Might is only more useful for condition damage thieves. Otherwise stick with quickness on crit or sigil of air IMHO
Tried it and wasn’t impressed.
Air is more.gratifying.to me personally but u should measure how much damage you.do in 5-8 seconds and see if 5% increase of that damage is better than the average lightning crit.
Honestly you people complain too much. Adapt your play style to beat these thieves. I am not glass cannon and there’s never been a thief I’ve lost to. The proper blocking, stun breaks, evasion, and dodge rolls completely displace a damage pwhip or HSeeker spamming build. Be more afraid of a skilled balanced thief who uses his or her skills appropriate to the situation. I a one of these balanced thieves and I chew glass cannons up for breakfast.
No matter how you build I recommended.d a MINIMUM 15k HP preferably 17k
Make it a stun break move untraited. I’d rather be ranged in melee than stunned and not.

Also if you have a block on low CD you will want to use it when the thief stealth.
Try keeping your distance and getting them damaged before they close into melee with you. If they have a sword main hand this will be harder as sword gives great mobility. If dagger main hand you will want to put your back to a corner or turn erradically while swinging your weapon. Dodge backwards.
Try to use your control abilities and then smash at the spot even if they go invisible they can’t move and will take damage. Dolyak rune set is worthless you should aim for something else. A thiefs worst enemy.is high.burst and control and conditions. Ironically our same strengths. I’m not beaten often but there was an engi, Mesmer, guardian, and warrior that managed to down me once. A good thief though has such high mobility though that he is hard to kilk
I have been a part of unlimited since April. No other group of gamers have such a skilled set of gamers. I am proud to say that the only people who have been close to or succeeded in beating me in fights are my fellow guild mates. I knew ULTD was the right place for me by the questions they asked in the interview and the high pvp experience expectations that the small tight knit family shares commonly. We are unlimited.
If you saw my game play video you would understand. I am usually downing fools at the back of a zerg.

From the bottom of my heart I hate this minor trait. It has caused me to die so many times when it goes off right before I hit cloak and dagger which then reveals me and gets me killed. I would take ANYTHING over being force stealthed or shadow stepped as a minor trait. PREFERRABLY an evasion buff, condition cleanses, or stability buff. I love the trait line otherwise but find I have accidentally cancelled my own stealth by trying to stealth so often.
Does anyone else have this issue?
If you are a very skilled thief like me and want to win most fights without the fragility of glass cannon you will use sword dagger. It wrecks in small group, solo, and mass ovp. I havetaken on and beaten 3v1s with it. Message me for my build.

Hello, I am a Henge of Denravi player. I understand the night capping QQing but you can’t completely negate the benefit that it provides because of the time and effort invested by the nightcappers. You can’t completely remove incentive during a third of the day for WvW. My suggestion is as follows:
Remove points gained by controlling supply camps. Their necessity is still high value as they are the only way to supply and upgrade keeps. Now you grant a point value for killing enemy npc guards and flag points but not so many that it would overcome the value of holding the point itself. This means your server will be able to mitigate some losses at night even under overwhelming odds.
Lastly, have a formula that takes both enemy WvW or server populations into account when rewarding points. Eg if server A has more pop then B and C combined then points earned by are slightly diminished and points earned by B and C are slightly increased. Remember for the remaining 16 hours when not being night capped the winning server can be potentially outnumbered two to one.

Cloak and Dagger is already a very strong ability and I feel your pain. I would be content with half initiative returned on a failed cnd
I like the idea but hate.the mechanic
