I give it a 8/10 score. Stunning visuals. Interesting new play mechanics. Challenging enemies. Overall I am happy. The only reason why it didn’t get a 9 is the fact that, for central tyria, I fully mapped 7 different professions and completed 2 story instances and all I got was mastery points. It would have been nicer if all my masteries where unlocked for that region. It is what it is and I have a few more years till the new gw3 comes out to complete.

Gift of exploration should not be sold. If a person wants it, he/she should explore and earn it. Sorry that you feel you wasted your time doing so. No one forced you to do so. Your not at a loss anyways. Create a legendary and sell that. I swear some of these post should read, “cry baby crying about something that I feel I deserve because I said so.”

I would love this, but it will make it a little unfair to the other classes. Elementals can switch to 4 sets of moves with the press of the f keys so that would make it a total of 40 if there was a weapon swap. The engineers has kits which can make it to 20 moves. For this to be fair they would have to give the other classes at least 1 more set of weapons on swap. If that happens the new complaint would be elementals and engineers would need a 3rd set as well. Anet will never win in whatever they decide to do.

Yeah it sucks there is really no female armor for these 2 races. I do know you get the female variant of certain costumes. I use the daydreamer outfit on my asura female for this reason.

Gw2 should have utilized DX11, 64bit and multi GPU support from launch. DX12 should be part of the Xpac as well as a 2k mode at least. Who knows, maybe that’s why the price tag to the Xpac was kinda steep, so they can include these wonderful things.

Typically an expansion pack is around 39.99 these days. Regardless, I will pay the 100 for the digital deluxe platinum rediculous edition. I rather pay a little more anyways, then get another season of LS. With that being said I hope they are working on the next one as we speak.

Make your own group. That’ll solve your problem. I myself run a warrior and have no preference. But if I write all welcome pro only. It means know your stuff or don’t bother. Time is money in this game and everyone wants to get gold as fast as possible. can’t get mad about that.

Since we are demanding refunds. Can I get my gems back for all the stuff I bought at full price when it got discounted such as the digital deluxe and skins I acquired through the years

Population is probably smaller because spring break is almost over everywhere. And also the fact the game is getting stale. Almost 2 years has past and still no new expansion. LS was alright but honestly I don’t want a second year of LS exploring the same tired old maps. Anet should drop a new expansion every year/ year and half to coincide with each elder dragon. The populous wants new maps, enemies, weps, armor and so on. They also need more diversity in skills. Every1 with a great sword has the same skill set, which is lame. they should try and at least triple that number if not more. I still enjoy the game very much but do find myself bored at times.

To those with 2 of the same legendaries are entitled to nothing. What makes you so special that you need a “refund.” Really. Your just mad that you aren’t special anymore. No one forced you to make 2 of the same, that was a personal preference. I would be more mad if anet caves in to these crybabies. And stop comparing dual legendaries to eternity. If you had that skin, would you really be reskining to dusk or dawn?

Unless you made two of the same legendaries as well, the tone in your comments only makes it sound like “you’re mad since you cant be one of the special snow flakes”. Anyway.

People with duplicate legendaries are just asking for some sort of compensation for time spent on one of the longest grind the game has to offer. That being said, I agree with you and I DONT think a refund or give out another legendary skin is the way to go, since it IS a conscious decision and they did get the utility of having two of the same legendary for however long they had it. I undertand the line has to be drawn somewhere and in this case ANet decided it’s to include all legendaries in the process. However, if you have been on the other side of the fence and spend a few hundred hours equivalent of time/effort to obtain a skin to look a certain way and now that effort is for almost nothing, I think you’d feel cheated in some way as well. Some people shrug it off, but some people will be vocal and I dont think that is unreasonable.

I have no doubt the changes are already set in stone and this discussion is for nothing as the patch comes live in a few days, but I still think ANet should consider this issue as a future reference and consider all major changes more carefuly. IMHO the easiest compromise to resolve this particular issue would still have been to keep legendaries account bound on equip and keep its skin out of the wardrobe. The least amount of change that would influence status quo and perceieved image of legendaries, and no one really would have a strong reason to be unhappy.

I’m not mad or jealous. I have 4 of my own and in the process of 5 and 6. I could have made another of the same but I choose not to. If I did choose to make another of the same, I would not demand compensation. I would simply just live with it.

Can’t wait and I hope I get back all those armor skins that I salvaged over a year ago. My bank will have so much space after this update.

Would like to see something, maybe purchasable by gems, to make weapons and armor account bound instead of soul bound. This would be especially great for legendaries and ascended armor.

You cannot ban an afker. And if so there should be a long investigation into it. We are human and things may occur in our personal life. I myself have done it a few times rushing to work or even fell asleep laying next to my son cause he wants me to lay with him so the Cookie Monster don’t eat him. I’m 3 legendaries in and put many hours in all it’s modes just to be banned for simply forgetting. Stuff happens and it’s not the norm for me at least. It’s hard to even prove someone is afk intentionally so to be marked guilty until proven innocent is just plain wrong.

So there Is a rumor going around for months around the arch about craftable precursor. I hope hope it’s just that a rumor. Doing so will decrease the value of all current precursors and sky rocket mats which are need to make legendaries. I know it sucks seeing everyone running around Tyrian with those groovy footprints but if you don’t have one it’s not meant to be. I bought 3 precursors and found 2 simply by going on the daily grind kitten many of us do. And like the idea if I find a precursor I can make money to fund my next project whether it be making another legendary, which I’m on my forth, or blow it gems to buy cosmetic item for my toons. Unless they plan on adding totally new rarer mats to make a precursor, I feel it’s a bad idea. Time will tell and I’ll see all you at the lions arch BBQ..
