50 price tag- they’ve only shown us a fraction of whats being released, LET THEM SHOW YOU! xD This is why they are giving us amazingly written blog posts and hosting informative streams (despite the technical difficulty’s they sometimes encounter).
Once again! I cannot stress this enough, its a Pre-Purchase! You seem to have plenty of time to save up cash if you don’t have it, and Anet seems to have plenty of time to show us all the great features coming our way! Don’t get so discouraged!

The only argument I’ve seen that was really valid, was that “Anet said they weren’t going to release an expansion and that all updates would be free after the purchase of the original Guild Wars 2 game” (which I believe was true, right?). It’s sad to see a promise broken obviously, but lets be real here, you had to be living in a world full of rainbows/butterflies and cotton candy houses if you think a company can constantly update a game this much for years on end surviving on just the base cost of the game.
I know, I know, they really shouldn’t have said that, but once again, with the content they’ve released! – The Edge Of The Mists, The Origins Of Madness (The Marionette <3), The Battle For Lions Arch, The Tower of Nightmares, our awesome Halloween and Wintersday events, FRACTURED, AND THE SUPER COMPELLING STORY THAT WAS SEASON 2! Hell I can go ON AND ON with this list! Its all just been an amazing experience for me, my friends and my guildmates, and I really cant give Anet enough credit for all of this!

Regardless, I’m not here to argue or anything, I’ve heard enough complaining as is, and I probably won’t even come back to this thread for this reason alone xD. I’m mainly just writing this to hopefully quell some of the rage and to let Anet know there are still players who wholeheartedly agree with the pricing, and with all this negativity going around =( I’d like them to know I (at the very least) think they’re doing an amazing job and I’m looking forward to all that the whole staff has to offer in the future =D

Its the only weapon that’s missing its own trait and no news on if the range/radius of Path Of Scars/Whirling Defense is baseline.

Let’s imagine that they named the new specialization the Demon Hunter and it used holy magic to create fields that when a monster walked on it said holy magics would be released causing adverse effects to the enemy walking on it, keeping them at bay. Meanwhile the Demon Hunter is firing arrows at the hindered foe, imbued with holy energy that hinder the evil and empower and protect the righteous. That sounds like something a Guardian who was facing demons would want to become. Now replace the word Demon with the current menace facing Tyria, the Dragons, and you get the Dragonhunter. The Dragonhunter is not someone who stalks dragons through the woods like deer as a ranger does. They go looking for the dragons and let the dragons know it, and the days of dragon tyranny are coming to an end.

Actually, by your definition it makes even less sense to have the Guard called a Dragonhunter. One of a dragons greatest strength is the ability to fly….. What are traps going to do versus an airborne enemy?

Some of you might not be able to use guild chat when you log on and may get errors such as: “You are not part of a Guild”.
Until this gets patched you can go into your Contacts page by pressing “Y” and changing your status on the top left of the window from “Online” to “Appear Offline” and then switching back to “Online”.
Sadly you’ll have to repeat this process everytime you relog/switch characters, but at least you can still chat with your guildies until a fix.

I’ve played Bell Choir frequently, I got all the achieves and rarely miss notes, but suddenly today I log on and every note I play is “apparently” incorrect, no matter what I do (even tried pressing the note that’s coming up repeatedly in case of lag, but to no avail).

Its happened afew times in the past, and i would simply jump out of Bell Choir and come back in and it would be fixed, but i did everything now =S even restarted Guild Wars and my computer.

The description of the items are pretty vague but I’m guessing the first one gives you one of the endless Christmas tonics, second gives you a permanent Chirstmas finisher, third is just Tixx’s Toybox, forth is just those runes/sigils i guess, and fifth is a aquabreather?
All speculation of coarse.
