Seems outmanned flat-out isn’t working. No that it matters when SF can field 4x our numbers consistently. Ridiculous imbalance is NOT the way to make WvW more fun, ANET. At least fix your kitten game to apply the buffs that are supposed to be there.
I actually greatly enjoy grenades being ground-target. I was in WvW today and -just- managed to catch a corner of an enemy catapult close to a wall. If it were auto-target, I wouldn’t have been able to hit the thing without exposing myself to retaliation from 6+ enemies, but being able to pinpoint where I wanted them to go allowed me to hold off their entire team from a corner of a wall until reinforcements arrived.
A snap-target that could be enabled or disabled would work for me, but I’m afraid that it would require a nerf to grenades in general, which is something I’d really not like to see.
One thing and only one?
Add all ascended gear to karma vendors to make gearing up alts less prohibitive. This actually beats out in-game LFG and other QOL stuff for me, sadly.

Implementing a new gear tier was unnecessary. Giving the gear better stats was unnecessary. Adding agony resist was unnecessary and cheapens the whole skill/teamwork aspect of fractals progression. Making the gear available only through certain venues was dumb. Using the gear as shallow (and extremely obvious) time-sink is dumb. Implementing the gear in the most alt/build unfriendly way possible is dumb.
Part of me wants them to raise the level cap so they can deprecate the current garbage and implement better/more interesting item progression.

An amazingly complex keybinding system that supported every key being rebound. Macros were the beginning of it, too: you could bind a key to load a new keybind file, changing keybinds on the fly. Alt-binds, ctrl-binds, shift-binds, literally everything you could do in-game through menus or clicks could be rebound to any key. Once you started digging into the keybind system, you could actually begin to program each key individually.

That’s not me. I run rifle, bombs, tool kit and elixir s running a very tanky build. If you find an engineer that’s really hard to kill bombing around from [CATZ], that might be me.
Too bad I have too much work to do recently and haven’t found enough time to go online. Last time I was online, I was desperately trying to defend a tower in EB by myself against a group of 6-8 FC. Couldn’t do anything at all…
But someone from FC added me on party just to say “Turtle much?”. I guess that’s a statement that I’m tanky.

I run basically the same thing. (Except I do it alot worse) It is mad fun isn’t it?!
You know your doing your job when once in a while you have a thief chase you across the entire effin map to dance on your corpse. (Disclaimer: if I wanted to roam I would use my spvp build! /bow)
Or an enemy rushes through the entire zerg to go for just you. This is more a problem on my necro though. Unfortunately I’ve yet to see it work..

I’m having a lot of fun on my engi with grenadier. I stay WAY back and sweep walls, until someone gets close and I start dropping grenades and elixers right at my feet. I LOVE he fights recently. Thanks to the guy from [KREW] who actually cried to see the fight end last night after I was harassing AP for a while.
This would make things worse: a larger group can carry more supply, so they get to carry both more arrowcarts AND more shots for those carts.
I think they need to reduce the range buff a bit, and completely revert the damage buff, but only against siege. Let AC’s stay deadly against players, but make them still mostly ineffective against hardened structures made for beating walls down.
Malwarebytes is, as of yesterday, flagging this as a trojan.
Had the same issue. Killing the client and restarting solved it for me, but this is the second time in 3 days. Seems the login server gets the blame when I get kicked while zoning.

Stats changeable on all gear on a 1-for-1 basis, as long as the gear doesn’t already have the new stat on it.
All WvW maps removed from map completion requirements.
AoE limit increased to 20, up from 5. Stacking to avoid AoE is a stupid mechanic.
I can’t honestly say that it’s been a good fight this weekend. I won’t disrespect myself or SF by insults, but I won’t give false praise either.
The multiple forty-man zerging is to the point that it’s truly a headache to play WvW for the time being and, as such, I’m losing interest. Before it dies altogether, I’m backing out of WvW for a few weeks – either until we get pushed to T8 or SF gets out of T7.
NSP and HoD are T7, almost T8, for a reason – they’re not heavy WvWers. Like an above poster stated, SF shouldn’t have been T8; nor should they be T7.
Good luck getting out of T7, and please hurry.
I’m staying out of WvW this week for the same reason. I don’t see anything less than huge zergs just rolling over everything, with SF outnumbering both other servers together. Good luck in the higher tiers, and hope you go there soon.

This sounds like a simple answer, and maybe even effective. I agree!
This works on NPC’s as well. There are a TON of events where you need to “retake” a location with a bunch of downed allied NPC’s close by.
Easiest way I found? Hit one of the big worms that throws rocks. Then back off, let them chuck rocks at you, dodge the rocks.

Pay to win anything is a slippery slope. After all, what’s the difference between a PvE title and a PvP one? They’re all just data on ANet’s servers, after all.
Making the purchasable costumes so much better was a great way to raise money. Not such a great move for a game that is supposed to avoid the pay-to-win cash shop.
Same here. I sent a bug report in-game as well. I can’t access the guild bank, and if I stand down, I can’t represent in town. I was able to leave the city and “represent” worked again.
Edited: I can use the GB in Rata Sum, but not in Divinity’s Reach or LA. Thinking about it, Rata Sum has always worked for my characters, while LA and DR have stopped working before.

I actually played through this a few hours ago, and it was a tough fight. Like many other fights in personal storylines, any allied NPC’s are going to stand in the AoE and get killed, leaving you facing these veteran-champion mobs solo. NPC allies are far too fragile and weak to be of any assistance. (Especially Sierin- she doesn’t attack half the time, and when she does, she gets flattened by AoE.)
I’ve started to think of NPC allies as mere decorations. If they were intended to be of use in fights, they need some buffs to their durability and judgement. They stand there, not attacking, while getting set on fire. Again, Seiran is the worst of these, the Vigil warmaster actually knew how to fight back mostly, but the skritt? dead. Hylek allies? Dead. Any NPC ally on a fight with any AoE? dead.
