I am currently working on The Bifrost, I have all the gifts ready all i need is The Legend. I have tried my luck at mystic forge, i do temples on regular basis and have 2500hrs on my account and i didn’t had a single drop of any kind for precursor yet. Well I don’t really mind trying each day everyday but what really BREAKS MY HEART is my friends and guild members getting a precursor but just spending 40g in mystic forge or simply through a drop from trash mob in orr.
I mean i feel the game is not fair to me or my account is jinxed.
I know its RNG but what the hell is wrong with my RNG :\

1. Salvaged my firebringer( (it has stupid same icon has as of a normal sword)
2. Soulbound my ascended boots to a wrong toon (but thanks to 15th april update that can be solved).

I agree with fenix here, it’s so easy to make elonian leather square plus it’s cheap. On the other hand damask is such a pain to craft each day. Linen – 14s per bolt, silk – 6.5s per bolt. It MAD! One will be 25% done with legendary crafting at the price of 36 bolts of damask

Has anyone come out or tried using Zealot armor on mesmers with zealot trinket or any other combination? or even done some theory crafting on it?
The stats might/might not be useless on mesmers but do share your view.

@Lupanic: nice, that does sound like controlling an area mixed with other stuff.
I would really like to know what was the Developer(s) intention at the grass root level when they made this class.
And on the official engineer page it is mentioned that turrets are used as controlling an area ( though turrets are stupid), has anyone come across a build with turrets in which an engineer can be like " this 600 or 900 ranged area is mine, get the f out of it". More like a territorial or environment dependent brawler.

I love playing my engineer right now because the can adapt to almost any situation, more like jack of all trades. But i do wonder what the point of an engineer really is..

These are very very basic role of other professions (which can be change to do other roles too, not denying that eg. Necro can tank, mesmer can range dps etc.)
Warrior > they can get in enemy group and create chaos and break formation and knockdown (soldiers)
Guardian > Buff, sustain and tank
Mesmer > Create insane confusion in a fight
Necro > Conditions (need no say more)
Thief > finish off enemy with low health or who have strayed too far from the group
Ranger > Ranged DPS
Engineer > we can do all of the above but not as good as they can do. Being versatile is good but that is not the point, even elementalist are versatile, what do really engineer and elementalist bring to the table.
do like Deified idea of creating a base ahead and pushing forward with our gadgets and turrets or something to do with turrets because they make engineer class unique ( but they are pathetic, almost unusable except healing turret).
