Gosh, how often does the troll spawn? I cant even count the times that I see the “troll up” message when Im in queensdale. It’s not an event that you have to wait for 3 hours to come back. The zerg ppl could have just went on. What if there is some newby player running around in QD? Doesnt know anything jet. And then a zerg starts yelling at that person for starting an event. Because that is the problem here, they do it to new players as well. Instead of harrasing somebody. They could have just asked to call out nicely next time. The small amount of xp and karma from that event doesnt hurt them one bit.

TBH If I was a new player and something like that happend to me, I’d stop playing the game before even reaching lvl 20. We need to take care of our communities.

In game titles would be great. Like if you spend 5 of your vote tokens for a candidate, you get a 0 or 1 pt achievement that includes the granting the #titles from the Cutthroat Politics splash page.

Also, possibly being able to put their likenesses on your kites. That could be cool.

Kuess, maybe you should edit the thread title to say “In-Game #Team Titles”. The devs might not take another look at this if they think the question is already answered. Including “in-game” might get them to give it a second look.

It’s a shame the amazing home cities feel so abandoned and LA is always so crowded. Me and my friends had some idea’s how to make the home cities “home cities”. Here are some idea’s to start with.

1) Add a mystic forge to them. (why arent they there to begin with?). Give them some intresting NPC’s that give you things to do.

2) City events like collecting, racing, puzzeling, searching, jumping etc to get home city awards. Like in Harry Potter, to win the house cup. But them a little different of course.
The award could be a racial buff like +1% gold find for a week/month for all Asurans, WP cost reduction for all Charr characters etc. etc.
Or even releasing some back story about the race in volumes with nice animated scenes.

3) Home instance decorations. I’m not getting into housing because others have done this before. But it would be cute

I agree completely! I just made a topic suggesting to have the swap weapons button be usable for swapping a kit

So another thing I would love: To have the swap weapons button for the engi to be assigned to for example the number 9 skill. If you have a kit/grenade/mines/flamethrower under that skill slot the button becomes active.

Atm I changed my keyboard bindings to do that. It’s awesome! Untill I enter a dungeon with another class and find out I can’t switch weapons and the button activates a skill I didnt want to use :P And I have to change the keyboard bindings again

Or better! Give us skins for it that make them look awesome

So how about a nice skin for our wrenches and pry bars? I like to melee with the tool kit here and there, or run around with it, but it’s looks are a bit dull.

So the idea: a nice golden or silver or whatever skin that makes the wrench a bit bigger and more awesome

I love your game. Going to almost 1000 hours. But Im begging you to build some registration whatever.

5 minutes ago, it’s the 20th time this happend to me in 3 weeks.

1) Start dragon killing event (for some reason it only happens at tequatl btw)
2) Game crashes because there are a crazy amount of ppl, most of the time when the dragon is over 50% dead.
3) I rejoin the game – get into the overflow
4) Cant join party to get killing credits or whatever.
4) The dragon dies…and I don’t get anything….. because Im stuck in overflow

So…. 20x 1 rare. Thats about 20 ecto and a lot of gold. It’s aslo a lot of OMFG NOT AGAIN including swearing and never wanting to do the dragon event again. And last but not least…it costs a lot of time. Because I go to the instance on time. I participate in the pre events. I wait for the boss. And then this. It’s one huge bummer that apparently it’s not possible to build something fair.

I made a complaint about this with the time the Jade Maw crashed on me with the last shard. It didnt register. And when I came back online, nothing.

So QUESTION: is it really THAT hard to make something that checks if you participated? And when your game crashes and you come back within a normal time frame you do get some credits? Surely the ppl who build this game can come up with something like that.

I love these guild missions. We did a couple of runs now with the Guild bounties. There just the right amount of challenge! And helping other guilds is fun as well

We’re busy building economy lvl 5, going on to 6 and going for the next type of mission. After that we are out of influence.
The good thing about being out of influence is the new tactics of how to get it. Ppl are gathering guild parties for dungeons. We’re using the influence upgrades more etc. The guild is becoming more active with the day.

I love this new vibe on saving for something usefull And not being able to rush trouhg all the new things in just one week. This way we’ll have something to look forward to every other week!

I really hope someday all the complainers here are going to see the fun in this. And I hope ppl in smaller guilds will go over their save boundries and join other fantasty guilds to coop in the missions.

75 laurels? Thats not even possible. Why do I think this is fake?

Well it happend like 4/5 times. The player wasn’t able to res anywhere according to the player. We ran in and out and in and out, waypointed ourselfs. But that didnt trigger anything.

So I have a question. Did anybody here come across a bug where a player wasn’t able to WP after the rest of the party was either also dead or out of combat?

Yesterday in a SE run there was one person who was complaining about not being able to WP. We didn’t believer her/him because we never read/heard anything about it.
So after politly asking a couple of times. We warned that we would kick the person.
(S)He didnt make any attemt to “fix” the problem if it was there, for example reconnecting. Just complained and commanded us around to res. I can tell you, rezzing ppl at that one dredge in P3 is not a fun thing to do.
When this person also started calling us idiots etc. we eventually kicked the player out.
Note here: Im not a fan of kicking anybody out, never did before, but this was just outright rediculous.

I’m still wondering if the player was lying or not, about the wp-ing. And if it maybe could be a bug.

If they didnt gave it the rediculous price much more ppl would have bought it. But 8 gold for gems is just to much to ask imho

I think some of you are forgetting the awesome rewards that you can get while progressing in fractals. The rings, the backarmor and the fractal weapons.

Another thing some of you are forgetting is to enjoy! It’s not all about getting rares or exotics. Try to have a group of friends sometime, and have fun.

I constantly forget all were Divenity reaches asura gate is in lion’s arch although they do have the race standing close to each one so you have to look for the npc’s but they should be named.

What helps is knowing that: The Sylvari one is the Highest (tree – tall… ). And the Asura one is the smallest

We did this one two days ago. Killed the captain 4 times. Wanted to quit. Somebody said “no…lets do it one last time!” We did. Glad so!
One person was guarding Jenny the whole time. About 5 min. after the captain died Jenny started walking away to the ocean! We saved her kitten untill she swam away with Bill and Hekja. And then the event chain started. Took a couple of minutes between each of them. Leading up to the Hydra Queen. Unfortunatly just 2 of our group got the achievement! So we’ll have to do it a couple of more times I guess.

The suggestion here is:
1) Be patient
2) Try killing the captain over and over
3) Keep one person guarding Jenny the Lionsguard. We don’t know if it helps. But she needs to be alive to swim away :P

Thank god the pirates and risen there drop a lot of bags/crafting materials. So it’s not that painfull to spend 2 hours on that island

Gha housing would be awesome Maybe have a Guild neighborhood (to replace the old Guild Hall) or activities center to do brawls or something.

You would not believe how many times, as a annoyingly huge charr, I hit my head on snowflakes or my view clips so I totally lose sight of what I’m doing.

This is incredibly forgiving, compared to the Mad King’s tower. You can afford to jump a flake behind, or try and get ahead. I’ve had many Asuran friends tell me they have no idea how Charr even gets halfway through some of these because of our size. There’s pros and cons to both sides. If I had a choice I’d get a spell in JPs that mini’s me.

Happend too me to with my asura, especially in the beginning. It’s just a learning process

@Biomaster: I agree that it should have been easier to get Foosti. But making it “easier” to get after the event, or at some point, is going to p*ss all the ppl who did spend the money on him off big time. Me for one. I wish you could all enjoy him, seriously. But I would never spend a dime on this game again if they changed anything from this event afterwards. Because indeed it took me 35 mysteryboxes (and I guess I was kinda lucky with that).

TBH I think it’s a joke they are making monthly achievements so kitten easy. Just entering the puzzle, and not having to finish to score the monthlies. If you ask me they can make the monthly achievements a bit more difficult.

As an Asuran, I can say it’s not fighting the other characters. Really It’s fighting your own skillset. The JP took me 3 days to complete. But, now, after more than a week. I’m a pro.

So I have faith in you! Because we have the best race there is! And you will make it too

oh yeah, ideal place to put a personal locker in :P

I’m missing a place to “display” some of my achievements – min’s (read: foostivoo :P) – Weapon – armor etc for Friends/other intrested people. And I miss to see what some of my friends/guildies have done. (except for the amount of achievements points)

I think it would be awesome if we could share some stuff of that ingame with each other instead of ctrl-clicking it into the chat.

Well, this toypocalypse is making me reply to now. And I’m not a forum person.

First to be clear: I love the game. I love wintersday, I bought the unbreakable bell just for a friend of mine who wanted it badly. I’m not complaining about nog getting Foostivoo either :P

But Toypocalypse is the biggest dissapointment I have seen. I came online to play with my friends and in stead of that I get teamed up for an hour with strangers. Thank God I have the title, so I never have to play this event again.

And yes, I needed to get this off my chest.
