So we’re (TC) moving back to T2 next reset? This makes me happy. I’d rather deal with getting blown out again by Blackgate than to deal with some of these guilds on Maguuma. So classless by one guild there, it makes me sick. I won’t mention them, but it’s pretty disappointing when they’re spamming kitten emotes at you only after they take you down with their numbers. I would be ashamed to share a server with them.

Hey Blame Anet lack of caring about hackers. I know who you are most likely referring to as he was kicked from old guild we had. All info was submitted to Anet with OBVIOUS Video + SS proof from opposing servers and DB. This person still is in game.
Hell they don’t even bother to change the report feature, how hard would it be to add a new item to drop down Hacking/exploiting and a text field. I wonder if their UI is so hard coded and not scripted like ever other moderen game.
:( This is disheartening to hear. We’re reporting him when we see them, but it’s kinda hard when they’re blinking across the map at 100 mph. Taking up watch at our tower keep lords until they get bored/log/NNK-oclock.
Yea this made me stop reporting hackers as waste of my time. Spent like 30-40mins gathering different videos and SS from a bunch of Mag people when it happened a month ago. It was beyond reproach proof of him blinking around and even after getting downed he teleported away. He was the only person of the class that was logged in with our guild tag on. Not sure of how much better proof Anet could of had. Must of just deleted email.
Keep reporting hackers. Most companies do not always ban individual cases on the spot, they gather information on the method to hacking and bide their time until enough information is gathered through other means. Once they know the exact source/method of the hacking, they will send out a ban wave. This is to cripple the hack as a whole and not individual cases.
Also, TC cares about Tiers, it becomes more fun the higher you go and the the harder it gets. We can have a -100k point difference and still have fun and go out there doing our same old thing on the forums, but learning and trying to improve each and every time for future encounters. It’s what hardens us and develops us as a community. Of course, it’ll degrade some people’s walls of confidence, but we’re a team and we motivate each other.
T2 is going to be BG vs SoR rivalry once again, but it’ll be TC vs FA heating up the Forums this time along with the battlefield, all the while Kaineng would be appalled to see TC’s face when coming face to face with FA. As much as I like boasting about TC’s awesome Forum community, it’s going to get heated with FA here, haha! FA knows how to show their Anti-Carebear face the right way, unlike Maguu.
Reset night needs to get here quicker! I want out of T3!! I’ll miss DB, though, and the few Maguu who were good people despite their server’s reputation.

Your right that TC will make it harder for us against kain, but you forget our oceanic is stronger the both we almost always have the ppt lead during that time, it’s when we go to bed kain Pvd us. Just now we where at 430 ppt in fact.
This tier is now about the fights, forget the score, especially with it going to be KA, TC, and FA. FA has good Oceanic coverage, KA has a decent coverage, and TC has bonkers for Oceanic coverage. We TC have people on during Oceanic, but there’s no guilds to solidify the plays and work off of each other. But alas, it doesn’t matter, for we will be reunited with FA and KA… it’ll be bloody, oh so bloody.

We now had a 5 man group that set up 4 Cata silently, sneakily, and uncontested. While DB’s army and TC’s army were fighting at hills, we broke the wall. We called out to our commander to take advantage of this and he did. By the time the main army got to us we had the wall at 10%.

Because we had 3 people inside yelling out to everyone ‘hey, they’re catting the wall from outer breach- there is only 5, come wipe them’ and they were like ‘yeahderpderpderp’ and never came (until it was too late). =( So we stood at inner just watching because e’reybody wants to play seige wars, and no one wants to get in yo face! No defensive seige inside, no supply for walls to finish upgrading (we were oooone yak away!)

Some people were confused at both walls being destroyed.

I had you targeted and saw your health disappear to a mob of people from my team, I felt bad, because you wrecked me and would have killed me if I had stayed. I pushed too far into you guys and almost died while you pushed too hard into us to kill me, but it was fun. I was killed and I assume you were rezzed after I alt tabbed in a most unfortunate location (I was an idiot for alt tabbing there.)
As for the Treb, it was to knock out ACs and stuff, not for a wall or gate. It was just temporary to ease our assault on the gate.

Mag isn’t even close to the skills we have faced. I doubt you will get the response on the forums you are looking for. Most of us find these attacks rather funny.
Comical, your groups seem totally incapable of understanding even the simplest of tactics like might stacking.
Maybe if a few of you spent more time in game and less telling everyone how amazing you are on the forums you’d fair a little better.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen TC stack for might… or have more than 20% of their zergs be level 80.
We are not taking this tier seriously, we are just trying to have a casual relaxed time without falling too far behind.
We have a strenuous time in T2 and most of our non-hardcore players needed a break. So they’re out there having fun. So don’t insult our server as a whole when you’re playing against people having fun and not having access to key components of communication. We don’t want to be hear and you don’t want us to be hear, so chill out and just have fun. We’re TC, we know how to have fun. And a lot of Mag and DB players have learned that as well and have been doing fun stuff with us on each BL, I know that I’ve personally made some Mag and DB friends from random fun encounters in the world.
The one thing I noticed on TC is when 20 or so guys run around and take POI.They take a sentry and 15 of them huddle on the spot for the experience and then you look at many of them and they are in level 20 gear.
This has always been an epidemic on TC in EB when we run with PINK or TV commanders(Yes no matter what Rank this is the burden they bare), trial by fire and all of that but man, it’s spreading to the other BL’s now.

What’s wrong with leveling an alt when it’s an obvious blowout week? In our guild the only time we are restricted in bringing non-80 fully geared toons is durin our raid night. Plus this is aomething that occurs on every server, not just TC.
Don’t get me wrong, there is absolutely nothing wrong with it.Everyone does it.It’s just that this week if your not particularly enthused with the numbers of enemies out there it may be a good time to yank out the big guns and attempt to rack up the points to get to rank 2 where there are many more targets.
I don’t say this to slight DB or Mag, they are fine folks.There just isn’t enough of them to quench the bloodlust that many TC folks seem to seek for the moment.
It’s all of our players that couldn’t handle T2 that are now needing to do this kind of crummy thing to feel better and dominant in WvW when they get a kill, don’t worry about them. When I see them I lecture them, I’m sure others on TC do the same, but it’s hard controlling all these people that never WvWed in T2 due to it being tough.
People need to realize that battles at higher tiers involve a lot of skill and coordination, not just numbers. It’s a whole different ball game, we’ll take all the insults in T3, but it won’t change us or phase us. We came here hoping to help T3 muster up the force to take on other servers that’ll fall down to T3, but this thread turned into a giant insult fest besides few key posters that diverted helpful TCers from actually posting what they originally hope to post. It’s a sad tale, but we’ll live through it. Although. DB has been showing so much potential and are going to be a force to be reckoned with.
Do not change grenades, having to require more skill to land #1 is what drives me to stay Engineer among it’s other higher skill cap features. If it was dullled down I would quit.
Our small teams typically run 5 players … never more than 10. Often solo.
When exactly do these people play? I admittedly haven’t wvwed much at all this matchup, but in the bit I have, I certainly haven’t seen any TC smallmans looking for good fights. Anyone that didn’t outnumber me turned and ran until they found help, which was generally pretty fast considering the number of TC around.
By small teams, we mean small teams helping the map, not small teams roaming around looking for fights. Objectives, scouting, sentrying key points, and eliminating any threats to our army being discovered. Of course, there’s many more things that’d create a big list if I’d want to elaborate each one, but the small teams I participate in or listen to on Mumble are doing things to benefit the whole. Going out just to kill is not very beneficial until it’s for certain things.
You NEED small groups, that’s a must. You can’t win with just Zergs, and a small group staying unnoticed is even greater at times.
T2 was a lot more fun. I would rather face impossible odds with fantastic fights than run over another helpless group of Mags caught in the headlights of a semi-truck full of vengeful TC players sick of the comments on the forums.

From what I recall, most guilds have taken a break from WvW with the occasional event some days. At least, taken a break from being try hards. It’s T3, it’s relaxing and on the edge of boring, but it’s not where we want to be. I’m sure you guys don’t want to be here either with us and don’t have all your most seasoned players out due to the low morale of having a T2 server’s population here.
So just a thought I was having, if Mag is so convinced they are amazing I’d like to see at least 1 video of them wiping groups instead of them just talking. (I’d hope one person would at least be able to) I know we have a few in TV who are going to start recording all of our stuff mostly for our own benefit but all this “We wiped you X times and you never wiped us” talk just seems silly from what I’ve experienced so far seeing as I had 500+ kills on Saturday on an upleveled guardian with no elite and I’m already starting his 2nd stack of badges at level 29 I’m just tossing this up here in a hope to see some video’s by Mag and DB since it’s always nice to see the opposite side of the field yours truly a humble TC player.
its not hard to stack up on badges on an upleveled character when all u have to do is run with the zerg and steam roll any small group.
not saying u guys dont have any good players but hardly have i seen any tc roam around alone and if i do find 1, two or more tc would not be far behind.
Its WvW, not spvp. Small groups have thier place in PvP maps or in the lower WvW Tiers. WvW in T2 will always be about larger groups. If Maguma ever hits T2, you’ll figure that out pretty quickly.
In T3, we all sorts of small teams out and about. Used to do it quite a bit myself. But, TC had to adjust tactics to stay in T2. Now old habits are still there back in T3. But why would we want to re-train everyone in T3 tactics when we don’t want to be here for long?
Some of BG’s camp flipping teams were 15-20 strong.
T2 still needs dedicated small groups doing small group stuff to support the Zerg’s conquest…

Yeah the whole loot bag mini game sucks. Always has. As you pointed out if you are moving, you can easily move past where the bag spawns and never even see it. I usually end up running in circles. I’m sure the other side is watching thinking I’m drunk.
Press CTRL, it shows Loot Bags from a pretty far distance. You’ll know exactly where they are.
TC survived in T2 and garnered the respect of BG, SoR, KA, SBI , guilds and other guilds from the T1 bracket in game and on the forums. We are proud to have been able to be so competitive and create friends from other servers. That is already something great that we’ve accomplished. We all need to improve, we know where we need to improve, and we’ll improve on it. But the thing is, do we really need to go all super try hard trying to improve and lose ourselves in that? We’d rather have fun and improve along our own pace which may be a faster improvement or a slower one, who knows.
I don’t think the answers to your problems are more numbers, to be honest. You have plenty of people. It’s a matter of getting those people to do more than be meatshields and supply carriers in zergs. You handled yourselves in t2 for quite a while.
Don’t run glass builds. Don’t ignore that lone player running right by you (but don’t divert the zerg to kill him) because he may be on his way to solo a camp or snipe yaks. Get people to try a class other than ranger.
TC seems to pride itself on being roleplayers and friendly. I don’t know why you’d want to spoil that by recruiting a bunch of random players to carry you for the 2-3 hour coverage gap you have.
If that’s how you view is, than thank you for that insight, but we’re trudging along at our own pace doing what we deem best for us.

I guess when I said “us” you thought I meant PiNK, I actually meant us as in TC, our server. You guys are awesome, but it’s harder to organize the militia as militia since it lacks key tools like a VOIP and other means of communicating.
I don’t mean to kindle the fire with this, but when we were losing TCBL was due to us having 0 organized WvW guilds there, and the people who were there with a proper guild had no chance to rally their people. It was Militia that was the huge majority in TCBL yesterday. We’re glad that our militia had the opportunity to play by themselves in a Tier more suited for them, we heard reports of their endeavor and fun they were having, regardless of us owning nothing in our BL. But we want to get back to T2, so we need to solidify our going to T2 before the big guilds can pull out for a while and allow militia to take over.

For those who think that only numbers matter (it helps a lot, definitely, I’m not arguing that. Just pointing something else out), we can assure you that it’s not always the case. HB showed us that 20 people can wipe a 45+ man zerg with superior tactics, we’ve tried to emulate it as close as best we can, but we learned from them and add on to it what we feel is best for our group of people. Our people also add in other ideas that threw good BG guilds off guard and got them to up their game. Sure, we lost a lot to them, but I can guarantee that we left a lot tougher than we went in having learned a lot.
A lot of guilds were hardened due to HB and other great BG guilds, and trust me… there’s more to ZergVsZerg than just amassing numbers and throwing them at each other. Some tactics left me laying there dead to BG laughing and saying “wow, that was just great, that was an awesome strategy!”
