Our guild still doesn’t have acces to our guild bank, it says we don’t have one (but we do). All the rest works again.

I still don’t get why posts about random stuff like items you can buy from trading company always get replies from devs and the millions of other bugs never get a response or a fix in the first 6 months.

I had the same, ended up deleting the weapons I bought. Its going to suck when this is revealed as yet another bug and my weapons will have been deleted for nothing.

Grenade Barrage skill used to have a really nice animation if you had the predator equipped, it equalled the effects of the predator.
I just noticed today that this effect seems to have dissapeared, so I’m guessing it must be a bug?

If eternity can get a dev response I’m hoping so will the predator

@Hihey: Rof is mostly busy being slaughtered by your monster blobs, sorry we can’t satisfy your needs to solo because of that!

FIRE changed servers again? Hard to keep track of you guys!
And AG should really stop blaming other servers for blobbing since you have had the biggest blobs I’ve seen so far out of every server we faced, just because another server beats you at it doesn’t mean you don’t do it.
And splitting up the blob every now and then when facing a server ranked about 7-8 places below you with less then half your population isn’t really proving anything. Its pretty stupid to be reading other matchup threads and see constant complaints only to face those servers and see them do the exact same thing when they have the chance.

Whats impressive is seeing all the servers from tier 5+ complaining about blobs from a specific server when you basically all do it, reset or not. The craptastic matchup system has given us the unwanted chance of facing allot of the servers around those tiers and your all the exact same when it comes to blobbing as much as you all want to think thats not the case.

We get on with business and at our peak attendance i would like to see any RoF guild take us, or a ‘blob’.

I think the main reason for that is at your peak attendance you have 40 people which is about double what any of our guilds pull at a regular time and is probably bigger then our average zerg…

You just know in advance that when you face Ros the topic will be full of people saying how good they are and generally being a keyboard warrior. (this Undertaker and most Riot members are good examples)
The server is the biggest collection of those kind of warriors so its probably better to just not reply to them, there is a reason every matchup thread including Ros always goes bad.

Its been a fun week so far, to bad about the topic but it was to be expected.

Hasn’t anyone told you? Calling everyone kids to look cool on the internet got old around 2005.
They could always, you know, keep the randomisation in a smaller rank gap so servers don’t end up in a never ending cycle of ticking 650+ throughout the day or fighting outnumbered 3:1. Its something called balance which we had pretty well with servers like WSR, ARB, Dzag, Blacktide, GH and Ros. Sadly we have barely seen any of them since the new matchup system.

Slightly dramatic topic title but the issue is a real one.

So in six weeks of having these random matchups, we have had
Rof vs Vabbi vs Fow (complete blowouts not fun for either side)
Rof vs UW vs Arb (UW had as many people as the other two combined)
Rof vs Ros vs Wsr (only proper matchup)
Rof vs Gandara vs Miller’s Sound (9 ranks difference, huge population gap)
Rof vs Vabbi vs Fow (complete blowouts not fun for either side)
- This is AFTER we had gained 50 rating by doing relatively good against miller’s and gandara…
Rof vs Gandara vs Drakkar Lake (again, 9 ranks difference)

It basically feels like arenanet is trying to make us all change servers so they can go to an 8 tier server. I can understand random matchups and everything, but we basically feel like Anet is trolling the living crap out of us.

I’d like to know how on earth this system is suppose to be any good if we keep getting these matchups? Rof is a healthy low tier WvW server but it seems someone wants to change that. These matchups have just taken the kitten and if you can’t get us more then one out of five balancaed matchups then feel free to go back to the old system.

There is a reason we are not in a T3-T5 server, because we don’t like blob fights and skill lag, so it would be nice if we wouldn’t be forced into these kind of matchups every other week. This goes for allot of the lower tier servers, we all hate your new system so lets learn from it.

Gandara isnt a blob server, we have tons of small guilds roaming on week-days.

Thats what you said last time and I still have my collection of gandara pictures from our last encounter. For Rof 40+ groups are blobs and thats basically all I see besides from TDA during the week.

Whats your reasoning for saying this? Other then sheerly forcing WvW players into PvE or they will yet again miss out greatly on reward.

I still don’t get why this should ever be different. You chose to only play WvW, so you choose to only play a small portion of the game so getting less achievement points then people playing all of the game is a pretty logical thing.

Who was it that was advertising on your server?

Why did they nerf shortbow range is a question I’d really like to hear a proper answer for.

Never have I said anything bad about Fow and Vabbi’s abilities or the server in general as I have allot of respect for the people who stick with their server in the situation you guys are in. I commented on the fact you started acting big saying how skilled you are as opposed to us when this matchup has been going on for about a day and thats about it, I wonder if you even read my post or if you just decided to throw out the arrogant argument in the hope of proving something..

RoF may have as many points as RoS had last week, but RoS was 10 classes better than RoF. Some RoF players here keep talking about “trash”…. well 95% of the RoF players I fought the last two days were beyond trash when it comes to skill. So yeah, you own us because you have the far greater numbers but the average skill level is much worse on your server than on ours. Just saying. Your lucky to have guilds like [TaG] or you’d be in T9 constantly.

You have got to be kidding me… we had this matchup three weeks ago and inbetween we had to fight Miller’s and Gandara.
Obviously Devon isn’t going to care but this system keeps screwing Rof over, what a joke, we gain 50 rating in the last matchup and end up against the lowest ranked servers AGAIN?

Was thinking of trying the build out but now that I see this I can’t be bothered, this will most likely take months to be fixed again.

I honestly can’t wait untill this zergfest of a matchup is over.

we are still in queue and 13 for now,dunno if tda are playing too or not,change border and try again.

We did that, 50+ gandara blo-, sorry, zergs on every map alongside with bigger MS zergs.

We’re trying to have a guild event with a 15 man group and all we run into are 40+ man zergs on every possible map. Gandara gave me hope when they were saying we would get allot of roaming chances but it doesn’t seem like there is much truth behind that unless 40+ people is considered roaming.

Looks like MS and Gandara still haven’t noticed there are more borderlands then Rof Borders =(

Its basically a broken path, should take less then 26 days to atleast acknowledge it?

So, any word on this? Its been over a month and still no respone what so ever and still this path is bugged as was proven by the run I just did…
Getting a bit tired of a 10 month old dungeon still being bugged.

Its a bit of a shame that both miller’s and gandara borderlands are completely their respective colors while both have zergs on our borders. Just makes this week frustrating outside of primetime cause both seem to enjoy going for the smallest server. While its pretty much a fact we have no ability to rival your numbers what so ever.

Using reduced waypoint and repair costs works for us to keep our merits below 250.

So all the complaints to abbadon for example is not about running with 60 man zergs but its about running with 60 man zergs with a different guild tag?

I really, really don’t understand why Gandara calls out other servers for blobbing (even on this thread) when all I can ever see on our borderlands are 40-50+ man Gandara zergs…
The same to Miller’s, we just lost our borders (being outmanned) to a 60+ man miller’s zerg with like 4 golems and a 40+ man gandara zerg with 8 golems yet all I see you do is call other guilds out for “blobbing”
This isn’t flaming or anything, I’d just like to know what you consider blobbing if running in 50 man groups isn’t blobbing for you…

Well, lets just say we weren’t expecting this match up.
Rof has never really had to put up with two servers who outnumbers us this bad in a long while, your average guild group is bigger then our average zerg it seems.
We will try to make the best of it!

This is indeed the biggest problem I have with the posts made here (mostly from RiOT).

And again, there is NO guild on rof that will, on average, put out between 20-30 members. I never said 50? I say you double ours, which you do considering an average rof guild will pull between 10-15.
FIRE and AZZL have been on Rof as long as I can remember.
The matchups you show were also when all of the T1 guilds transferred togheter so the hype was pretty big, winning with more points is a logical thing to happen then. VoTF was also still on your server then.
Since you claim certain Rof guilds push out more people then Riot on average (20-30 on a daily basis), mind mentioning what guilds you are talking about?
You claimed you steamroll us all the time during primetime, I explained thats not true at all. You claim our numbers are equal and you don’t have bigger guilds, I point out thats not true. Not exactly twisting your words? I’m just not agreeing with them.

We have been slacking this week, it already started at the beginning of the matchup.. we skipped our usual community meeting. People expected to just steamroll over WSR & RoF, it’s what we do during primetime tbh..

“Steamrolling” us on primetime is a bit of an overstatement and just lacks of any respect towards Rof and Whiteside.
UW steamrolled us, our current prime time is pretty competitive but if you wan’t to call that steamrolling because you tick higher(which isn’t even always the case)/have bigger guilds then be my guest.

As I said, people expected to steamroll over you guys this week so everyone is laid back and a lot of guilds aren’t even actively taking part in WvW this week.

UW won the matchup vs us with like no difference only because Fort Ranik didn’t like us much lol, if we had that same presence you’d be steamrolled just as UW steamrolled you but we don’t.

I wouldn’t say we got bigger guilds either, I think RoS & RoF are pretty equal in numbers, WSR on their part only got like 2 or 3 bigger guilds.

You ticked lowest throughout primetime even tho you claim to “steamroll” us and WSR all the time.
And saying we are even in numbers and guild wise is a complete joke, not sure why you spew as much propaganda as you do but every server that has faced both of us just knows guilds like riot and velocity put 2 times as many numbers out as any Rof guild can.
Starting to see why everyone hates your server.

We have stripped all emotions from our corporation, That’s how serious we are. Emotions are for the weak.

Well its not that hard for a Pug blob to take keeps from 10 defenders. Lookinf forward to this evening when we have people to fight back!

I really like Wsr but this week you just seem to refuse to attack Ros. You must really hate us or something to deny us taking the lead over Ros every single time by joining their attacks instead of attacking something yourself.

Woke up from what little sleep I got last night thanks to WSR/Surmia. I knew it was going to be a bad night when I got on and see 7+ golems Rushing our Eb Keep and us not even having 10 people or the keep sieged up..

When we finally started getting tkitten mess sorted I saw WSR basically just tear apart our whole bl, we just barely saved our garrison, and kept trying to fix our bl.. less and less were on though so I couldn’t do much. I think we maybe had 10 people spread across our bl and EB most of the night. Great Job to WSR and Surmia, although I imagine it was a lot of PvDing, which I’m sorry but I couldn’t help much :p

let me remind you that before this all…. RoF come in RoS border with a lot of golems and took our garrison and hills… we took it back realy fast with all out ppl who went online… and we killed all RoF golems in our bay, they where at inner gate but failed…. after that we focused RoF in EB, RoF comes every night in RoS border with golems and a lot ppl to capture our keep, so why qq about our nightcapping?..

we want to hit wsr that night but atfter losing hills and our garri we chanced our plan and hit RoF so hard as we can

so stop qq… its RoF is own fault

He described what hapenned last night and did not complain at all except for mentioning Rof doesn’t have night coverage.
There is no QQ in his post…
