Like I said, I deleted it yesterday, but it didn’t work anymore FPS stayed 15. ( I started up GW2 after I deleted the Local.dat file, didn’t work.)

Yesterday there was this nice guy talking to me ingame to join the Guild, sadly when I came back to my computer, my game crashed I didn’t save his accountname, so sadly I can’t whisper him back. hopefully he’ll see this post.

Hello! I tried doing all your ideas, but none of it is working.
I’ve deleted my files yesterday, when I came back in the game I had 120 fps again, so I thought the problem was solved.

I logged in today, and got the same problem again, deleted the files, but now it stays again around the 15 fps.

- Logging in other characters don’t work.
- Tried both bit clients, don’t work.

Everything you said, I’ve tried doing, but it seems I’m still stuck with this problem

Dear Arenanet,

I’ve been having troubles with my FPS in Guildwars.
When i log in to one of my characters, my FPS is around the 12-15.
The fun part is, it is actually not funny, not at all.. But when i log in to my boyfriends account, the FPS is around the 70, on the SAME pc.

Apparently the FPS on my account is lower then any other account, while all the settings are the same on both accounts (all on high). This is the same problem on my PC, his account has high FPS whilst mine has only 12-15. We checked the settings of both accounts and it’s also the same, there is no difference.

My Pc specs:
i7-4790 (3.6Ghz Quad)
16GB ddr3 1600Mhz
Nvidia GTX760 (2gb)

My Boyfriends Pc specs:
i74790k (4.0Ghz Quad)
16GB ddr3 1600Mhz
Nvidia GTX980Ti (6GB)

Could you please explain to me, how this is possible and how you are able to fix this?

It is clearly not a PC related issue.. since both accounts run on the same pc, under the same sircumstances, with a large gap between the FPS.
