OK. Anet. I’m just going to share my experience (albeit small) from some WvW play last night. A sentry was flipped by an opponent outside my BL Garrison. i was heading out to flip it back when the icon disappeared telling me it got flipped again. As I rounded the corner I saw the sentry was taken out not by another player from my server or even another opposing player from the other server, but my LS npcs. So I was basically denied the xp and the experience/fun of flipping the sentry (one of the core mechanics in WvW) because of LS npcs. Here’s the thing: I am primarily a PvE player (although my time is more split 50/50 these days) and I really like a lot of the recent LS stuff. Caveat: I like it when I am playing PvE. It’s like this…when skritt ot centaurs go and put swords on a camp, that is a nice way to make people HAVE to check if its an enemy messing with the camp or npcs, but those npcs cannot “take” the camp. Having LS npcs not only eliminate WvW objectives, but also trip up groups trying to take objectives and thereby throw off the balance of play on the map after stating it wouldn’t happen during leagues is just wrong. You know it and I know. Please. Don’t do this again. Its unfair for those of us that play WvW more often as our way of extending our enjoyment of the game or for those that WvW 100% of the time.
This is my problem with it, too. I mean, come on, the LS npcs almost took out all of dredge last night. That’s just weird!
choose your battles wisely, they want silence. No amount of eloquence in the world can reach a person that doesn’t care about what you have to say and would rather you shut up and pay …err play.
sigh I wish I could respond here, but I guess I shouldn’t. Maybe we can get some other person that is really very eloquent in their messages to type plead with anet on our behalf.

As someone from Mag, I agree, worst idea I have ever read on here. We already have our fair share of those we wish would disappear wearing tags. Just because you can buy a tag doesnt mean you deserve to be a WvW commander.
I once saw 5 people take out 40+ golems. Of course those golems forgot to take out the oil over the gate but who cares about details
Those must have been Alpha golems. IMO, Alphas are a waste of supply. Omegas would never be affected by your oil because they would never be on the gate. They can also take out a lot of siege with their rockets, and not to mention the ever loved spin to win!
Instead of that, allow us to spec into golems with our traits so can use all siege, while in the golem suit. Or, make it so we can just put the siege on our heads like hats!!

I blame PvErs when our borderland was queued last night for over an hour, while a 30man guild went and worked on bloodlust achievement and we lost both of our keeps, and almost lost garrison.
Yes, I blame PvErs.
(However, I do blame Anet most. They really should have started the stupid achievements 2 weeks before leagues. Introducing them at the same time was just plain idiotic.)
The Qs and lag are actually making me miss WoW. I never thought I would say that, or feel that. But the lag (and freaking WvW achievements bringing in all the stupid pugs) have made the game just about unplayable.
Queues will be fixed as part of the new map. They will continue to operate as they have since launch until then. The queue does not function as a typical queue and we are fixing it. It will just take some time. It has been a lower priority than the other things we have done and we’ve only now been able to devote the appropriate resources to it.
So it means : no change before 2014 ??
And does anyone know how queue appears ? Sometimes we are queuing and when we finally enter, we realise we are 40 on the map with 80+ ennemies on both other servers…
I believe map caps are server related meaning if a server has a 100 man EB BL cap it doesn’t mean the other server you are fighting against has the same cap.
Queue is totally random.
That is screwed up and needs to be fixed NOW. No reason for one server to be allotted more players than the server they are fighting. If that is the case, then indeed servers are stacked in favor of others……..
I have looked at your breakdown of all 7 weeks in League 1, and I’m trying to figure out why Maguuma is the only server stuck with red all 7 weeks, and JQ stuck with green all 7 weeks. Can you please explain this?
The achievements require a jumping puzzle for each keep, and we are the only one that never changes colors.
Fingers crossed for an SoR/SoS/Mag for the inaugural league matchup tonight.
That would be an interesting matchup IF SOS and MAG agree to double team SOR hardcore…. I mean SOR will still completely destroy them but there will be fights atleast.
Im pretty sure i would speak for the rest of SOR, that we would welcome an official 2v1 in that scenario…..
You are in for a surprise if you think anything about Maguuma will be a “pushover” scenario, ask Jade Quarry or Tarnished Coast, you will have your hands full with us let alone SoS, we can que 4 maps with skilled guilds and pubbies.
Many thanks to our dedicated guilds and players, Paralda/Pyro, Diviniya and Razi/Ark, Bony/DERP, Xushin and his pain train for making this happen. We pulled together as a server and got it done against the odds and efforts to the contrary. I’m very proud to be Maguuma right now. 7 weeks of tears gold league, that’s what you are in for, come at us bros, kitten ppt, give us an open field to wreck you in or a smoking hole in the side of a tower or keep to farm you in.
You lost to SBI, we just had SBI and SOS, our hands were most definitely not full…….. Ill give it a day before the debate about who has better roamers starts due to Maguuma QQ.
Maguuma doesn’t have any roamers or small guilds anymore.
Most people on trebs like that want to prevent the wall being rebuilt while they wait on their team to get there and take the tower. Or, that’s how my server does it.
Yeah, on Jade Quarry we had a lot of really large guilds from the good old days of DAoC. The ones that still exist have dwindled quite a bit and some guilds have left entirely. That is not to say that the population has suffered, it’s that our hope for WvW has faded into oblivion.
WvW really needs to start experiencing monthly updates from a dedicated team otherwise the WvW playerbase is going to cease to exist.
We want to see it succeed, we want to see players quit w/e they are playing to enjoy WvW but at this moment, Anet’s constant promises mean nothing without discussions or previews.

With this update I have found waypoints and POIs I had already discovered, along with hearts I had completed missing. I have been having to refind them, recomplete them, and try to fill my maps out again. I am hoping I am not alone with this. (I really dont want to do the bunny food quest again.) The worst map with this is Wayfarer Foothills at the moment.
