How about when anything goes viral in the internet, we ask the developers to implement it into the game? That would be awesome. Oh, wait…
Yep, confirmed that it’s intended that you pay to go to a waypoint after death. From the official online manual: “If you fail to rally from the downed state, you are defeated. In order to continue, you must use the map to choose any waypoint that you have already discovered where you would like your character to reappear. You will be charged a small amount of gold.”
I hadn’t realised that you were supposed to be able to get a free waypoint after death, I have never had that option.
I would hate to see mounts in this game. They’re not needed, with the waypoint system, and for aesthetic purposes, mini pets already exist.
Is this how some people are able to toss their key from almost centre-field right to the goal dude at the end?
I have occasionally had the issue of my female norn saying something with a male voice, when there are no other players or mobs nearby. Haven’t figured out a unifying factor yet, though.
In Harathi Hinterlands, there is a part where I get downleveled to level 37, and was wondering why Coyotes were killing me so easily and quickly. It turns out that they are level 42. If I understand properly, I should not get downleveled such that there is a 5 level difference between me and normal mobs. Screenshot here: http://i.imgur.com/YMDGa.jpg
Note: I stay at that level even if I run further into the coyote area, so it doesn’t seem to be an issue with being at the edge of a lower level subzone.
For my female norn, it’s actually not really random. The line doesn’t have audio every time the speaking character says the word “Slayer” as part of the speech. Once I started looking for patterns (with the starting suspicion that maybe it was name-related), no speech every single time “slayer” was part of what was to be said. Only two times so far where speech didn’t happen when “Slayer” was not part of the speech. Unable to confirm at the moment, because my current story line is as an initiate where I haven’t been called “Slayer” by anyone at the Order of Whispers. No problems with missing audio when they call me “initiate.”
