I honestly just miss the days of power builds//watching and interrupting skills. When you’re up against 1-3MMs/1-2 Spirit rangers spamming a point and you can’t see the player or the cast animations it just sucks. Anet shouldn’t be coddling unskilled players in PvP. There’s PvE for that. PvP should be about skill and only skill. That’s where the fun of PvP comes from: out kiting, thinking, maneuvering the opponent and not just standing there: target, drop marks, lolpettingzooawayyyy!

Anyways, it’s nice to see I’m not the only one who’s frustrated by this. Didn’t think anyone would reply, thanks guys.

Petting zoos in solo queues and team queues as far as the eye can see.

How have you dealt with all of the lovely pets (that are def under powered and need to be buffed up more with reduced cooldowns)?

How can anyone have any fun playing these builds?

As someone who has logged 1.5k hours on my necro alone. MMs are silly and belong in PvE. 0 skill to play that build. 0.

I could show you screen shots from Devona’s Rests Lions Arch map @ all of the prime times. Nothing about that server is very high. I think this is how ANET makes the game look appealing to people coming in for a new game, if they see all of the servers are Very High or High when they are actually Low/Medium they think these players will think the games more active?

Devona’s Rest = Very High population.
Reality = Very Very Very Low population.

Just to clear things up because there are a lot of rumors going on about us moving… When we left Devona’s Rest we all agreed that we were looking for a new server HOME.

We will not be transferring off of SBI.

We’re [BEAST] on SBI, we are focused on WvW only and have absolutely no interest in PvE. We are into PvP and can be found in our down times dueling, 2v2,3v3,4v4,5v5ing in our own arena. PvP is the only way to truly master your class and timing when it comes to what skill to use and when. If you are looking for a hardcore gaming FAMILY look no further. I use the word family because that is exactly what we are(laugh like one and give each other a hard time like one but at the end of the day we’re exactly that, a family). Our core has been gaming together since the release of GW2 (so we’re pretty stable) and come together from all ends of the globe (aus/eu/south and north america).

So what do you guys do… exactly?
We run a tight, family like, hardcore WvW guild. We’re focused more on K/D ratio than PPT but don’t mind helping out the PPTrs when needed. We love zergbusting and general open field combat. We don’t mind running havoc squads either!

Who are you looking for?
We are looking for WvW enthusiasts like ourselves! People who think that is strategy > lolwtfzergballfaceplantthisgate. If you like seeing a lot of dead people and glittering glorious loot bags saying, PICK ME! Then we are looking for you.

What are the rules?

• When we run you come. No exceptions. (We run every night at the same time.) Edit: This rule only applies to those who are ONLINE when we are running. Had to clarify.
• We don’t require rep outside of run times.
• While in the guild members shall not discuss our builds, tactics or synergy ideas with anyone else other than members.
• If you’re using an uplevel in wvw stand down and rep your own guild or our secondary guild RallyBots.
• Do NOT talk over the driver in the TS3. If you’re down state so. If there’s incoming state so. If you have a combo field down state so. Else trust in our driver.
• Have a problem with another member? Deal with it. Leave your drama at the door. If the Guildmasters have to step in both members will be kicked.
  (We’re here to play a game not baby sit)
• Members who do not pull their weight in the group will be removed. No exceptions.(Help will be given to those who need it. If the member is not able to improve performance then they will be removed.)
• Show your foes respect. Act like a winner, not an kitten.
  (Even if they’re trolling you, kill them with kindness)
• Do not troll other guilds or commanders on map. If you have a problem let the Guild Masters know and they will handle it.
• Keep an ample supply of cocaine next to your desk to get pumped.

What we can offer to you

Calling a guild dumb because two members jumped into a sea of attackers to try to help in anyway is immature. Regardless of what side your on in this weeks match try to keep it classy. Being respectful to people makes them respect you more.

No really, our OL was completely empty and they walked a lone golem in by themselves. Made it about halfway up the stairs to outer before two people saw and then about 10 more showed up before it died after we called it out in map chat. Not saying they’re dumb, that wasn’t even my comment; but really they could get SO much better before they get their ego get the best of em.

What ego? No one in BEAST has an ego. Are we good? As a leader I’m bias Can we improve? Yes and we do every week. Have we gotten our kitten handed to us multiple times this week? Yeup. Have we kicked some kitten this week? Yes we have! One thing we don’t do however is troll other guilds regardless of how good or bad they are. For us it’s more about respect for our enemies at the end of the day. If we get our kitten beat we turn around and say GJ! Good fight. Now what did we do wrong and how can we fix it. We’ve only been around for a month now I’d ssay we’re off to a good start. Good job this week YB a lot of good fights too. Kept us on our toes.

In this match-up thread I see all this come out and play stuff. lol When we do come out and play SBI zerg balls need to number in the 80-100 range. We have wiped your big guilds up and down the maps constantly. Your answer? The funny part about it is your server wouldn’t hold a candle to servers with equal numbers. Even completely outnumbering an opposing server you get wiped. How can you brag about that? Sorry but it seems to me SBI will fall once again when you realize your numbers don’t mean anything when you are teamed against skilled servers with equal numbers. Seeing some of our tags in there I gotta say that was great defense on your part. ONE has always been fun to fight. Never underestimate the power of choke points with proper siege placement. I’d still say we’re ready for No one said we wanted T1, we will settle for T2.

Honestly ONE has been one of the guilds we’ve had fun fighting. Great organization and you guys ALWAYS time those war banners perfectly.

I don’t think we’re even one of the biggest guilds here. Reset we field 30 and nightly we field 20ish. We only have 64 members.

It’s WvW, not GvG. Not sure what you expect. You think people are just going to leave it alone when they’re trying to play the game as intended? Anet or not, you’re going to get grief for wasting everyone else’s time in wvw by sitting there and not contributing.

WvW is GvG one way or another. Open field combat between two guilds still follows under WvW. Expesh with the new stomping = points.

Anvil rock is kinda a dead server for WvW. I was on Devona’s Rest before I xfered to SBI. I’d recommend changing servers and moving up to something with higher pop

We’re located on SBI NA and are a hardcore WvW guild(some do like to PvP) we run anywhere from 5PM CST-3AMCST. Don’t know if you’d consider a transfer

I’m not one to care about PPT, but i honestly hate versing SBI-.-
Since all these transfers, i rarely ever get even numbered fights when i run 10-15 man groups with my guild.. The only guild who give great fights and actually stand out of the 70 man zergs in BEAST. So yeah, i’ll be in Yaks BL for most of this week just looking for good fights.

You can already tell though this league kitten is seriously broken. When you’re throwing matches to drop ranks because you’d rather rotflstomp lower servers as opposed to facing kitten for 7 weeks…

There’s a lot that ANET needs to fix.
