They just handled it horribly which amazes me as the impact free transfers followed by the way they handled the paid ones could have been seen from miles away.

You have enough numbers and zergs to completely dominated the next few tiers and make WvW a wasteland in all of them yet you still want more people?
I honestly think that after you have been in unbalanced matchups for 2 months you will be getting stomped by any server who can match your numbers as half of your guys will probably not know what to do if there are suddenly enemies fighting them back, you want a pure WvW serverd yet the only thing you will attract with all these recruiting topics and that Deus guy or w/e boasting about his server all the time is Pve’rs that want crafting bonus and map completion. Pure WvW guilds don’t want to wait two months for a matchup that is slightly balanced. I honestly can’t see how a decidacted WvW alliance would even want to have no action what so ever in over two months. Just seems you’d rather want the easy wins.

OP is a bit misinformed as none of the Rof guilds left the server. Rof is still in the same shape we have always been but we are just in a hugely outbalanced matchup and we will be for a while considering RoS is coming up and they will have even more people. On the bright side I look forward to seeing how Rof and UW will handle it as both servers have more people then whiteside/vabbi/FOW.

Eventhough i’m sad to see the chance of NP leaving RoF i still have to say that the server who has the luck of recieving NP will get a group of fun players and a team that brings a unique and very effective style into wvw. Hopefully our bid for them to join Underworld is successful, they can join us in our GvG matches against RoF so they won’t move to far away

Also means we have more familiar players in our tier, the blacktide guys can go back up and leave us play for fun guys down here to duel and enjoy ourselves :P

Would hardly make sence as they want bigger challenges and joining a server that will be stuck in the same tier as Rof doesn’t really seem like much of a change to me.
Would also be a bit odd that out of all the servers they choose one of the two we will be facing.

[PI] had a nice evening out today fighting on all borderlands either allone or alongside alliance guilds. We had some very enjoyable fights, thanks to GH and the Rof people who fought alongside us.

Not really, we have discussed the NP situation prior to them posting their topic in an alliance meeting. As they are looking at their options they are currently still on Rof and are still part of our alliance.

EU is about the same, this was bound to happen the way Anet has been handling the whole transfer issue.

Given the reputation from this guild and what I’ve seen I’m not sure if this isn’t some troll aswell.
Anyway it is nice to see this post and might help put tier 1 in a better light to the other players as those fight topics are usually horrible.

i play www cos i love it for the competition it gives and great people u meet. Being on a low sever doesn’t provide either. Instead of staying there and eventually get bored and leave, isint it better to join higher tiers and enjoy www the way its meant to be played.

When [NP] and [HxH] decide to to come over for a visit we have to pull EVERYONE off other maps, with the exception of EB, to defend and even in a best case scenario we will only outnumber you by a factor of 2:1 at most against only 2 of your guilds, so please, keep it real.

You do realise the permanent invisibility the thief can do by attacking a wall is considered an exploit…

These snide remarks about us not clearing our keeps was bound to come after Xaoc is accused of glitching/exploiting for the 500th time.
But as someone here said they now know the facts about all these accusations (their facts being listening to what Xaoc said as everything Xaoc says is obviously a fact, what every opponent Xaoc has ever faced said is obviously not a fact).

Also, don’t be put off by our current matchup. Gunnar’s Hold have been mass recruiting Russians so our tier is very imbalanced at the moment. We are still fighting and doing what we can, just keep in mind that, if you are considering Rof, not to judge the server on this horriby unbalanced matchup since its easily 3/4:1 since Xaoc joined GH as they prefer having no competition (ask Vabbi and Blacktide).

It comes at a pretty bad time to have 630+ ticking in GH’s favor for an entire week as it hurts the morale more then it should right before the transfers close. Its pretty much pointless to be in WvW before Xaoc go to bed.
I hope this won’t affect WSR and Rof to much.

Because most of GH was totally against them moving to Vabbi and were actively posting on the Vabbi topic how disgusted they were, but when they move to GH all of a sudden the imbalance isn’t as important anymore and they are welcomed.

We came at your doorstep after you had capped WSR and you immediately had a zerg of about 40 people in it. We had some fun fights tho.

Anyway this matchup has gotten to the point where most of Rof is hoping it will be over soon. Capping an entire borderlands when you feel like it isn’t about having good communication.
Especially dissapointing as transfers are closing soon and just now we end up in a completely one sided matchup. Hoping it won’t hurt the server more then it should.

The funny thing is when we are ranked second you never hit WSR aswell so your logic is kind of pointless.
And I’m sure the general consensus of 1v1v1 is not to always pick on the last server… The most logical thing in a 1v1v1 scenario is the 2nd in rank to be targetted.
Anyway good to know your not attacking WSR, thanks for the confirmation. The number one server with a 20k lead is only out for easy points…ok…

Looking at the map atm, WSR are pushing further than RoF.

It’s not due to GH pushing RoF more, as we have only a small presence in each BL as I write this, and EB we are fighting both.

Given WSR has actually lost guilds and RoF were the previously dominant faction (we a few weeks ago yes) it’s interesting that WSR are now pushing them back.

I’m sure the fact GH and WSR both leave eachother allone has nothing to do with us being pushed on our borders.

This list only includes guilds that are officially in our alliance.
We haven’t reached out to all guilds yet and there are also guilds who are very important to the server that are not in the alliance.

It is unsettling everything now but in the long run it will be better for WvW I think. No more superservers popping up from the lower tiers or half the guild from a server leaving etc.

Yesterday before reset you have about 15-20 guys (rof) hitting our south bay constantly, and at one time we had 4 holding back 15 of you guys outside the gate before the npcs, and the irony was that we were still able to down and finish 2 of you guys while the others standing back and watch…

So yea we outnumber you all the time and you guys are putting up a fight with superior skills and organisation, we are not worthy.

No one is saying you shouldn’t be proud, no one is saying your tactics suck. I always had respect for GH and the way you guys have managed to organise yourself and I still do. I’m glad you guys have rallied and are starting to win. What most of us get annoyed about is reading how you claim you don’t have a numerical advantage and you lead with 14K points after about 10 hours of WvW due to being in contact with eachother… No one is accusing anyone of mass recruiting or anything but just because you didn’t doesn’t mean you don’t have more people.

This matchup has already been decided so I hope I won’t be seeing any “this is a great and even matchup but we are pulling through because of our organisation” posts. Because it has stopped being an even matchup.

Sending one zerg to the north gate and keeping the other zerg at the east gate at bay when both zergs outnumber the people inside isn’t superior tactics, its superior numbers.
But I guess you can keep thinking your numbers don’t matter during the week. I’m giving up as it seems your forum community works hard on making sure every single GH guy comes here to say how you don’t outnumber us. You also don’t seem to realise how arrogant it looks when you keep pointing out how good your organisation is, which basically reads as saying ours sucks.
And yes, Rof is getting tired of this matchup as now its basically a zerg fest. I know you plan your attacks, but you don’t seem to realise a plan is easier to work out when you have atleast double the numbers on your opponents. I hope to see you go up a tier this week so you get a reality check.

Just noticed a bunch of Xaoc players on GH side in EB…. did they join GH?

Not hard to do well considering the numbers you have on us in Rof. I’ve been taking pictures of your zergs compared to the dots on my minimap to end this whole “we don’t have numbers on you, just better organisation” shenanigans.
As fun as this matchup has been, its getting old especially since most of whiteside ended up joining GH.

Where has there been allot of complaints about AoE? Haven’t really seen much complaints on the WvW forums and this is where AoE has the most use/effect.
I don’t get how they say this is a priority that the moderators pointed out…

Really wonder why a French guild would join a server that has constantly been flamebaiting and making fun of the French in general. I guess the mocking of the French nationality will tone down now since SFR are desperate for those numbers.

If you see 10 people doing the breakout event as pushing, then yes we are badly pushing WSR while you guys give them a free pass on EB and only focus on us.
Not claiming alliance or anything, its just a fact this is helping you and when you go up a tier you won’t be able to totally ignore one of your enemies.

I get the whole organisation thing but its not like RoF isn’t organised and the guilds also stay in touch. You guys do need to get off your high horse and stop acting as if Rof has no communication.
Saying the numbers are about even is a complete joke as can be seen now by the sheer amount of people you have in Rof borderlands which basically outnumbers us.
I know you guys take pride in your organisation and like to think we have none, but your numbers sure do help. I think thats something you need to realise when you go into the next tier as you won’t have the number advantage over there. Because right now it seems GH is slowly developing a god/superiority complex.
Just to make things clear, I really like you guys as opponents but sometimes it seems like you think your the only organised server in this tier and that your numbers don’t hold an advantage over us.
Not to mention the fact you basically decided not to attack whiteside at all this week which gives you a huge number advantage you won’t have in an even matchup.

Most europian guilds prefer fighting then just going for points so I doubt you will be getting allot of transfers.

The majority of people are going to leave low tier servers for high tier, I expect a big influx of people going to SoS.

Why would they make people pay money in a free game (Just make the lockout time longer like 1 month or something) THERE IS NO REASON TO MAKE IT PAID, it just seems like another money making scheme to me.

Have you even been playing this game? Its pretty obvious tiers unbalance everytime totally breaking WvW matchups because of free transfers.
Maybe you or your server hasn’t noticed it but there are more people playing this game then just you.
Elminating free transfers will finally give the tiers a proper chance to balance without being screwed over whenever some big guild decides they don’t like competition and move to the lowest tier.

This is still a fun matchup and I don’t mind having it for another week, especially when you realise both Vabbi and Ros have such big numbers that it would completely unbalance our tier.
