Kaineng keep up the strong effort!

When CO game to Dragonbrand from T3 we didn’t expect to dominate T2. I expected TC to hold us down based on my experience from being on Kaineng.

I think CO is the only xfer to DB that wasn’t from Tier 1. We’ve fought in Tier 1 for 4 months, then went to Kaineng and fought from T6 to T2.

Can FA and TC please deploy forces “all out” tonight? I want to see you guys try your hardest. I want to see PINK, GODS, RET, BT, VK , everyone out tonight

On a real note, from being in T1 before I know it’s all trash talk, chest pumping and pitting ones ego against another. I do follow follow your T1 thread daily and enjoy all the funny comments however I wish each server would show a little more class.

To the [RE] Guild in Kaineng, I have great admiration for the coordination and organization you guys always put together. The best experience and fighting I get in Eternal Battlegrounds is from your Guild hands down. I wish it were so easy on Maguuma to say that I had a full “Guild Zerg” running around bulldozing things but for us Maguumas, our zerg when you fight it consists of at best a 50-50 diffrerence between pugs and the mixture of WvW Guilds. I hope that you still enjoy the fights. I would have to say that Saturday (5/4) in the mid-afternoon before we abandoned Eternal Battlegrounds to take East Keep, we had a very healthy even exchange of wins – losses but you guys seemed to really get kitten off and leave after we beat you at the grub. Also, thank you to JudgeD for the compliments, that was me and the Maguuman Army! I look forward to fighting you more in the future, I have been working diligently to get the non-guild players or new-guild players to work on their coordination, builds, etc.

If you were fighting an actual RE zerg at the grub it sure as heck was not being commanded by Ethersin lol

As for them leaving, if Ethersin was there they may have gone to do something else…but since you fought them at the grub that probably just means they were like “meh let’s go do some PvE”.

Right, and when I command in EB, I have about 5 RE with me and 20-30 pugs…lol -_-. For some reason our guild only WvW’s when Ethersin is commanding.

Are you the D/D ele that commands RE sometimes? Or am I thinking of someone else?

Im the Tanky Guardian that is the first one to run into an enemy zerg. Most people wont push even if you tell them, so I lead by example lol

Sounds like more of a pug problem rather than a Guild internal problem. It’s quite obvious when Ethersin is on though.., cause there’s 65 RE on Eternal at once. Hmm thought you guys had an elementalist who was high ranking and had a commander icon. Maybe it’s a YB person. Pugs don’t lead by example, they run in fear. Do what you can do with what you can rely on.

lol this is a huge misconception that we always get regarding how many RE there are. During prime time we only have 20-30 RE players on, the rest are our servers militia. Many are new recruits we are trying to train up as well, I can admit that we are not as strong as we were during T2, due to people transferring out, quitting, ext. But we are building each day and hopefully we can bring good fights to WvW.

I’m glad to see FA and TC are still alive. FA Bl is really buggy, wish it would be fixed. Also there is a siege placement problem were they vanish while being built… weird?

As far as the FA spy that was spying on CO during Friday night in EB, we know who you are , and you will be banned from the server Ts3 the next time you come on. Don’t need to cause any drama from this but it’s pretty obvious that when VK knew were we were almost at all times after some point in the night that something was up. Good thing your video confirms it, we have screenshots from the spy whispering certain CO members in-game, and we have Teamspeak logs.

I don’t believe TC and FA are seeking. I believe both servers are just fine. When FA and TC put out their best players (for example reset night), DB still comes out on top . We can assume this as a mix of luck and skill level. Across the rest of the days DB’s guilds go out there almost 5-6 days of the week consecutively in force.

I ask for everyone to use this thread as the main official thread for this match up. Really no need for two threads and this seems to be the more popular one. A moderator has been contacted to merge the threads.

Well my friend , DB held Mendon and Anzalias for about an hour but yeah for the most part not much happened due to AC’s. We lost Stonemist twice due to a unfortunate lack of scouting

I’ve enjoyed my first reset on Dragonbrand. Within 1 hour we hit 340 PPT which impressed me. Maintained higher then 250 PPT so far. [CO] went to EB tonight. Again, I’d like to give shout outs to WAR and LoW from Dragonbrand, VK from FA for being great opponents and TV as well. Also, a shout out to all Dragonbrand tgat worked with [CO] on our first reset night. It was nice meeting a lot of you guys and introducing ourselves to the community.

My favorite moment of tonight was at Umberglade were we caught VK by surprise and once they were downed we went on the plateau south of the camp. Before we could really heal up a huge TC Zerg came charging up the plateau and we managed to kill 80% of them, but we started dropping in numbers and getting scattered while our opponents were rezzing each other on the side.

Oh, I also enjoyed the DB train across Ogrewatch as the FA Zerg was on the gates and meanwhile as soon as TC pushes out the tower (the moment we were waiting for) we rolled over both zergs, regrouped in Pangloss and ported to our spawn before we could be sandwiched by FA at the north and south entrances of Pangloss.

Overall, my favorite and best reset by far.

Hello everyone! Whose excited for reset?

I’m going to be very honest with the OP, you should put a lot of thought into transferring your guild. I’m assuming you’ve already talked to your guild but it will affect your guild. There are a lot of factors that sometimes may go unaccounted for. Transferring to any server at this point on the NA ladder costs 1800 gems. If you are moving around 300 people….the amount of cash that is….it’s harder than it looks to get that together with transfers right now between 60-70g a person.

I highly doubt any Tier 5-7 server can give you more than 1000g aid. As well with other posters I will agree that if your guild is as good as you and others claim you will imbalance the lower tiers and raise the server at least a tier or 2. What happens then when you face a lot higher skill and bigger coverage gaps within your server of transfer?

In honest. Nothing against the lower servers however, look at tier 2-4 as well and see what they can offer you. I know when I was transferring my guild I told myself there are a limited amount of choices since we only wanted Tier 1. Then we did research on tier 2-4 and saw that T2 was the best place for us.

If gem prices go up May 1 I think it will take CO until the end of May to fully transfer over and to be able to be in full force again. Until then we can only run 20-30 man teams a night during the weekdays and unfortunately prolly max 40-50 people this reset. Also, unfortunately until we can get situated we won’t bee too much help for DB since our #1 priority is to farm the gold to get our team here.

The term bandwagoner is thrown out to every guild that doesn’t transfer to a T3 or lower server. CO had to move because we were losing players due to the toxic atmosphere that is on Kaineng. The constant negativity gets old after 2-3 months. Kaineng’s NA teams were under a lot of stress. Anyone that argues against that is a kitten The 3 NA guilds that could influence the change in PPT by a lot had to cover from 1pm EST – 2am EST everyday. We had no EU guilds and a very fair weathered server. I do wish Kaineng the best however, if anyone thinks I was going to let my guild die on that server just because of server pride you are wrong.

So…we just transferred onto Dragonbrand and it will most likely take 3 weeks to get our guild out in full force b/c of the 24,000 gold cost. However, I can’t help but to feel like Goku as he’s ascending to Super Saiyan 1. Just wait TC and FA, we couldn’t stay away from you, but push us around….you might unlock our hidden power.

Yes, we’ve been talking about potentially transferring for a few weeks now after noticing consistent flaws in Kaineng and lack of action to resolve those issues.

Hi, im the founder and Head GM of CO. Just to make an official statement from Cryptic Omen [CO] to the public we’d like to say the following:

- We loved Kaineng. We came to it willingly. Helped build the Teamspeak by promoting and founded the first server forums then later worked with Babui on founding Kaineng United.

- Fought for Kaineng every night of the week since Tier 6 and have had a rep in every server meeting for the last 3-4 months.

- We’ve enjoyed the underdog role and proving the might of Kaineng as we’ve RISE’d through the tiers. Many doubted we’d ever make it to Tier 2 to begin with…and then we won Tier 2 and felt really good about it.

- CO’s transfer is by no means influenced by any other guilds behavior or potential transfer. Our decision to leave Kaineng and find a new home was solely based on the well-being of my guild and safe keeping its future.

- CO is undecided about which server we’ll be transferring to. The only options on the table our NA Tier 2 or higher. This will be our last move. We will not move again due to many reasons (financial, morals, exhausted). Our decision will be announced May 1st.

Lastly, it’s been a pleasure fighting everyone and sharing experiences and laughing about fond memories. We’ve always tried to respect our opponents and give credit to Kaineng when they’ve worked hard together. To all the guilds and individuals that have contributed to Kaineng’s success and CO’s, I wanted to send my deepest thanks for helping us become the guild we’ve become.

In reference to the match up with FA and TC it’s probably been the best WvW I’ve had the last 7 months. I’ve really enjoyed and learned a lot from both servers and so has [CO] as a whole. We’re looking for a chance of pace, more of a server with stability and average time zone coverage (nothing too crazy).

I think there’s a lot of really good commanders out there across a lot of servers. On Kaineng right now (forgive me if I leave out a few and I won’t vouch for myself) I believe the following are very skilled:

Prince Jarvan [RISE]
Sparkidious [RISE] (reputation built while commanding for RISE) but now in [CO]
Fencehopper [RISE]
Dekar [CO] – really tough headed and molds any army into an effective one
Sarabi [CO] – puts in an extreme amount of time into WvW and Kaineng.
Phill [Meow] – he is pretty good and puts lots of time in the off hours
Jang Gun [WM] – always brought an effective team to the field
Ethersin [RE] – very effective and skilled.
Kiriasura [RE] – verry funny to play with. He’s good too.

Oops. My food is here. Gotta eat. There’s plenty more left out ill edit this when I get home. Overall Kaineng is very skilled.

Hey. I’m the leader of CO. I read the last two pages of these forums and rest assured that sort of behavior does not fly in CO. I’m sure each guild and server has had one bad duck in its midst or a player that wants to “screw” around a little one day when they know they shouldn’t. The matter from TC Borderlands has been resolved and that player has been removed from our guild.

Hopefully, TC can be at peace with that. Great fights this weeks and even though Kaineng is struggling to keep up in the PPT we will continue to fight strong and not give up!!!! Rock on guys.

Stacking a server in my mind is bringing the best guilds you can to Kaineng to be eventually be the best WvW server out there. That’s not what we want. We dont’ want to be in Tier 1 which is what we’ve said many times. Tier 2 fighting is a lot better

We don’t care if no EU guilds came over, we just want to make the forum announcement that Kaineng is lacking in the EU Timezone and we’d wish for more players that are online during EU primetime to consider Kaineng as the next stop on their flight destination. Anyone that would like to talk about transferring to Kaineng can contact me on these by Gw2 forums, in-game forums, or www.kainengserver.com.

Even if you’re not convinced to come over and would just like to scope out what we have, the makeup of our top guilds and how your guild would play an important role, feel free to reach out. I think a lot of you misunderstand the purpose of this thread.

Yes, we don’t care about Tier 1. We do care about solidifying our WvW coverage all around the clock. Right now WvW is frusterating for the NA guilds b/c when we get online all the keeps in all the borderlands are upgraded against us b/c we have no organized WvW guilds in the EU Time frame. The NA guilds have been playing earlier and staying up later for about 4 weeks now and it’s starting to strain us. Thought we would reach out to the Guild Wars 2 community and see the response we would get.

We need EU guilds/players and we could use 2-3 more NA guilds between the size of 20-30 members that will go out and fight a few times a week. That’s all

This has been a great match up. Thanks for almost a month of great fights.

To be honest, I don’t care about Tier 1. I think I speak for Kaineng when I say that nobody in the server does want to go to Tier 1. We are happy in Tier 2 and the fighting is a lot more competitive here. We like fighting Blackgate and TC. Soon to be our new rival, Fort Aspenwood as well.

Kaineng is a beautiful place and a lot of the guilds here communicate with each other and are very friendly. All the WvW transfer guilds (CO/RUN/TL/KO/RISE/etc.) work well with the native players & guilds on the server. If anything we’ve tried building server unity with upcoming server VoIP which just got set up a few days ago and building a community server forums (www.kainengserver.com). The server had neither before T1-3 guilds transferred into Kaineng about 1.5 months ago.

We’ve been on the server for almost 2 months now. So, I think most people would agree we’ve fought for Kaineng and have the right to call it our home as well. It’s beautiful because nobody on Kaineng wants to leave it and everyone who has moved here has grown fond of it. Thanks for the good questions, happy to answer them.

In reference to Isaac.6041 – We don’t believe we should buy any guilds. If a guild would like to look for another home and transfer they should raise the funds to do so themselves. There is a certain lack of respect for servers that “buy” other guilds. Sure there are many, many rumors out their that other servers are doing it. So let them if it is true. We choose to be different.

We won’t be paying anyone .

I won’t make this a long post like the other servers. It’s quite simple.

If you want a server that has the most potential to grow, I still think its Kaineng.
Forget about SoS, Blackgate, SoR, and JQ. Those are already established servers.

If your guild wants a new fresh start, or a change of pace, consider Kaineng.

I’ll be quite honest. Our NA was weak at first (2 months ago) and we’ve been developing it over the last six weeks with strong teamwork and coordination between many of the NA guilds (too many to list here). Our EU time slot is very weak. I would say that Kaineng has 0 EU guilds. So, we’re looking for European guilds to come help out as well, you won’t have any queue times and you’ll have plenty of competition. During our oceanic hours, we’re very strong and some hours of the day we have queue. So far there is nobody in Tier 2 that can combat our Oceanic forces. This includes WM, KOR, and many others that stay up and fight including our AUS forces and Ph.

So here is what we are looking for.

Meet all of these Requirements:

- Size: We don’t care how small or big you are!

- Playstyle: We don’t care if you are casual, semi-hardcore or hardcore. As long as you are dedicated to WvW and you won’t quit when the fighting gets tough, come here.

- Attitude: Work together with others. Be positive. Stay approachable. Keep the ego down, earn the respect on the battlefield.

- Cross – Guild Cohesiveness : No guild will tell you what to do. There are no alliances or guilds on the server that will dictate your move or sway you in one direction.

- Language : As many know, Kaineng is a multi-cultural and international server. We have players from over 30 countries and many guilds speak different languages, although you will find no shortage of english-speaking players around you.

I wanted to give a shout out to all major guilds on BG and TC (too many to list here). Being on Kaineng since T6 it’s finally refreshing to have good competition that drives CO to practice over and over to fight some of your strategies. We are learning a lot from how Agg/FoE/GoF/iCoa run things and how PINK runs things. We know we are a new name in WvW amongst all the longer established guilds but we are no strangers.
