I get below 30 fps on med settings in SM map ( at the castle ) in WvW…
I am currently using GTX 560 and stock settings for my CPU. So I guess it’s better to save my money eh?
Okay so whats the best way to get that precursor?
Can you get them off 75 – 80 exotics?
Will 4 lvl 80 exotics have better chances than 4 lvl 75 exotics?
and when Anet said there is a higher chance with exotics just how much better??
Is it better to triple your investment into exotics? or
Just roll with lvl 80 rares?
Freaking precursors are spiking to 300g a piece and are increasing as gold value keeps decreasing(from botters). There has to be a more viable way to obtain them! I have set a goal for myself and that is to get a legendary in a months time and I don’t think it’s actually possible because the precurors are way to hard to obtain! The rest of the items takes vast amount of time, but precursors are nothing, but luck! The mystic clovers are accpetable because you will get them eventually (1mil karma will cover everything basically).
Are you seriously preventing people from making the legendaries when they have all 3 pieces of the gift (not excluding the weapon)??
Seems like if your build don’t incorporate any condition removal you’re screwed.
I’m a guardian and the only skills that remove conditions are meditation skills and along with human skills.
Every time I charge into a zerg force I get infested with conditions and have to quickly back out and pop all my condition removal skills. I must then have to wait at least 45s before actually entering melee combat again which sucks! (Range pretty bad too)
I have a nice armor skin too and believe it or not it pulls even more aggro lol
There needs to be a DR system on conditions after you remove them in WvW (conditions reduced by 10% per condition removed for 5s or something)
Sword dps in terms of auto attack is better than GS, but the damage from the sword sucks! The #3 skill cannot be cast while on the move!
Blink is not actually that great I swap between sword and sceptre in WvW
The blink’s damage is far to little for it to be compensated by a blind! (It occasionally miss the blind as well)
Just so you know you can make the #5 skill time instant cast with the skill “judges intervention” press #5 then press the teleport skill and bam! instant ring on your target! Note: this won’t work if the target is 1200>range
Currently have 91% crit and 95% crit dmg in WvW. Can’t lose in any 1 v 1 situations and have 1.6k tough and 15.5k life it’s the meta now.
I assume that is including Fury buff +20% and/or +250precision max stack from the sigil that gives +10precision on kill.
If not how did you manage to get 91% crit chance, I can only get around 75-77% with 30points in radiance,one handed weapons +15% crit. trait and +5% critical chance sigil.
Btw two +5% critical chance sigils do not work.
I get a flat 71% with 2-handed weapons at max stacks 250 precision + food + maintenance oil + 1 orb. With 1 handed (mastery + 1 sigil) I get 20% increase = 91%
no fury required.
w/ fury i get over 100% w/ 1 handed

Gear I’m currently wearing is balanced knight + Valkyrie
Knight gives tough, preci, power
Valkyrie gives vit, power, crit dmg
I run 6 divinity runes
Helm is berserker
Weapons are all zesker
The scepter is actually a decent weapon however the auto attacks needs rework! Range weapons are a must in WvW so if I wanted to wield a sword and a hammer together your pretty much going to be punished for it. Guardian is a class with little range and is definitely flawed on their part, either reduce range damage overall and increase melee dmg or rework the scepter…
This is really starting tokitten me off man. I haven’t gotten a single token from CoF since the patch and the whole instance is buggy as hell. Members from my party crash and can’t re enter the same instance actually they can’t even enter the instance at all. Srsly do you guys even test out the patch before releasing it?

I got this awesome armor skin that I worked really hard for and I have to show it off in WvW.. oh wait .. i’m a zerg!… Come on lets get real who actually cares what other people look like when your in a zerg? Okay put me into sPvP wheres my armor? Oh crap! I have to re earn my skin!? Seriously why would you do that?
I’ve never, EVER understood why people would actually want PvP to be a gear arms race – all that does is change a contest of skill into a gear check (OK, so people who aren’t terribly skilled but can put in the time to grind the gear like it). I would want to know that I beat the other guy because I’m better at playing my class, not because I had a higher average item level. PvP gear in WoW was a necessary evil, because without it the PvE progression raiders with the best gear would dominate in PvP (as we did back in the vanilla WoW days). In a game that has – hallelujah! – pretty much disposed of gear progression as a PvE endgame, you don’t need gear progression in PvP.
What I really don’tt understand, though, is why you “don’t see the point” of sPvP with the gear given to you, when you say it’s the small-scale fights that get your heart pumping. Isn’t that reward enough? Can you not do PvP just for the joy of it without loot-whoring?
Sorry, but getting end game gear is not hard. All level 80 exotics have the same stats as any other level 80 exotics! A casual gamer can get a full set rather quickly. Gear has little value to PvP in this game anyways. sPvP limits your building options compared to the real game where I can get 100 crit dmg, but in sPvP you can’t.
I don’t mind grinding the skins man! It’s actually what keeps me playing! It’s just that they only have 1 purpose and I don’t think they are even good at doing that because of all the zergs.
WvWvW is fun and all but it isn’t really real pvp. It’s 90% zerging and 10% actual pvp where it’s small group paired up against another for control over a small zone.
Getting gear in the game only has 1 purpose and it’s to use it in WvW to show off how cool you would look, but in reality your in a zerg so no one is actually going to look at your armor.
sPvP is really cool because it has a completely different aspect to the real game itself because you can’t replicate the stats in sPvP. (ie. knights amu). However, all the gear is already given to you so I don’t see the point in that.
There should be PvP, but you can only use the gear that people have earned. (Getting the end game gear is not hard, but the skins are). Those moments in WvW where it’s a 1v1 or 2v2 situation with no body interfering is what really gets my heart pumping!

Thanks! Never played Gw1 though, just thought of it when I played this acrade game where I got a rank and I was like why can’t guild wars 2 dungeons be like dat lol
So basically you get sub objectives in the dungeons that you could complete if you want to or not but it will not affect your regular reward in any way. One objective would be like don’t die X amount of times and you will achieve a rank of A and say you would get like 5 tokens more as your final reward.
Things like the bomb dis fuse event in CoF(magg) complete the event in less than X seconds. Or boss fights where you have to complete it within a certain time limit. This would encourage coordination especially in the CoF(boss). Small things like that could increase the reward you net. The extra reward should be small as well nothing that will break anything in terms of doing a regular run and ranked run.
Rewards like maybe if you complete every sub objective you get a rank S and if you get a rank S X amount of times you can unlock a new title? IDK something for people to strive for because there are pretty good parties out there and also since everyone is complaining that doing dungeons aren’t rewarding enuf.
Just started my first dungeon after previewing the awesome armors for CoF, however you have to complete story first…. I gave it a try and I can’t even get pass the second mob of monsters. So I tried to recruit ppl for the dungeon but no one is doing story! Man I thought story was suppose to be easy.. or I just got to l2p maybez?
