I had this issue on that mission as well; it’s not just you.

Yes. They are bad and should feel bad.

Signet builds work well in early game, but their main strength comes from the flat precision bonus, which becomes much weaker in higher levels, such that it’s not worth taking over level 60.
There’s no group support at all, no defense, no CC, no period of learning to actually use utilities.

Basically, it’s the W/Mo with Mending from GW1.

^does the greatsword even do bleeding? Or are you bleeding them with something else first? I always thought it just added vulnerability on one of the auto-attacks.

If he’s getting the +10% vs bleeding targets (25 points in Arms), he’ll also have 33% chance of bleeding on crit (5 points in Arms). Not exactly reliable when making calculations on paper though.

Has Guild Wars 2 been worth your $60.00?

I have bought a LOT of gems, mostly due to a crippling dye addiction, and severe altaholism.
I’m not even sure I want to total up how much I’ve spent between collector’s edition and all the gems.
Still worth way more than I’ve paid.

In my playthrough, I didn’t go there from an Asura storyline, but did on a Order of Whispers mission.
Of course, I’m still only halfway through my second asura, with still a third to come later, so it could be on another path.
I’ve done Dynamics and Synergetics for college, and the weather machine for first invention.

While Sieran is amazing, and Forgal has some great moments, neither can match Tybalt.
I love all his dialog, especially when you’re pretending to be a pirate.

Also Defending the ChantryAfter his death, coming across a lock he made, and finding out the password was "Apples", the "Thanks Tybalt" made me smile

Best NPC ever.

Imo this game has one basic problem.
The fastest way to get full exotic is… staying in 1 place and killing trolls together with 20 more players, looting powerfull blood and selling it on TP then buying the best equipment.
It takes 1 week to get max lvl and then 2 days to get the best gear. When you have the best possible gear, you will notice, that it’s not worth to do ANYTHING. Any event won’t give you a reward, because you have everything. Any killed dragon won’t give you a reward, any dungeon won’t give you a reward. Just nothing. You can start another character, but once you hit lvl 80 and the best gear, you are in the same point as before.
There should be something called character progress. You do something, so you become a bit stronger. It’s not a matter of days to become stronger, but for example, you have to kill all world bosses to get 1 trophy from each boss and then you can create some stronger armor from these. You have to kill some bosses in various dungeons to get something that you can exchange for another armir piece.
Everything you do, should give you a reward, so you will be able to focus on something to get what you want and once you get it, you will be happy and you will feel, that you want to continue playing to get more.
Atm, I’m farming dungeons to get skins for my elementalist (I’m missing only 60 tokens for gloves) and then I’ll probably get a thief to lvl 80, but after that I have no idea what to do in this game. For me fun is getting rewards, not repeating events or dungeons, so if you say that I should do what I want then I want to get rewards, doesn’t matter how.

There was never going to be this. What you’re describing is a “gear treadmill” – do X to get the gear so you can do Y, so you can get the gear to do Z etc etc. I think this is what Infuser and the OP are after too.
This is against Anet’s basic philosophy – max stat items are fairly easy to obtain, and after that it’s about you being better at the game (rather than your character having bigger numbers), and doing whatever you find enjoyable (rather than doing the next step in a line of the same things).
The rewards for completion are aesthetic skins.

Also, in terms of repeating content, this is much lighter than normal. The “normal” is having to repeat a dungeon/world boss with a slim chance of getting the item you want, and needing a full set in order to progress to the next tier.

Should have been fixed in the 1st of October patch – definitely fixed it for me at least.

The Sylvari Origin Conspiracy

Ninth Requiem.3250

Firstly, the risen aren’t connected to Nightmare at all.
Nightmare is, in fact, a part of the dream; a part created by the dark feelings of sylvari, originally when Cadeyrn saw the results of the Inquest’s experiments on one of the first-born. The Court embraces that part of the dream, and wishes the entire dream to turn to this way of thinking. Even the Nightmare Court still feels the call to fight the dragons.

Secondly, the Pale Tree creates Sylvari outright. Zhaitan instead corrupts the bodies of the dead. Entirely different way of doing things.

Thirdly, the Sylvari do have blood of a sort; it’s more of a sap, but it’s still an equivalent.

Fourthly, the “Other Tree” doesn’t have any call to fight the dragons.

Fifthly, Orr storylineZhaitan gets his power from eating magical artifacts. The Pale Tree has shown no signs of such
