My guild usually lets people do the jumping puzzle, if they attack us they die.
I don’t see the point of killing random PvE players that want to do the puzzle.
Next time you try to take a tower and get pelted by multiple arrow carts, just remember that most likely those arrow carts came from the jumping puzzles.
Yea because no one can afford 6 silver for the same arrow carts.

I still don’t get why GH insists on cutting off our supply routes in ROF borderlands while you guys have little control over your own borderlands. Your only helping AG by cutting off our supplies. GH been doing this the entire day and I can’t see the logic behind it.
Still don’t get why guilds would hop to a server to only win by nightcapping and outnumbering their opponents 3:1. I think for most guilds loyal to Rof its more about the fights, tactics etc then about zerging or playing PvDoor an entire night and run into like 3 defenders.
What I like about Rof is that we try to make the best of the situation we have now instead of trying to join a server that already has its WvW community and just be the 20th guild to transfer to it.
I think most of rof is already targetting AG as we don’t really have a choice when they even outnumber us on our BL’s. The fact GH always comes in to attack our BL’s when AG is there makes an alliance between us doubtfull at best.
GH and AG have a weird way of fighting out feuds since you both seem to prefer targetting our borderlands. GH decided to snipe bay while we were fighting AG then basically gave the keep to AG…
Had a really nice reset, had fun fighting at AG borderlands and working alongside RoF’s other guilds. Glad to see RoF still united under the same banner.
EDIT: Just noticed the score, looks like we’re the victims of having a server that sleeps again.
And again people decide to totally ignore the fact ascended gear just got release, aswell as ignoring the fact Anet has already said it will be accesable through WvW or such.
And complaining about not getting a legendary seems pretty pointless for a self proclaimed pvp’er since it doesn’t even have better stats.

I really hope this is a joke as WvW forums are by far the most whiny part of the GW forums. They announce major updates in February and everyone is kittening about it being on february and not earlier, but at the same time kittening on how the update will be bad.
No wonder allot of players don’t go to WvW after reading these forums.
Me and my guild basically never attack people inside EB jumping puzzle unless they attack us first. Don’t see the point of killing Pve’rs that just want to do the jumping puzzle/get the achievement as their forced in WvW to do it.
We really got togheter with allot of the guilds and were quick to help each other. I think this is the first time I have seen RoF truly working togheter in a long time.
I think all 3 servers had problems with guilds leaving, still don’t fully understand why wvw oriented guilds don’t prefer trying to make their original server work and just join a tier 1/2 server. I think ALRM left for desolation tho, not whiteside.
Had another great battle at UW borderlands yesterday. Pain Intended started by taking both south towers. Then we got reinforced by BM, XIII and SPOR and managed to take a keep. We held out for a few hours but lost to many people to be able to handle the UW zerg.
Pain Intended just had a really good battle on UW borders, managed to take a tower and defend it for about an hour even tho we were quite badly outnumbered.
Its surprising to see Underworld have such a big presence on most of the maps.
We are still growing and looking for more members to join our WvW team!
We aim to be a bigger help to Ring of Fire server by actively taking part in organised WvW.

Pain Intended is a guild that started out really small, without a group of friends or something supporting it, and we have steadily grown into a guild of around 120 members.
We do every aspect of the game and value our community. We do dungeons every day, do allot of inner guild PvE events and are on WvW just about every evening aswell. We want to work on having a bigger impact in WvW and are looking for more people with an interest in organised WvW to expand our team.
We have a casual approach to things but there is definatly an option to go more semi-hardcore/hardcore within our WvW team. It is something we are working hard on to keep on improving.
I’m not one for long text promoting every little aspect of the guild or saying things that aren’t even true so I’ll end the post here.

Did you honestly just make a topic complaining about the fact players are doing what they want? The fractals have been out for 5 days, obviously it will be really popular…
This game is an enigma with me how I really like things I previously hated in MMO’s (open world questing) and don’t like things in GW2 that I’ve enjoyed in other MMO’s. (dungeon instances)
This is exactly one of my issues. I love the open world questing but trying to find groups to do dungeons is painful. My main is 80 and have no desire to keep trying with pugs to get anything done. I might have done just 2 or 3 dungeons completely, all almost about a month ago. The sad thing is I really like this game! I’ve been waiting for it for such a long time, I’m not even disappointed, just irritated and left feeling confused with special events and dungeons.
You could always join a guild and do dungeons with them…
Lets make a post about one bad player and blame it on the increased loot from dungeons, because having a bad player in a dungeon has never hapenned before the update!
Or instead of ranting on the forums you could accept the fact people prefer skipping something thats not worth the time…
Not sure why anyone would act elite because they skip the luitenant…
People ask for improvements, they are given improvements.
First page is full of people whining and complaining about how MF gear will ruin dungeons… If you can’t run a dungeon with slightly worse gear then its probably just you being bad at them.
So funny you guys consider culling issues signicifantly aiding your class as normal and you think you have elite skills for abusing a mechanic and treat everyone else as being a bad player. Anyone can perma stealth with a thief, just the fact you justify the class by saying 5-10 people working togheter can handle your thief makes me realise how useless this discussion is.
I mourn for the fact the gaming industry has to many people that act elite on an internet game and consider abusing server issues makes them good at the game.
Simple freaking mechanics.
I’ve said it before and will say it again:
1) A thief has 1 way to maintain PERMA stealth, D/P. Using #5 skill to create combo field and heartseeker out to go into stealth.
Solution to 1): Spread out and wait for one of your people to get hit by the heartseeker or #5 pistol shot. Looking for the smoke ring works too.
2) A thief will use CnD to create somewhat of a Stealth loop. CnD => Stealth => Stealth runs out => CnD rinse repeat.
Solution to 2): Stack up and AoE OR spam tab OR use AoE pull skills OR limit the amount of people @ camp and thus limit the amount of targets to CnD on.
This is a game, not rocket science. Stealth is fine, thieves are fine. Culling should be fixed.
Its amusing that the fact your solution to 1 thief stealthing is having a GROUP of players all stack and spam AOE just with a slight possiblity of hitting him. So you think its perfectly fine that like 15 people need to be able to AOE a whole supply camp to find one thief…
Go play Dark Souls (which is an entirely different game, might aswell start comparing GW2 with Call of Duty) then and stop complaining on forums of a game you seem to hate.
Grats on recruiting US guilds and have them save you, I’m sure you will be remembered as the server that switched the metagame from being good at WvW to just recruiting other timezones to play Player vs nobody
Kind of pathetic that the US server is making a post here only to have a topic where they can all hold hands and flame bait the other 2 servers. Hope the 2 French servers pull through this week.

You have 2 options stick with your 1 nation server or move to international server where englishj is spoken in chat.
This is exactly what I ment in my post, don’t act like English is the superior language and act as if people on other languaged servers are worth less.
You have every right to play on a server for your language only but I don’t see why your complaining about this move. I doubt every EU server will have a mass influx of American guilds.
Only time our server lost because of another server nightcapping (never dominating during the day, just scoring mass points at night) was actually against a French server.
I do find it amusing to see Americans/English people blaming the other nationalities for joining language specific servers when I constantly see Americans trying to force English on other nationalities on this game. Allot of you still don’t seem to realise English isn’t everyone’s language.
