WHY DO we have no range attacks! every other class can use some sort of 1200 ranged attack?! why not thief?! why do we have to jump up on a wall to even have the chance to hit anything in a keep siege (before we die instantly to focus)
im so sick of watching rather than getting into the battle, we need a ranged attck of 1200

Nah. Patches for rebalancing just means you have to respec traits until you are once more “op” in the eyes of casuals or people who havnt already learned to predict a thief.
Prediction on part of our target, determines if we win or lose a 1v1 or 2v2. I would say L2Counter… but I want to win.

This has been a fun old match up but I have to say I’m disappointed with the scoring system in this game.
To break it down.
Sos – Rank 7 (4 Ranks higher than CD)
CD Rank – 11
SBI Rank 14 (3 Ranks lower than CD)
CD is +40k from SBI at the moment and only -35k from SoS……..Yet we are still loosing evo points for this? How does it make sense that we are just about keeping up with a server 4 ranks higher and out pacing a server 3 ranks lower but still loosing evo points from that?
How does that make sense? I’m not arguing SBI getting + Evo points since they are lower ranked but how is CD still loosing points when at this point we are doing pretty good?
(If anyone has a good link on how the evo points and whatnot work since the last time they updated it would be much apprecited)

I have a quick question to sbi server. Why do you guys always try for sm or defend it with basically all your forces when bp tends to always own your borderlands? Having sm gains you 35 points but if you don’t own your own borderland then you lose like 100+ points. I don’t see your guys’ logic.
Just wanted to say, the fight at SBI hills today was hilarious.
Not only did we hold outer for 1hour+ but lords room for about 25+ minutes with 15 people against 40 SBI, i must say, if i were the commander of that SBI zerg, i’d be badly ashamed of myself. Your first push cleared all our siege and npc’s in lords, but you whiped half the zerg, the second time we held you off with simple combat against those huge odds for another 20 minutes, all tho you did cap it at the end, i wouldn’t have been very happy with that performance..
However, so proud of the BP who were their and defended, was amazing.
We would have kept it if it weren’t for the zoom-hacking elementalists from SBI who cleared the tons of siege we had set up. I have screenshots but don’t see the point in posting them.
Because BP is soo perfect.
Last time we had someone cheating via multiboxing. EVERYONE in map chat gave him kitten and reported all his accounts. Its been 2-3 months since we’ve seen anywhere.
Anyone “Zoom Hacking” should be banned with proper proof. So post it.
But beaware you have server mates that do it.

Just wanted to say, the fight at SBI hills today was hilarious.
Not only did we hold outer for 1hour+ but lords room for about 25+ minutes with 15 people against 40 SBI, i must say, if i were the commander of that SBI zerg, i’d be badly ashamed of myself. You guys need to invite these people to your party group and get a name.
Its probably someone who isnt a regular wvw player, and if it is. We’ll chew them.
The actions of the few do not determine the actions of a server.
This is why SBI isnt giving you BP kitten about it. Cause in the end we are out for the good fights outside of towers and keeps. (Or in when gates are down.)
I mean come on. We’ve been paired up 3 weeks straight and you think we’d just go an cheat. Honestly. Wow.

We had 2 comms. KIWI went in through the nw gate with 2 golems while TB teased your SE gate. Should have recorded it, that was an excellent achievement. Eh Ralin?

Kk, was wondering. The footage I shot was puzzling as there were sbi mesmers porting people in near watergate/bridge area. However none of the people i was with had eyes on the north gate and it flipped before we could check to see if it was down.

Ill believe we are exploiting when I see video evidence of a mesmer doing that. If one does, invite them to a party and please get their name.
An ill message you and record if I see any bp do it. So far good though.

About the glitch img through gates, it’s actually a very easy thing to do depending on your class, I won’t say how to prevent exploiting, but when I was commanding 80 people before reset, we were hitting a gate and about 30 glitches through just because of the style of attack we were doing, I called for everyone to immediately leave the tower (I myself was glitched through, and everyone left, not a single person went to The Lord. Your server will listen to you if you speak up without yelling/calling them hackers.
Glitching through the door is one thing, but glitching, porting, then capping is another. SBI you need to stop exploiting, when you are ported into outer, then inner from this, it does nothing but negatively affect your server as a whole.

Surely you’re kidding right? Or is the morning crew of SBI doing this.
I have yet to see anyone on EB, SBI, or BP use this bug. (I dont go to NSP.)
Also I highly doubt a majority of our populous are doing it just because they can. If anything its people on our server sabotaging our WvW rep.
Even our pugs arnt stupid enough to group up and do this garbage.
Thank you for reporting this on behalf of your server. I’m sure most incidents were unintentional, but there have been many reports of some individuals using the glitch to gain an advantage. We lost a fully upgraded Bay, that we held for several days, because a Mesmer decided to portal people in behind our defenses.
Please continue to discourage your server to accept portals in this manner, and I will do the same on my server. If anyone “walks” through the door, the honorable thing to do is fight your way back over the wall. SBI is playing so well this week and it would be a shame to tarnish it with incidents like what happened at Bay.
Are you talking about when we had the Kiwi and TB guild ninja your bay with a distraction?
We opened NW gate to bay with golems and N gate of inner. That was a legitimate flip. No exploit was used.
If you guys didnt stick to trying to get SW camp or stayed at SE gate of bay we wouldnt have got it off you.
Seems like this through the gate glitch only happens when there are 75+ people in the area. But that just my guess. (Im not a mesmer so I dont know their skills)
As for honor, Servers. Call out your hackers, and bother them to the point of quiting. And as always, dont forget to report the users/abusers of exploits!
BP I have seen your server do the same things you say our entire server of doing. If not at times worse. We don’t post screenshots we don’t cry foul. Why? because we know that the actions of a few do not represent the entire server.
Our server does not approve of any hacking/exploits. With many of us if we ever find anyone taking advantage of any bug we will report them and demand that the action be stopped.
This is not a question of pic or it did not happen. Is it possible it did happen yes. I am sure in most cases it was either not on purpose or it is not what you make it out to be.

I got one on my fifth run through, id say it more based on you magic find %.
That being said, a friend of mine has been trying for a longtime with higher magic find than I.
Id say something simular to the winters day gift bell drop.
But if you back up and see the big picture you’ll notice this wasn’t one of the Major Expansions the ANet usually does.
Dont get me wrong, this content rocks, and it gives a lot to do, but more zones, classes, and races are sure to come. Perminate content needn’t be worried about, the games not even a year old yet.
