THEY DID STEALTH NERF IT. It is an exercise in naivety to believe otherwise. I apologize but those are the statistics.

Funny how you talk about statistics, but you base your conclusion of maybe 3-4 cases? Before the patch I got my princess on my 2nd, my Griffon on the 6th and Soldier on the 1st. After the patch I got my Ventari on the 7th, sounds reasonable compared to how others had to try over 20 times before the patch, don’t you think?
It doesn’t seem to be that bad, considering others can get it fairly easily as well.

Stop spreading your poorly drawn conclusions.

My guess is when the ship comes to la we can probably get more mats.
They have to let u do something with those leftover frames or for all collectables.

That’s my guess as well, being able to get more Wads and Glue in Toypocalypse. Which is why I wanted to use the mats I bought for profit. Too bad the prices dropped by half since then =(

i love the sword also, i dont mind the root in place, but at least can they make it possible that we can use dodge easily hehehhe

You should turn auto attack off (ctrl + right click the skill). It means you have to press 1 all the time, but it makes it much easier to dodge.

Bought a bunch of glues/wads right after seeing this. The prices have gone up to 70c for wads and 90c for glue now. Should have horded them when I saw them going for 4c last night.
As for wads/glue drops, wiki states they can be dropped by mobs or from gifts. I have yet to see either for myself though.

Tixx day 3: Mutliple active objectives

It is bugged. You have to do all the other events first (Those of Stop 1, 2 and 3) for the 3rd Toxx event to start, which actually works. After doing all the events (except for the first two toxx pop-ups, which do not work) you get your reward and the chest spawns.

The toy soldier event that start along with the broken turrets event are the last before the 3rd Toxx event.

Did the event earlier this afternoon, but didn’t notice that much of a change in loot. I do notice I got about 50% less loot than I normally do, but that’s about it. I do still get loot, and the quality doesn’t seem to be nerfed (ended up with an exotic drop, which I never get.)

Origin of the Sylvari

Warning: contains spoilers of the Sylvari’s personal story quest line “Where life goes”

Ever since I started playing, the origin of the sylvari has been bothering me. We learn that the first sylvari were awakened about 25 years ago from the Pale tree. But is this really true?

Ronan found a seed in a cave, which later became the Pale Tree. Where did this seed come from? It can hardly have appeared out of thin air. Isn’t it more likely the seed came from another tree?

When you travel to Caledon Haven (an outpost in Trader’s Green – Caledon Forest), you hear a duo of Lionguard discuss the Sylvari. They mention the Sylvari having “the wisdom of the ancients”

Full dialogue:
“We’re here to help the Sylvari integrate into society, right?”
“It is our duty as older races to help these sprouts grow and learn.”
“Why do so many of them seem to have the wisdom of the ancients?”

Why do they know so much? They couldn’t have collected so much knowledge in just 25 years. All this information seems to come from the Pale Tree, or The Dream, but how did that obtain all the knowledge?

In the personal story quest line “Where life goes”, you meet a Sylvari named Malyck, who doesn’t come from the Pale Tree. In fact, he mentions another tree to the west. Most likely deep in the Maguuma Jungle, or even beyond that. The Sylvari from this tree do not experience The Dream.

Going by this, isn’t it likely that there are more trees out there? If there are two, why not three, four or even more? Why are the Sylvari the youngest race? The Sylvari awakened from the Pale Tree 25 years ago. What about the other trees? Could it be that the Sylvari are much older than we think? Could they actually be the oldest of the 5 major races? The Sylvari could easily have lived to the far west, beyond the Maguuma jungle where the other races didn’t come.

This does not explain their knowledge and wisdom mentioned by the Lionguard though. It could be that different trees are connected to the same Dream (with an exception of Malyck’s tree, who could be “malfunctioning”) and share information. However, in that case the Sylvari of the Pale Tree should have knowledge of the other trees and the lands beyond the Maguuma Jungle (or wherever the other trees are. Maybe even on a totally different continent?)

Any thoughts on this matter?

A nice lady at the plaza in Lion’s Arch told me her kids have the full line of Tixx’s toys. Do you hear that? Every single toy variation he released! I think we’re already too late…

Disappointed with Infinirarium Today

From what I’ve experienced (and others I talked to as well), the dungeon is bugged. You actually do the previous events at the same time, starting out with those of Stop 2, and the evens of Stop 1 and 3 mixing in half way. This is why Toxx was listed 3 times.

Tixx's Infinitarium stop 3

The 3rd dungeon of Tixx’s Infinitarium, in the Black Citadel, seems to be bugged. When entering you start out with the same events as those of stop 2 (In Dinvinity’s Reach), namely the ones involving princess toys. After a while the events of the first stop (Ventari toys) mix in, followed by the new soldier toy events of stop 3.
This means that after a while, you got 2 or 3 events running at the same time. This does not seem to influence the progress of individual events, but players may find themselves overwhelmed by the amount of mobs running around.
You still only have to fight Toxx once, even though the event is listed 3 times, and the dungeon reward seems to be normal as well.
