I know it’s going to sound crazy… but I’m broken hearted that I couldn’t find any roleplay anymore… I just transferred back to the server so that I could RP a few weeks before the feature pack… Now it was a waste of 2400 gems and what I loved most about the community is gone.

This road of good intentions led where such a road always leads.

If you’re meaning the “Feedback” about the game updates, there isn’t need for them to post there because it’s their way of -collecting- feedback so that they can analyze how best to proceed. Posting would only divert the conversation into negativity towards the poster from those that are unhappy.

We have this bug too. We decided to hold off on doing our usual upgrades even because when we try to build anything, it doesn’t take influence or merits, and it’s instantly built. Hope this gets fixed, lots of people might be exploiting it.

I just want to say I’m a bit disappointed in some of my fellow roleplayers in this forum thread. We are a friendly and inviting community. To say that we are “not being recognized” is ridiculous.

This post ( https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/gw2/Update-on-the-MegaServer-roll-out-plan/first#post3857828 ) shows that they listen to us. They aren’t rolling it out on the cities, so it’ll give us a glimpse into how the megaserver will work for us in other zones.

Also, they’ve stated us here. “And for the other informal communities, we will monitor and adapt the system accordingly.” Taken from ( https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/gw2/Feedback-Questions-MegaServer/page/8#post3848841 )This is about them trying to make a better and open game for all of us, and they are taking us into account. Please try to remember that the devs care about their players and they want us to have fun.

A very easy fix might be to allow us to have an RP tag such as the “Online, Away” and such. I have been roleplaying on this game since beta and I can honestly say I’m concerned about our community being trolled. Tarnished Coast has a wonderful community of mutual respect between those that roleplay and those that mainly WvW, and actually, most of us are both. There is little to almost no trolling on either side, and it’s become a home for so many of us.

What most of the roleplayers are worried about is the fact that we won’t have that option to log on, see the politics and intrigue of other characters around us, to join into a conversation or have a drink at the tavern with a crazy looking Norn. The joy of roleplaying comes from meeting new people through random acts of RP. If we are separated, this will cease to exist.

However, I am hoping that this won’t become a problem, that the home servers will be able to all be on the same ‘megaserver’ no matter what. Or that we can change districts. I have such high hopes for this… but not if it kills the communities we’ve already established. Not just in the roleplaying communities, but on other servers as well. You have those names that you recognize, your server heroes so to speak. Will there no longer be that sense of community that we’ve had for a whole year and a half? I don’t know about anyone else, but my community is my home.

I look forward to the upcoming blogs and hope that our concerns are assuaged.

It’s almost always possible to find someone to run dungeons with in the guild! Most of us are online in the evenings to late night in EST.
