It is very much true though.
The vast majority of WvW:ers don’t GvG.
If they did we would never have any actual sieges or real fights.

GvG is done by a small (although quite vocal) minority of the WvW population.

Actually the “vocal” minority is some of the people in your guild (i have played with you, ty for the lootbags) and one (1) guy from NA that creates 2-3 threads every day Seriously are you so bad in pvp?

On more serious note i love these threads because you can recongnize the #1 spammers so easily. Believe it or not there are some guilds which can destroy your laughable 60ppl zergs with only 20-25 guys. Get used to it and let them have some challenge for 1hour per week.

I don’t know what it is said in every mmo forum and i maybe was wrong about the 2 months thing. But Arena net and all the people that defend the blobs and speak bad about organized guilds, don’t realise that organized guilds are the only thing that keep wvw alive atm. Blobs NEED the organized 25man guilds because they are the ONLY opponent that can hit them and keep the PVP in wvw.

Seriously what do you think will happen when guilds decide that they are wasting their time and move along? WvW will be dead. You will only see midnight karma trains that have no intention of pvp and they will just farm karma/loot. I’m every day in wvw from the beginning and no matter what devs say i can assure you guilds are leaving and losing interest one by one. Even blobby german servers are losing ppl and they all gather to a few for maximize their karma/loot train profit (Elona, RS, Abba).

Arena Net must realise that if they want to keep wvw alive must give something to the guilds and must buff the organized gameplay NO the spamming 1 pve’s that come to wvw only because they want to farm. For the last time listen to the people that actually PLAY wvw. We don’t need better siege, we don’t more siege skills, we don’t need buff to the blobs, we don’t even need fairness in wvw. We just need PvP in WvW.

Great match up ty for the good fights Abbadons and Dzagonur. I really appreciate AM honesty. You like blobing and you do it, i have no problem with that. At least i prefer that than other “no” blobbing servers that are actually far worse (yeah AG i’m talking about you).

So, in regards to GvG and openfield, I don’t see a lot of “rampant speculation” going on. If nothing else, you chose your words poorly. The complaints about this new system potentially killing the GvG scene is entirely grounded.

This forum and this topic in particular are about WvW. WvW is about sieging and controlling objectives and about open field combat. All our changes are with that totality in mind and will continue to be.

It really makes me sad how little you understand about how wvw should be and what people really need. 20vs20 organized groups its the best thing that can happen in wvw. It’s not only extremely fun, it’s also creates a very nice community through good fair fights. Keep buffing the 80ppl blobs and in a couple of months almost nobody will be playing wvw.

Come ooooon AA grow the required parts and fight Lion. I believe the best ending of this drama would be a nice fight between you two. CBB show them!

The WXP boost is to basically everything and should significantly increase the rate at which characters gain ranks.

Or you can make ranks account and harder to gain them. Make ranks mean something.

GvG is usually 1 hour and 1 time per week. The remaining 167 hours of the week the guilds that participate to GvG are giving much more points to their server than you. Now stop crying and go practice your auto attacking skills which i imagine are awesome.

I think you don’t sense nissarts irony either. AS attacked 2 enemy factions on their home map in the closest thing to open PvP we have, and as I see it laughing at the utter failure they had. Indeed, may even have been a bit sheepish about the attack. You can ask for the favour of being left to have private fights but can hardly complain if others chose not to extend it, and being rude about the whole server is hardly productive.

Get back to your karma train sir (or cof in the difficult weeks). GvG and organized pvp is not something you can understand. Hodor!

You shouldn’t interrupt a GvG. It makes you look very weak and everyone is losing respect for your server. Try to avoid it next time. The guilds that participate in a GvG usually pick the 3rd server to fight because it’s easy to have the wp near the windmill.

Why so serious? This is not made by a fury member nor does it state anything about your guild. Its supposed to be a funny look at yesterdays’ open-mic event.

Well, it is just sad that the events displayed in the video are considered something worth of a funny lookback or even posting. If I personally had participated in that ‘event’, I would have been bored and disappointed by the lack of quality fight or challenge, judging by this highlight compilation…but whatever floats your boat I guess.

Honestly, it shows nothing. It’s simply ego-booster for the ones who win.
If you guys want to prove you’re all skilled either do some outmanned actions (no, I don’t mean 43 vs 47) or small scale GvG fights (one party, one and a half).

What and when are you gonna do something about the lag issue? Half the time i go to wvw is unplayable because of lag. I’m not talking about fps drops, i’m talking about massive lag. I don’t have internet connection problems.

Is this fun? Is this what i paid for? Lag is not a bug to keep my patience to get fixed. Lag destroys my game and make it unplaylable. What i supposed to do? Relax and wait to fix it after X months? I love everything in this game but if i can’t play it what’s the point?

Here is my stats with my WvW armor. My real critical chance is 43% (sigil of accuracy) and my amulet is rare (waiting for friday to get the pinky).

Sorry i didn’t answer to the previous guys, i was having fun ing. @WarMacheen, no my friend tagging is more complex that you think. I have noticed difference even if i kill something faster or slower. I didn’t want to sound bad it’s just i’m bad at english. I don’t have any problem to help, with my experience, any guy who does need help.

PS: I never used the tp to make money Just 4-5 hours per day casual gaming.

I saw 3 random video that “prooves” poor drops in Orr. In all of these videos i saw terrible tagging skills and in of them the player didn’t even get xp for the kills. Guys maybe you should try to be better at tagging mobs? Or maybe next time someone next to you spams “lfg” you actually group with him? I am not going to explain to you why this will help because i am sure that you won’t try it and you will continue the forum-whining. I guess bad farmers will always be bad farmers.

I had the same problem yesterday. I’m in Aurora ,tried to kill a Guardian from Abbadon’s Mouth, and i couldn’t finish him. 10 times, changed angle, i put stability, i put every boon i have and it was imposibble. When i tried to hit him with auto attack i got an invulnerable msg. I hope for a quick fix.

Is it going to be a fix on this?

I have one and i can see there are many available. I also checked with my guildies nobody can find it on tp.

3-4 days now i can’t find the arachnophobia in the tp. Can you plz fix it?
