Nope. I did it again with the same results: no merchant, no achievement, nothing.

I have exactly the same problem: the heart is completed, but neither the achievement registered nor can I talk to the skritt without him telling me I still need to help the skritt.

I have also reported the issue using the in-game bug report.

No it won’t, like the gerent after patch, it could let people spread out to help if one lane is doing too bad.

You can still do the same in DS. In one of my runs my Commander sent 4-5 people to help kill the bosses in the other two lanes who had difficulty in doing so, while we kept running around killing Preservers. We succeeded, which means you can still help the other lanes without nerfing the current map.

On March they added 2 more, so now you can have 14 tabs in total.

Just saying for those who haven’t noticed it yet.

Thinking back the LS2 story with Wynne… instead of confronting Faolain, even fight her, Caithe chose to kill Wynne. Honestly, that was a horrible thing she did.

I trust Caithe even less now than I did before. And since I stopped trusting her at all before I even got to Orr, that means it’s in negative values, and she’s required to trust me more to make up for it. She’s completely undermined and compromised, proven to be utterly unreliable, and entirely too arrogant to be of any use to anyone, even herself. Certainly not her own people or anyone else in Tyria.

If I had my way she wouldn’t just be in a cell or under constant guard, she’d be dead.

Now that you mentioned jail, I realize I trust Canach more than I do Caithe.

Exactly. Canach is far more trustworthy -and far more interesting character- than Caithe. I picked him, along with Braham, for the final HoT battle.

I too agree with what Wreave wrote. The fact she followed and supported Faolain for so long speaks volumes of her; and having the nerve to stole Glint’s egg … Her choices have been anything but wise.

I noticed 2 anet staffers sitting there in the map waiting as well.
I cant tell if they are there to laugh at all us sitting there complaining and being mocked by the npc’s or if they truly don’t know whats going on either. my moneys is on the laughing… but that’s just my 2 cents…

How did you know they were ANet staffers? I’m genuinely curious. I don’t think I have ever seen one.

ANet staff, when they are repping their official guild, have a unique guild tag that is the red ArenaNet logo.

As for Seis Lazyheart, I stopped paying attention to her very existence after the second day she didn’t appear in Highpass Haven. Really, I prefer doing other activities than waiting for the …Charr that never comes. I was very annoyed at first with this event and ANet’s design, but then I decided to forget all about it. Heck, I even went and tried the new basketball activity, only to find out I’m horribly terrible at it.

No, nothing of sort.
I asked at Divinity’s Reach, another player confirmed it and another said he had different dailies. I have no idea what happened, but I thought of mentioning it because of ANet’s recent server issues and all.

In any case, the dailies list changed after I had traveled to two different maps, in Brisban and LA. All is good now.

It is fixed now, but at the time of day change I, and few others, got the same dailies.

Are in ANet aware that yesterday and today we got exactly the same dailies? [Gandara server]

In all honesty, GW2 is in desperate need of some sophisticated designed, elegant armours, because most of what we have now are sort of chunky, especially the heavy armour boots. Oh the horror!

I’d love some trousers for light armours, and mid or full length coats, or even long assymetrical male skirts, for medium – is it only me who finds the male Sneakthief set to be, by far, the best looking armour?

…and the gem store team should start thinking about creating more sets with separated parts, like the Viper set they gave us some time ago. I don’t understand this obsession with outfits.

I wasn’t here from the start, I’ve just been playing for one and half year with a long break in between [because, life]. Matter of fact, once I gave GW2 a chance I felt in love with Tyria immediately, and still love this world.

Tyria and “Fear Not This Night” will forever go hand in hand. It was my best reward for finishing the personal story – and I will do it again.

Trahearne was my friend. I felt more close to him than I felt to Eir. Now, I don’t really know why ANet made me to say that I will greatly miss her*. It’s sad she died but I am more sad over Trahearne’s death than hers.

*Better yet, I know but I disagree: It was a trick to force a false sympathy and future friendship for Braham. Sorry, but Rytlok and Canach are far more interesting characters than Braham.

Of course it is a game, you’ll never hear me saying otherwise; but there is a big difference between players who commit to the tasks at hand, and do what is required for the event to succeed, and those who either go AFK (usually in the most crucial part, the towers), or don’t even read the squad/map chat for instructions doing exactly the opposite of what their squad leader has asked them to.

To finish LWS3 chapter/part/episode 1, that is. My next objective is to “go to the bottom of the crater”, but I just can’t seem to make myself continue it.

My suggestion is you fully explore the map, get the new mastery, unlock all the new gliding abilities and then go down to the crater, because you will have to kill a few mobs; but if you use the two updrafts there to give the fight from air you will kill them easily without taking a scratch.

Or, maybe you try to feed them at the wrong time. I’ve noticed that in the Grove, for example, one kitten can fed during the night and the other during the day.

If you had a subscription I could see extending your sub for the time. As it is, I don’t see the issue.

That’s what ANet would probably do. Other game companies don’t give their players even a potion of the time they have already paid for.

If your game doesn’t start and you find yourself stuck in a white login screen, shut down the client and restart your computer.

If you additionally want to clear up any leftover data, before shutting down your computer go to C:\Users\<yourName>\AppData\ Local\ Temp, and delete anything stored in this folder.

Next attempt will successfully log you into the game.

Yes, I did use a speed booster once, but didn’t help much as the timer expired just a few steps before jumping to the finishing area.

I’m not that good at jumping like a rabbit all over the place; yet, I have managed to get a couple of golds in some adventures.

I know a lot of people find it fun to try over and over again, but I am just not one of them.

For those who still try to log in to the game and can’t… shut down your client and restart your computer. This worked fine for me.

Thanks for shutting down the servers, not allowing the bug to spread and affect an even bigger number of players. That was a wise decision; and if a rollback was what would save the day, so be it. Also, thanks for keeping us updated with all the details about the unfortunate incident and the progress to reinstate a working version of the game.

Sanctum Scramble stands between me and Glint’s Bastion. I guess my Revenant will never get this shield. I find this adventure more annoying than words can describe. Not that I like GW2 adventures in general, but this one takes the cake.

The Meta is wayyy too long and if you dc then GG. The tower phase sometimes is too annoying, it would be nice if the boss doesn’t respawn right after any of the pods are back up, at 100%, but would take some time to respawn a new one.

It is players and squad Commanders responsible for finishing the event fast, or drag it forever. It’s not the event mechanics “faulty” but players’ ability to do their job efficiently and timely.

Last evening I was in a map who finished the event, including Mordy’s death, in approximately 45 minutes. It was the fastest and more efficient DS map I have ever played. They were no accidents, no delays, no respawns and, most importantly, no AFKers.

The course of the White Mantle’s throwing rocks is just amazing: even if you turn behind a rocky hill they will still find you and kill you. There is absolutely no way they miss. Are we sure they are rocks and not missiles?

Whoever thought this is funny has a very bad sense of humour.

I liked Trahearne, and the moment of his death was the only shocking -and interesting- one during the last chapter.

I wished she had died in Trahearne’s stead. This sums up pretty much my feelings towards her and her actions.

It has been happening to me as well. It’s either the Facet of Darkness or Facet of Elements that will instantly activate Gaze of Darkness or Elemental Blast.

After the last patch, turning Facet of Darkness and Facet of Elements on will result in instantly activating either Gaze of Darkness or Elemental Blast.

This happens 8 in 10 times. Please fix it.

Thank you so much for making the final step of Personal Story soloable!
Today I finished it on my alt, a Herald, it was really enjoyable and, considering I died twice, satisfactory. No more frustration in joining groups of strangers who don’t care about the story or new players with no previous experience.

Now, if you could also change the difficulty of dungeons in story mode so as to accommodate for 1-5 players, that would be marvelous!

P.S. The song at the end of the PS is the best reward EVER!!!
