Well if this is true I guess my original question is answered.

Sylvari are made in resemblance of humans… and that also seem to include not only the look but also the “sexual behavior” of humans.

Long story short, Sylvari females have boobs just for having fun ^.^

I find this hard to believe in.

Simply out of technical reasons – as in “How on Earth do they do it… ?”.

But also because it would be very strange for a species to have organs needed to have any form of sex while it is completely incapable of sexually reproducing.

This would very much change the way I look on Sylvari and they way the Sylvari community and relationships work :/

Even though I do not have a Sylvari character myself I’ve been wondering about this for the past few days.

Considering the way Sylvari reproduce – “Sylvari are not born. They awaken beneath the Pale Tree with knowledge gleaned in their pre-life Dream.” – there doesn’t seem to be any functional use of female Sylvaries having breasts.

I could understand that these could have a purely sexual purpose. But then again, considering the way Sylvari reproduce and the material their “skin” is made of, I don’t think that they are capable of having… well… any form of “sex”.

It would be a lot more logical to give female Asuras boobs as Asuras (as far as we know)
reproduce in the same way as humans do.

The only theory that could explain the shape of Sylavri females is that the Pale Tree is trying to make her children resemble humans as much as it is possible because she was planted by a human (Ronan – a member of the Shining Blades during the Krytan civil war around 250 years ago).

Does anyone else have an opinion on this subject ?

You should really put this in the “World Recruitment” in the WvW forum section ….

Not many people look into this section. And it is supposed to be a place where individual players post info about themselves when they want to find a guild.

I play bunker guard with hammer/staff.

The key to doing damage with it to have a Sigil of Intelligence on it and make sure that you get to use Mighty Blow on weapon swap.

Taking Glacial Heart is also a option now (since they halved its CD and finally made it kind of viable.

But as posts above already pointed out …. you lose the extra suitability that blocks from mace/focus provide. If you are fighting enemies that deal condition damage or spam lots of small damage power attacks, you probably won’t notice a big loss in suitability. But a big power critter such as Lich Form is probably going to destroy you

My team was winning a tPvP game and I had a d/c when we have 460 points and 2 points ticking for us with over 200 points lead. (Not my connection d/c, its was a usual EU region PvP d/c)

We WON but because I didn’t load back in on time I didn’t get any rank points :/

6-7 minutes is max I’ve had, and that is because I solo join teamQ ^^

If you are playing in like 1AM to 6AM time span the queues might be long … but that is because there are no people online :P

Well I hope that if they can figure out what happened on .230 server at 14:20 today, then they will be able to fix it finally…

I know there are quite a few posts like this around but I wanted to make this one because I did the /ip inside the game in which lag spikes happened and I looked at what time they happened (most posts don’t contain this info).

So maybe that is going to help them in fixing the issue :/

What I’m referring to is not skill delay. Its more like “disconnecting” from the server for a short period of time.

10 minutes ago my game had two MASSIVE lag spikes. It was not my lag because we were (mostly) all effected and it is strange because it was my 4th game in a row and I had no lag at all in the first 3 games.

First one happened at the beginning of the game (within the 10 second count down) and the second one about 3 minutes into the game.

On the first one 4 out of 5 people in my team had lag and were “stuck” for about 6-7 seconds (and considering we got to the mid at the same time as the enemies, they probably had lag too).

On the second one both teams had 3-4 second lag spike and one of the enemies even disconnected (making the game easy for my team but also very sad and unfair).

I don’t have an option to change skills while ooc. And then when I’m in combat, I have the option, but can’t do it :/

I got hit by a mesmer greatsword auto attack about 10 seconds after he died (possibly at the exact time he was respawning). And I was standing on his “far” :/

Tbh I can’t remember if I took any actual damage or was it just a display bug, I just remember it made that unique sound mesmer greatsword auto attack makes.

I love PvP and like to join solo. But because of possibility of getting Skyhammer I have to join teamQ alone instead of playing soloQ like I’m supposed to xD

Better sell it so you can afford good gear, then you will be able to farm out one in a day ^^

The bug doesn’t only effect 1 person, the entire team gets MEGA SPAMMED :/

Pretty sure you have to equip them, which means you can’t sell them afterward.

I’m not planning on selling them directly. After unlocking them, I’m going to combine them into an Eternity and then sell that ^.^ Its not as much gold but I do get to keep both Twilight and Sunrise skins while still getting 4k+ gold

I get tons of it from PvP … tPvP is very good for completing reward tracks fast (and every track gives you 5 exotics).

I’ve already crafted 2 ascended armor sets and 6 ascended weapons and there are still 2 and a half stack of Dark Matter on my storage alt :/

Absolute worst case scenario, they introduce another tier of gear with higher stats than ascended. Legendary stats would automatically upgrade to be BiS, but you’d have to craft to the next tier yourself if you didn’t have a legendary. This scenario, however, is very unlikely.

Thats what I was thinking about. That is why I said I’d have 1000 gold profit (the difference in prince of an Eternity and a Sunrise :P).

Tbh I didn’t even considered this to be a possible exploit. Its just how the Mystic Forge works … everything it pops out loses the soul-bound/account-bound status. It the basic principal of many gold making techniques (such as karma to gold converting)

I’d like to get an opinion from people.

I’m thinking about selling the Twilight I’ve been using for about a year now. Stat wise I won’t feel the any difference because I already have an Ascended greatsword to replace it with. And also with the wardrobe system I will be left with the unlocked Twilight skin once I no longer have it.

The positive thing about selling it is that I would get a free Sunrise skin (as I would unlock the skin from it before I molt it into a Eternity). The negative thing is that at some point in time we might get some game content that is going to require a legendary to access :/

So … 1000 gold + free Sunrise skin (and staying on Ascended greatsword skinned as Twilight) or keeping the real Twilight (and not risking missing out on possible future content) ?

To be more exact:

1. Can I use Tempered Spinal Blades that has been transmutated (to Static Tempered Spinal Blades) to make Dynamic Tempered Spinal Blades ?

2. Can I use a Twilight that has been transmutated (to something and now back to original Twilight look) to make Eternity ?

Both items still have their original names (transmutation process didn’t effect that).

I’ve had this problem for the last 2 days, my character spins with the Whirling Wrath animation, the skill goes on cooldown normally but I deal no damage in the process (it happens every 3rd or 4th time, its not every time).

Anyone else having this issue ? :/

At what point did using Line of Warding (Guardian Staff skill) start getting you in combat ?

It is a no damage skill and is not supposed to do that. I’ve been having this problem for not so long (maybe 3-5 days), it never worked like this before (and I’ve been using it since BWE2).

I’ve tried using the skill in all WvW, PvE and PvP. With same results every time, I get in combat when my foe gets interrupted by the line.

I have a big problem. Before ascended gear was released I invested into the best sigils and runes for my exotic gear, that I got from WvW. But now I have full Ascended gear and all the sigils and runes I have on my old armor/weaps are simply “stuck” there – and they are worth ~90 gold, not a small amount for a WvW player. Atm one extractor costs ~31 gold and is of no use at all (none of the sigils I have is worth more then 31g individually).

Don’t you think that with the new ascended gear released it would have been fair to “unlock” the ability to salvage exotic WvW gear ?

Do you think its worth to storage my WvW gear in the bank in hope that one day they decide to give us an option or ‘save’ the sigils and runes from them ? :/

I was on Far Shiverpeaks for 100% of time in the season. My server was 2nd. In my WvW achievement panel I see that my server was 4th and I got no reward … quite silly.

I’ve done the Meta achievement in first 2 days on the season, please give me my reward ^^

If I send an item to someone and he sends me back the predetermined amount of gold for it (in order to avoid the TP tax and the waiting) are we braking any game rules ?

In “Guild Wars 2 Conduct Breaches & Outcomes” it is said like this “Selling or buying a Guild Wars 2 account, in-game item, service or gold for real-world currency in a manner not authorized by Guild Wars 2 and us; selling a Guild Wars 2 account for in-game currency; aiding others in such transactions, or advertising the intent to commit such acts”. Does that mean it is OK with the game rules to sell items over the mailing service as long as neither play feels scammed or tricked ?

Also is advertising that I want to sell an item using this system in “map” chat against the game rules ?
