Had this issue last week with one guildie, he’s still awaiting a response to his ticket.

It came up again last night for a new guildie, and also another guy on our server. They both fixed it. The steps we did with our guild:

1. Have the member that cannot read chat leave the guild.
2. Completely restart the game (not sure this is necessary, but doesn’t hurt)
3. Leave one of the guilds you CAN see chat in
4. Rejoin the guild you cannot see chat for…. and you should be able to see chat again.

Not perfect, but nothing else was working. Not the invisible/visible trick that worked before their patch to ‘fix’ the guild chat issue back in March. Not rebooting the game, repeatedly. Not standing down and repping other guilds then re-repping the bugged guild. Not being booted then reinvited. Not leaving then being reinvited.

Another note, for the ANet devs… at the time I invited the ‘bugged’ player, every one of my invited, but not-yet-accepted-the-invite players was booted from my guild. I was the only one online capable of removing them from the guild, and did not do so myself. Hopefully that somehow helps figure out where the bugged code is!

We shouldn’t have to do that, that’s the deal.

I’ve had people, sadly, who left my guild because of this issue. While I tried to help them resolve the issue to the extent of knowledge I have on the issue, didn’t seem to work.

This does need to get a fixing!

A lot depends on whether you want solo roam WvW, small group GvG, or large scale zerg/blob combat. Which are you looking to do?

Well, I guess it just really depends, you know? I usually do small havoc runs with the guild on Saturday nights, but I usually take my thief for that one (would love to take my necro though). Usually if I am in WvW, I will just solo roam until I come up on a tag I want to follow. I would rather not be a zerg-buster type of person, as I just want to be able to go in, and take on opponents without a huge support from others (exception of 1v50, then yeah; I will die).

So to sum that all up; solo with a mix of zerging (if that makes any sense).

Try that: a cannon that can kill a large amount of enemy and survive in the second line, granting high AoE DPS to your team/zerg.

I’ve used rune of Eagle because it’s not expensive like Rune of Strength, but strangth is better. or Pack.

I would like to say if I can avoid beserker, I will definitely if all possible. I do like to go for soldiers gear, as that is what I run on my main PvE necro, and have yet to be really disappointed by it!

Different race for me personally (I went for Sylvari, as I wasn’t getting that necro-feel from my Asura, so I thought I’d experiment; however, wouldn’t delete my asura as he is my first so).

Hi there!

I am in love my necro class so much as after reaching 80 for each profession, I decided to take on the ropes to making a second necro, only this time making it WvW-based rather than PvE like many do consider my current necro.

He isn’t far up in levels, but I want to go ahead and get a general idea on what I should be using to make the WvW experience fun. I run this this current build, or at least recommended, so any adjustments I should make would be appreciated:

6 – II, IX, XIII
4 – V, VIII
0
4 – III, IX

The question also comes on about with gear: what should I be using? Some told me to run half rabid, half dire, full dire, full rabid, and I’m just confused to what should be ran.

We are a PvX (heavily focused to PvE) casual, yet structured, guild who wants to try to take part in all aspects that GW2 has to offer. Although we are a guild with growing numbers, we take more accustomed to the phrase ‘quality over quantity’, and that’s what we intend to do.

Being a casual guild, I have my rule of never removing one for inactivity; play at your leisure. Although I cannot assure you that you may/may not see many on at your time (especially with some schoolers/workers in the guild), we will definitely be on to have a great time with you!

Being a structured guild, while we don’t necessarily have a rep requirement as you join, we do keep an eye on this based to on our rank system, basically showing your loyalty/commitment to our guild, while always having fun with the other guilds.

We do not make it required that you have to be on our home server (Northern Shiverpeaks) to join the guild at all, but if you plan to do WvW with us, then you will need to consider a transfer to NSP then. The type of voice communication we use is TeamSpeak 3, and I will try to get everyone to use it at that prime-time you listed!

WISE has picked up some great members in the past couple of days! We welcome anyone from any server, and any timezone! =D

WISE has picked up many cool newbies/returning players in the past couple of days with the game sale that had went on! We appreciate every new member that joins us and want to make a future with them and WISE guild!
