I’m the happy camper and use gw2lfg. Even then sometimes it takes time to form group because its become “Fractal Wars 2”. Fractals has nearly killed all other content and made some zones useless. So if your going to run something other than fractals I think you will need go outside a box. Or you can join party and run fractals.
There’s a problem when you have to use a 3rd party site for something that should be a functional feature in-game.
Can’t argue that the game is missing this feature. Maybe it will be added some day. I just chose not to. And I’m finding this a terrific resource.
Anywhere around 30 minutes is my ideal dungeon. Its about balance. I dont want to be chained to a computer for hours. I’ve got a life and other things that I do during days or weekends. But playing gw2 is a great diversion. With dungeons not being overly long I’m able to run one or two then go do something else. Its about moderation and balance. Players who grind away at mmo’s end up hating them or getting burned out on them. They have mmo-ocd. I’ve known and still know a lot of players with that ocd. Get out and live a little.
Just skimming over lots of replies where the posters never bothered to check out gw2lfg. Your loss for lack of effort. The game is what it is. You can complain or adapt around. Personally I think its a wonderful tool thats really opened up dungeons for players. Not only that I find players from other servers which is an ideal situation. If one server’s gate is contested anothers might not be. Good stuff.
Started using this a few days ago and its terrific. Last nite I posted LFM for CoF and immediately got responces in game and people joining. What a wonderful tool.
PACT aside it definitely feels like BP has a lot more people in WvW. I guess this is my 4th or 5th group rotation now and I’ve never run in this many BP players ever. And its not just isolated strategic spots on the map. Seems like where ever we turn twice as many BP arrive.
Anvil Rock is pretty darn carebear…. there I said it. So I thought maybe lots of people are doing the Halloween thing. Was looking forward to some competitive pvp this weekend after the EBayers easily mowed over all of us last week. Guess I thought wrong.
Was disappointed in this matchup. Lets be honest it was a landslide the entire time. Sorry Ebay but your way out of Anvil’s league in numbers and geared 80’s. It wasn’t laughable how easily you rolled us when we ran into each other… it was more like “yawn, oh this again”. BP made some nice moves and seemed to do well. After making several attempts at finding some fun hotspots on the map during the weekend I gave up because it really wasn’t there.
The prior week rocked I thought. Who was that other server… Darkhaven? I can’t recall but it was much more competitive and fun.
