To me British north west, it sounds like a name that would fit a man that has dark skin. (said with a straight face and not meant as a joke)
Well every now and then gw2 has added some events that cause entire maps to actually try, kinda raid like. (not world bosses HA) If anyone played the one time only cursed shore release then seeing 150 people wipe and try again was the most fun iv even had in gw2. So its not like Anet doesn’t think like we do…………….. i think/hope/FAITH.
Hi there!
As a player who has 21 character slots with a total of 13 lvl 80 characters and a good amount of playing time I do have a lot of accountbound stuff like Music instruments, royal terrace pass, endless bank Portal, toys, etc pp.
I always have to put it into the bank in order to use it for another character, and better remember who got it or I have to waste a lot of time to search for it.
I would find it very nice if we had at least 5 Slots or so in our inventory where the usual bags are, to put accountwide stuff into, so that they would Show up in These Slots no matter on wich character we log in with.
That would make things easier.
(sorry for the random capitals, I can’t seem to turn of Auto correction in my browser -.-)
Its one of those why not put bloodstone in the wallet things it sounds good and very convenient but when thought about it has many problems that I’m sure some people are about to bother thinking of below.
They already do support youtubers…I mean look at AuroraPeachy, doesn’t do anything but cry on the camera, and she gets free kitten from Anet.
True, but her channel is also very small our community alone should add up to more support than what she is getting, I’m not saying i want Anet to hand feed them but I’m sure many staff at Anet have a number of youtubers and streamer they like, they should show appreciation for them in a large way that would make their channels actually grow. I mean being on the main page also means your on the client so it would help and encourage them i would hope.
I would rather them support people that bring value.
True AuroraPeachy is not one i would pick for the spotlight, i just think once a week for a bit they should spotlight a channel and help it grow.

As a pretty active streamer and youtuber, I can definitely say they do quite a lot for me.
I would always appreciate more, but they host me and others on twitch quite often and do show a lot of appreciation towards us for putting forth effort into community interest through advertisement.
The only things I would really like at this point would be for more attention to game maintenance and more communication with the playerbase. Bug fixes just aren’t prioritised enough these days, so if I could ask for one thing from them it would be for that – more bug fixes.
True but the larger youtubers and streamers are large is our community for a reason of course, but even going by our community they could be much more popular. A post on the main page wouldn’t be hard for Anet to do for their hard work and it would defiantly bump up the Gw2 youtuber and streaming presence as a whole.
I definitely agree with Op, if a youtuber like woodenpotatoes were to do what he does now but with other games that are popular right now (like angryjoe does) he would be a very popular game youtuber regardless of if he shows his face or not, this is mainly because wp gets easily immersed onto every aspect of the game and he has that in depth interest on the lore of a game.
I always wonder why he is solely attached to the GW franchise, but hey its his call, but if he does start to review other popular game titles you can bet your bottom dollar he will be earning big bucks from YouTube, just like the people who post videos of them playing “minecraft” (shudders)….
Woodenpotatoes has been sitting at 86k for awhile now and he at least deserves 100k+ just by going by the age of his channel alone, i truly think Anet should do what Riot Games did because yes it would help them out but its also a way for Anet to recognise their hard work as a whole company.
Gw2 isn’t as big as Lol
There’s the problem right there. If GW2 isn’t as popular as LoL, then a GW2 streamer won’t be as popular as a LoL streamer, will they? Besides, I’m not a fan of LoL, but I’ve been unfortunate enough to come across some of their streamers – I won’t go into details because I don’t want a forum ban for describing what some of them do (and are encouraged to do), but I don’t want that in this game’s community.
A lot of the Youtubers and fan sites already get special treatment as it is, they don’t need more. Then again, I never understood the whole appeal of watching someone else play a game instead of playing it myself; or hearing someone preach an opinion instead of forming my own.
I don’t mean to compare Lol to Gw2 as that would be pretty foolish i simply mean that being loyal to Gw2 means they are less big as other youtubers/streamer but Woodenpotatoes has 86k subs and that’s correct me if I’m wrong one of the highest in out community but even our community should add up to being larger than that, it must mean a great deal of our community doesn’t know how entertaining and helpful Gw2 youtubers can be.
Honestly, youtubers don’t deserve any more attention. If you are entertaining, people will come.
That’s true for many other games but not Gw2 it simply doesn’t have the streaming and youtube presence other games have, many of the youtubers would be bigger if they covered other games but they are loyal to gw2 and they shouldn’t be punished for that.
Quite simply on the main website of league of legends Riot Games advertised the most impactful and popular youtubers. They gave them a spotlight because they deserved it and i believe Anet should do the same thing for a number of Gw2 youtubers/streamers, a good reason for this is because it would help them out greatly i mean Gw2 isn’t as big as Lol and many of the youtubers simply deserve so much more of a subscriber base than they currently have.
I mean Woodenpotatoes is quite famous in the Gw2 community yet he only has 86k subs which is not down to the channel it is down to Gw2 simply not being big right now, so i think if a company like Riot Games can advertise already majorly big channels then surely Anet can help out the well deserving Gw2 channels.
I think you guys missed the OP’s point. The patch notes says that skins not obtainable by players have been removed from the wardrobe. The destroyer scythe is still in the wardrobe, suggesting that the destroyer staff is obtainable and no one has discovered the recipe.
Or maybe you understood, and you just disagree and think Anet forgot to remove it from the wardrobe. Doesn’t read that way though.
yea this is what I’m getting at, and i can understand that the current patch notes were not directed at other items such at the Destroyer Scythe but just knowing that they actively think none attainable items shouldn’t be shown makes me think it just might be there because it is in the game somewhere XD
Or it’s an oversight and it really isnt available in game.
True but that’s a big oversight considering i simply cant imagine Anet not noticing or fixing it when they fix other oversights. If so then they should fix the oversight as an apology to the players by putting it into the game.

This skin is not just no longer attainable, it was never attainable. No one has this skin.
yeye and the quote from the patch note is “not attainable” not no longer attainable, so it must be possible to get right… right :’(
So the Destroyer Scythe has of course been bugging a lot of people, i have always thought it was just something they haven’t bothered to fix BUT in the latest patch notes on bug fixes at the bottom it reads “Removed items from the wardrobe view that are not attainable by players.” which must mean Anet does think none obtainable items don’t belong there. which makes sense considering the wizards hat and various other items are not available to see. So this has to mean it is obtainable but it just has some kind of hidden mystic forge recipe, so can i please get like a dev to give me a slight nod, so i can spends 1000s of gold looking XD
My asuras would soo kitten cute in a onesie outfit, like a little panda or dragon. TAIL INCLUDED please! i will pay many moneys XD
This is going to be extremely hard to reason with you just by reading your entire post coming to the conclusion that anyone who disagrees is attention seeking but I’ll try to decipher things appropriately:
Those 3 items are classed as crafting materials and respectively belong in the ‘deposit crafting mats’ section of the bank.
They are not a currency. You cannot buy anything with these ascended crafting mats, therefore, they do not belong in the wallet and/or cannot be converted into a currency.
As much as I like the idea of depositing them all infinitely with no restrictions into one place.. it just wasn’t meant to be that way.
Have you tried making the Star of Gratitude (emp frag eater) or the Mawdrey thing (bloodstone dust eater)? I hope one day they make a dragonite eater of sorts to lessen the burden that is these crafting materials.
No i agree with what your saying, that’s why i said “don’t think” JUST DO IT! XD. If you over think it, it makes sense to not add but when it comes down to it most people would prefer it.
Don’t think should or shouldn’t just think YES cause 99% of people would love it and the 1% are the people who disagree with things for attention. XD PLEASSE me is begging.
