Let’s be honest. Ebay thought they will dominate this tier and move back up to tier 4.

All I see is a known troll lol and many other Ebay people talking about good fights up until the stupid PvD thing (which is what I teased my own server about).

I know we definitely aren’t making points our only priority or expecting to dominate. Look at the countless match up threads talking about about roaming community and how we fight outside of walls a lot because it’s actually FUN. I mean we have guild named [Good Fights] lol. What we expected was good fights especially coming from DR’s ADBStyNoQQ since we have a history with them.

I think in general many people aren’t going balls to the wall in WvW here because they are either burnt out, doing pve/guild missions, or waiting on the big march patch.

How’s the Filipino community in Ebay?

[Guam] is an all Filipino guild on Ebay Jackie Lautchang is the GL. I play with Jackie alot thats how I remember how to spell that last name.

I’m actually 3/4 Chamorro (indigenous to Guam) and like 1/4 Filipino if that counts haha!

Most of the guys in the guild are Filipino though but a lot of them moved to SBI before free transfers ended sadly. Our guild leader is Noir, a female IRL lol.

You might know Lord Ein, a thief who recently joined your guild Noice. He’s Filipino too and a RL friend of mine originally in our Guild.

Interesting that you notice you a stronger EB presence during the weekdays. Maybe its just this week or a lot of our old time guilds stepping up but we used to be known for slacking during the week haha. We always took pride in focusing on reset and having a strong opener even if we couldn’t keep it up (lol) throughout the week.

I dont think we have the numbers to beat you Yakkingtons or you CD players. We at Ebay have this weird population stuck between T4 and T5 with our recent transfers. I don’t think we’ll stay forever in T4, but you guys are only beating us by 23k so far.

I wouldn’t call that getting “crushed” or “terrible” and there has been good fights so far this week. Have you gone up against our PK/FTF/GH groups? Have you seen our roaming community? I think that is where we definitely do well. I know I have been having fun roaming and trying to score kills against your much bigger groups.

I’ll be looking out for [Vile Faith] Norns for sure.

You must have missed our last match up threads with IoJ and DR. It was bromance of the highest order and I’m sure you’d be jealous :]. That was even with us winning for 3 weeks.

Every server has it’s bad apples and trash talkers.

This week is a good change of pace for Ebay server as a whole. Reset was pretty fun even though we got smashed. Gonna be out there later on tonight looking for roamers.

Was able to get in almost 2 hours of solo roaming and man was it fun being chased by so many people. Last match up for us on Ebay lasted quite a while so this is a nice change of pace, much more of a challenge with the amount of players CD and Yaks are able to bring out.

There was a pretty good human necro from [TOG] (mightve been TOC can’t remember) I got to 1v1. Let him rez up after and bowed. Hoping to find more of that this week. Cheers.

Yesterday, I ran into that Sylvari Mesmer in [RED] that just smashed me with confusion/invis but I kept coming back for more on my knight’s set Mesmer.

I didn’t change out of my gear/spec/utilities because I wanted to practice against them with my normal set up. I could’ve retraited to get condition removal on heal or gear for more hp or swap in Arcane Thievery too. But to me personally, that’s the easy route and I want to give myself a challenge.

I understand where Wizardauz is coming from though with a more balanced build and cbf retraiting for every 1v1/situation. But I also like duels/fight club where you are fighting a lot of specialized specs and gear. It makes those fights much more intense. Just a different point of view is all. They both have their places.

I think it still comes down to timing and gameplay and correct use of cooldowns more so than anything else.

Ps. When is fight club with AD/BSty/NoQQ?

Man as much as I don’t want to “gang up” on IOJ, your borderlands was super fun in terms of roaming last week so I’ll probably check there first all this week.

Been having a lot of fun in IOJ borderlands these past few days. Usually roaming solo or duo. Really great fights all around, whether it be 1v1s or small skirmishes. Glad to get away from the monster known as Kaineng haha.

The build is decent in sPvP, provided you have a decent team for helping you out. It is abysmal at roaming, for obvious reasons, but is fantastic for turtleing on a point, although you can get overwhelmed in sPvP.

In tPvP, however, the build performs fantastically, and the only major issue I have encountered is that a knockback engie will slowly take a point from me over the course of a few minutes, but that is easily solved with a bit of team support.

I think you were that Mesmer I dueled a couple of times last matchup (EB/Yaks/DB) with that [Taco] ele on the road near Centaurs. Super fun duels.

Will try out this build sometime but I guess I can’t give up the GS just yet haha.

Haven’t been able to play much but roaming this week has been surprisingly fun even though I play during late night/early morning.

I’ve had some really good fights and duels from [BS] Badger Spirits, [LoS] League of Shlong, [Dark], and [TTT].

Kinda wish you guys had more roaming instead of fighting around a supply camp with too many up-levels. When I think of [OG], I definitely don’t think of supply camp defending haha.

I know this probably was a quickly put together kinda thing but staying around the same place for over half the video ain’t too entertaining. I think I was the one who told Karlesi/Sol to run with you guys more, that guy needs to put out a video too!

Maybe you can make it to other Fight Clubs Tzenjin or that other guy said they are going to host later on.

Yeah, half of them were too busy running around figuring out this Redvale Jumping Puzzle and dealing with the Guards/Scouts. Tried to get Confusion on you asap when you came out since you + npcs respawning would’ve wiped us for sure haha.

Was in Eternal during reset for the first few hours and man that was great fights everywhere and much more chaotic since I’m usually in our borderlands at the start. Swapped over to EB bl and it was just relentless pushes from each side. Good fights with I think it was [CL] guild from Yaks and too many from Mags to remember.

Hopefully this thread is cleared of all the pointless bickering because man it is depressing. We need more people like Besetment/Rebel Daughter posting here.

Just got out of BP borderlands.

Fun night of defending garrison with barely 5 at first then being able to rally more to push out to Woodhaven. The fights on the north side to knock down those couple of trebs you guys set up was fun.

When we finally decided to push and take the tower, you guys pushed NW gate at garrison and had I think 2 Golems at the inner gate around 20% when we made it back to stop you guys. I was telling people to not take the tower but instead camp inside lol, good thing no one listened to me.

Thanks for the action and good fights all around.

Ether + 30 water is pretty ridiculous with the amount of condition removal you can get. You can literally just dance or have a serious discussion in guild chat while tanking someone spamming conditions.

On a side note – Rhoto, how has roaming been for you guys since the new match up? I’m 80 now and fully geared so I’ll be looking out for you guys when we (Ebay) hit T4 again.

Ms Refurinn[RE] I believe. Now It’s possible he/she is finishing map completion, but at least have the respect to take off the guild tag in doing so.

A couple nights ago we (Ebay) took hills in BP with someone from [RE]. We actually had a decent conversation and we weren’t accusing anyone of anything. It does look weird if you are a diehard WvW’er or from BP, but they seemed pretty cool running with us.

Also, looking forward to the WvW videos man. If that small fight at the end of your build video was any indication of the full video then man does it look really good so far.

I always used P/V/T with a mix of Knight on my Guardian but after leveling up an Ele and running with Clerics gear, I’ve been wanting to try out a Clerics set for my Guardian. This post and your other one definitely pushes me to try it out. Gonna be broke again too :[ haha.
